After finishing the rounds I brought, I noticed my groupings were down and to the left. Since I had just installed a new optic, I thought it might not be zeroed correctly. On my way out, I decided to ask for some advice. Mike was extremely kind and took the time to ask a few questions to understand the issue. He then gave me about 36 rounds, told me to grab a new target, and said he'd meet me in a lane. Long story short, he spent 10-15 minutes helping to figure out the problem and got me shooting in the right direction ;) at no cost. I didn't expect that at all and couldn't be more grateful for his time. I also met Steven, the owner, who was just as friendly and took time to answer my questions about purchasing specific firearms. At no point did I feel like a burden. Thanks again for your time, I'll definitely be back, even with a 30-40 minute commute. It's worth it.

Y'all Won't Believe How Smooth My First Time at the Gun Range Went--Thanks to Allen & Erick!**…read more I finally moseyed on down to the local gun range for the first time, and let me tell ya, it was sweeter than a jar of Granny's peach preserves. Now, I ain't gonna lie, I was tighter than a banjo string walkin' in there, thinkin' 'bout all them loud bangs and cold steel. But faster than a jackrabbit in July, two good ol' boys named Allen and Erick swooped in like guardian angels and quicker'n you can say "safety first," they had me feelin' safer than a newborn calf in a barn stall. Allen, steady as a tractor in a hayfield, started me off slower than molasses in January, showin' me the ropes real patient-like. "This here's your safety," he said, pattin' the Glock like it was a trusty hound. "Treat her right, and she'll treat you right." Meanwhile, Erick--built like an oak tree and just as steady--stood back, eagle-eyein' my grip like a hawk watchin' a field mouse. "Ain't nothin' to fret over," he rumbled, his voice smoother than a well-oiled saddle. "We ain't leavin' your side till you're shootin' straighter than a preacher's sermon." And shoot straight I did! Once that first round fired off--*bang!*--it felt like the good Lord himself lit a firecracker in my soul. The smell of gunpowder hung in the air like Sunday supper 10 outta 10 would recommend to kin and strangers alike. Yeehaw!

Used the range while attending a firearms training and qualification class. Located right off the…read more15 freeway in Fallbrook, at the Rainbow exit just south of Temecula. Dirt road entrance to different outdoor ranges within the property. Ranges are unsupervised so it is imperative to bring a first aid/medical kit in case of emergency and bring a friend or family member with you and have an emergency plan every time you visit. Parking is limited, arriving early is best. A few porta potties are available by the office. Ear and eye protection are required on the property starting at 0900 in and around the ranges at all times. Plastic barrels are available for use, Wooden stationary bases to hang target sheets and markers, broom and buckets are available for cleanup. Bring your staple gun and target sheets!!

Went down to Redlands Shooting Park for an individual lesson. The initial instruction wasn't the…read morebest experience, but what really matters is how a business responds--and this one nailed it. After speaking with the owner, he addressed the issue immediately and personally took my wife and me out for an hour and a half private lesson. The difference was night and day. The instruction was detailed, efficient, and extremely productive. We learned more in that session than we expected, and it showed a real commitment to customer experience. The new owner clearly has a strong drive to make this place succeed, and it shows. Because of that, we'll be spending most of our weekends here moving forward. Highly recommend giving this place a shot--literally and figuratively.
