They weren't friendly or welcoming and seemed much more attentive to regulars or people they knew. They took the seller's ID right away, but only checked my information much later. They then denied the PPT because my California driver's license was missing a space in my last name, even though my passport card and FSC showed my correct legal name. They explicitly stated that the ATF does not allow this exact situation, but four other FFLs had no issue with the same documents and I could not find any ATF guidance supporting that claim. It felt like an excuse rather than a legitimate requirement. Had I been buying directly from them instead of bringing in a $10 PPT, I doubt this would have been handled the same way. They wouldn't accept even the smallest gratuity. They could have charged me hundreds of dollars for cleanings but instead provided a free service and a smile. Truly great Americans. Bob Wu was outstanding. His background, professionalism, and teaching style really stood out. He made my wife feel completely comfortable and confident throughout the lesson, and she truly enjoyed it--so much so that she's already planning to book more sessions. I was originally there mainly to support her, but Bob was so impressive that I decided to jump in too, and I'm really glad I did. The receptionist simply directs everyone to stand in line without explaining the membership priority. Watching people walk straight to the front while you've been waiting a long time is pretty frustrating, especially when that policy isn't clearly communicated upfront. This place really needs better organization and customer service. Clear communication would make a huge difference. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend coming here.
