Went to store to buy gun. And saw the price on display for 850. The rep said its cause we put a red dot on it. I said said i want the one online. The rep said its cause your looking at a non ca compliant. I showed him the screenshot and he proceeded to say thats the plain gun no red dot. Thats what I wanted the other rep stated those are 799. Then the rep that was helping me said "we haven't used the website in 3 years" . But failed to mention it until I called him out and showed them the site. Terrible business sense. Awful service and Will is especially bad. Bought a new sig P320 from them which had a trigger issuer that I found from day one of shooting it. Brought it to them to discuss why I was sold this firearm that clearly feels wrong. Will told me "Just send it back to Sig and they'll fix it." When I told him I was annoyed with the fact that there was no inspection on their end before selling to me, and now I have to go and wait and send this back. He then replied "I don't even feel bad when this happens to someone because it happens so rarely" Rather than causing a storm after that comment, I took my gun and left. Will Never return, and will never recommend any of my friends to go there ever again. Will is a bad employee with zero customer service skills or even care. read more

Good selection of firearms. Took my certificate test here and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Prices a bit higher than Turner's but the experience is SO much better than the Torrance Turner's. Ugh. The Norwalk Turner's is great however. I came here to take my FSC test since usually my goto place would be turners, but we all know how long it can take there lol. Anyways I was able to finish everything in probably under 10 mins or so. They do offer services to laminate your card for 1.25 which I highly recommend if you do not have access to a machine to keep that paper card safe. read more

Have purchased three firearms from Cap. No issues. A few years back they had some primers at a fantastic price so I left work to go pick them up. When I got there I was told it's only one box per customer. I told Bill that I left work and hour and a half early to make it down before they closed. He bent his rules for me and allowed me to get the two boxes I came in for. read more

It's definitely a family shop and the owner is really nice. He gave me a certificate to carry/ own in Cali. We originally came here about 8 years ago when we first considered a firearm. We had taken the gun safety classes and tested a few models at Firing Line Huntington Beach before settling on a Sig Sauer. Bill is extremely knowledgeable and talked us through the gun buying process. He pointed us to the Sig p226 M25, the California version of the standard Navy Seal issue. He also walked us through the complex firearm registration process as well. The state took the full 30 or so days to grant the license but we were able to complete the purchase. As for the standard how does a business treat blacks and women question? Bill and his wife treat you with respect, regardless of race and gender. You won't feel an impression you are being talked down to. He was very patient when my wife was making the decision to make our first purchase. read more

Customer service is outstanding! I'm always greeted and treated with respect. Questions are answered in a polite manner and these guys/gals are all top notch. Lots of knowledge and very helpful. I'd recommend this place for experienced and first time gun owners. I've purchased all my firearms and most of my ammo from this place and their prices are unbeatable, in a time when other stores decided to take advantage and start marking up their prices, CAP Tactical remained fair. What can I say about this place? This is my go to firearms store. The demand for firearms is at an all time high. With that said, you just have to be patient. Whether that's trying to get a hold of them on the phone. Or, waiting in line outside of the store. It all really is random as to how busy they are and isn't there fault. This is the case at almost any firearms store currently. The shop itself is well organized and clean. I've purchased a couple of firearms here with no issues. The staff works as quickly, efficiently as possible and are very courteous. There's not one complaint I have about this store. Best part, they post on social media what new ammo or firearms they have frequently. My last two purchases have gone through Bill who's the owner. Very knowledgeable and willing to help. ***Long Read Ahead*** Arrived today around 11:30 am this morning and there were 3 employees, two of which were already attending customers and 1 employee which was inventorying ammo and pricing it who greeted me upon entry and let me know he would be with me once he was one with his task at hand. He asked me If I was there for pickup which I said yes to it was an online order I was picking him. During this time there were only 3 customers in the store, myself and the two customers already being attended. During this time more customers began arriving and forming a line in another line next to the one next to me. I thought nothing of it. I was FINALLY called to the counter once the employee was done pricing the what seemed to be recently arrived ammo. When I walked up to the counter he asked for my ID which I gladly handed it to him, once he looked me with in the system the following conversation ensued; Employee: "oh you still haven't done the background for this" Me: "No well that's what I'm here to do and pick up the ammo I thought it was done at the same time". Employee: "oh we still have to do your background check, you were standing in the wrong line you will have to get back in that line" Me: *Looking at the line that was out the door now because of social distancing albeit it was only 4 customers* "Are you serious I was literally the only other customer in here before anyone else that means I would have been first in that line as well" Employee: "Oh yeah well that's why the signs are on the door outside that say for pickup and background checks" Me: "Come on man you gotta be kidding me I was literally the only customer that was in here before anyone else got here your just choosing not to help me. After that happened I just said forget about the order I'll call the site I ordered from and cancelled. When the employee asked me if I was there for pickup not once did they ask if I had completed the background check, had that been in the case I would have stood in the other line and I would have been first in line. I waited patiently while this numb nuts put the ammo away patiently even though It felt like the customer should be taken care of first. While waiting for him to be ready for me I browsed around a bit and decided I was going to take some other items on this visit as well. Instead I left with nothing but disappointment and frustration, exceptions can be made, every other customer saw that I was there before them, they would have not argued the fact that "I was in the wrong line" what a poor experience I wont be going back and mind you this place has a hand full of firearms with what I saw were ridiculous prices, go elsewhere and avoid this place at all cost. read more
