Came in with a hellcat pro that had a trigger issue "another shop installed" staff super friendly asked a few qualifying questions about the initial trigger & install, And went to work! Had me right in no time at all. Without a doubt or hesitation this will be my new go to place, And it should be yours too!

I had an excellent experience at Guns LA in Burbank and can't recommend them enough. About a year ago, I purchased a handgun from another dealer that has since permanently closed. Recently, I noticed some parts were coming loose and was concerned about safety. I reached out to a few shops, and while the first place was willing to help, I felt like they were more focused on trying to sell me something rather than genuinely helping with my issue. Thankfully, I found Guns LA right around the corner. After seeing their great reviews on Yelp and Google, I decided to stop by and I'm so glad I did. Deon helped me from the start and was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He never made me feel uncomfortable and took the time to explain everything clearly. Not only did he inspect and fix my firearm, but he also spent time teaching me how to properly use my Holosun sight and gave me helpful tips to improve my shooting. He even shared a flyer for private training lessons, which I really appreciated. Best of all, there was zero pressure to buy anything. He genuinely cared about helping me, not making a sale. When I returned to pick up my handgun, Deon and Mike explained that the previous dealer had actually left out some important parts, something they couldn't believe. Luckily, Guns LA has a certified gunsmith on staff (apparently one of the only ones within a 20-mile radius), and they took great care of everything. I'm extremely grateful to have found this place. They've earned my trust and my business. I'll definitely be coming back for future purchases, and they're now the only shop I'll trust with my handguns and AR-15. Highly recommend Guns LA if you're looking for honest, professional, and knowledgeable service! Big thank you to Deon

The work that was completed by the shop.

Let me just say Deon the best. Came in for a grip module swap and a sight install and Deon took care of me immediately. Was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Will most definitely comeback.

Used Smith & Wesson .500 Magnum revolver.

What are your fees for ammo transfers?

We do not charge our customers for ammo transfers. All you have to pay for is the CA background check.…

Hi there, do you offer gunsmithing? Looking to replace factory sights on my Springfield XD9. Thanks

Yes, they do. Art (aka BlackBeardCustoms) is one of the shop owners and a master gunsmith himself. He removed my red-loctite-ed Leupold DPP without any issues from a Beretta FS92. Decent pricing as well. Best of luck, Filip

Have you thought about adding a filter to remove all the out of stock items so that your website isn't so useless? I went through a few pages before giving up and going to your competitors.

Dose Guns LA do private party ammo transfer?

Yes, we handle all transactions. This includes PPT of both firearms and ammunition.

Hello, I would like to buy a gun for self-defense. I'm not sure your inventory on S&Ws and Colts, but if you don't have a gun in stock and it's California compliant, are you able to order it? I'm thinking of a .357 so I can also use .38s with it.

Is this a shooting range also?

Unfortunately, we’re just a retail store. We do not have a shooting range on site. However, we do have free passes to local shooting ranges which you will receive when picking up your purchased firearm.

I have a Romeo 1 Pro that I would like installed on my Sig P320 X compact. It has the removable plate on the backside so it should be fairly easy to install. Will you guys be able to do that? And if so how much would that be?

Yes, we can easily install it for you. We charge a flat $50 for red dot sight installs on factory cut slides, assuming all correct items are included such as sealing plates, mount screws, and optic screws.

Do they have a layaway system?

Unfortunately we’re not offering layaway options at this time.

Do they sell trigger kits for glocks?

    Yes. Zev

Save yourself the money and frustration by taking a basic firearms safety or beginner shooting course first. This class assumes you already understand the fundamentals of firearm safety and handling. Range day is taken very seriously, and the instructors expect you to already know your firearm and follow directions immediately. One instructor in particular, Robert, is extremely professional but also very stern and direct. Some people may mistake that for being harsh, but it's obvious his priority is making sure everyone goes home safely. There is military-style discipline on the range, and yes, there will be raised voices if someone isn't following instructions. That's exactly how it should be when live firearms are involved. As for the classroom portion, Arvin is outstanding. He's respectful, knowledgeable, and makes the class genuinely enjoyable. He has a great sense of humor, keeps everyone engaged, and there's never a dull moment. At the same time, when it's time to get serious, he flips that switch immediately and remains professional. He answers every question honestly, doesn't sugarcoat anything, and explains the laws and responsibilities of carrying a firearm in a way that's easy to understand. For the price, I honestly don't think you'll find a better value. The training is well worth the cost. The only downside is parking. The lot is very small, so I highly recommend arriving at least 30-35 minutes early if you want a chance to park there. Arvin does his best to fit as many vehicles as possible, but most people will likely end up parking on the street. Be aware that some of the surrounding street parking has a two-hour limit, so pay attention to the signs to avoid a potential ticket. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. I would absolutely return to Nationwide CCW for future training and my CCW renewal. After talking with several friends who have taken classes elsewhere, I can honestly say this was one of the best experiences I've heard of. Thank you again to Arvin, Robert, and the entire Nationwide CCW team for providing a professional, informative, and safety-focused class. I highly recommend them. - George Morales

2nd 5-star Review:…read more I'm in love with GUNS DIRECT. I LOVE THIS PLACE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I ALWAYS GET HERE. Since my first purchase, I've returned for a rifle with a fixed mag, which I learned before picking up I could have converted to "featureless", so I could use replaceable mags. I asked Ramiro about this, and that's how I learned Ramiro is an armorer, and he walked me through the conversion. He sold me what I later found was the best featureless grip handle on the market, and then he completed the conversion for free with my purchase of the grip handle, and my 2 new replaceable mags. I've really appreciated Ramiro's advice, insights, and the personal experience Ramiro has shared with me , which has all turned out to be valid and true. I have the bruises to prove it. I wanted a KSG. That's how I found GD. Thats how I met Ramiro. He didn't lie to me. He warned me about the recoil on a pump action shotgun like the KSG. I said I'd get used to it. He asked if I was sure. I said "I have to." So not only did he sell me a KSG, he stopped me from getting the scratched unit I was looking at, and got me a blemish-free KSG. As a newbie with no mentor to walk me into this world, I was willing to just buy whatever a knowledgeable salesman would sell me, simply accepting that a scratch was just how firearms sales can sometimes be--but Ramiro didn't let that happen. Ramiro really has been a great guide. He helped me pick my first 9mm--S&W M&P 2.0-and it's such a great firearm. It's solid. Reliable. Accurate. Comfortable. Looks cool. Comes with switchable grips. I bought Trijicon night sights on Amazon, and took over a month to make my way to GD for the install, only to find I had bought sights for the wrong S&W 9mm. Since it had been over 30 days, I couldn't return them, but Ramiro not only found me an alternative option (Ameriglo optic compatible GRM tritium) night sights--but also included the install with the purchase. I love my new Ameriglo night sights on my M&P 2.0 9mm! What a difference. And great bang for your buck. And they are optic-ready sights, so I can add the red dot later on. I appreciated being guided so knowledgeably. I follow Ramiro's lead confidently. And while I was there doing this, Ramiro asks me if I had with me the adapters that came with the streamlight I had on my 9mm, because he was offering to fix the streamlight I improperly installed on my 9mm (which was sticking out too far). I did not have them, so he offered to fix it for me if I just brought the adapters. I really appreciated Ramiro's offer, but more importantly I appreciated him pointing out to me my improper installation. I soon realized I could fix it myself. I've since fixed it, and I have yet again Ramiro to thank. To be clear, every single rep at GD has been helpful and totally professional. I've really appreciated the service I've received. Alonso, Danny, Jerry, Sherri, Alex all super helpful professionals. Alonso and Danny both remembered my name, which is shocking because this place is popular. I love love love Guns Direct. My gun shop for life! I already have my eye on two more firearms, and Jerry even has me thinking about a revolver. And Ramiro makes me want a semiautomatic shotgun. I love it!

I really can't say enough good things about Tactical Firearms Institute…read more For starters, I wasn't exactly brought up in a gun culture, but I picked up my skills along the way through family, friends, and videos. And I was also going to the range enough to get frustrated at how I was stuck at my skill level and knew I needed training. With that, it's difficult to explain how much better, more confident, and comfortable I am with a firearm since I started training with Edmond (OJ). His expertise in the field is apparent immediately, and he has a resume that is hard to beat. But that's half of it. He's a great teacher who has the master-level talent of identifying your skill level, correcting mistakes, and patiently pushing you to a higher level than you thought was possible in yourself. And you can double everything I said about CCW training. If you have a CCW license, but you're uneasy about the concept of carrying it in public, I cannot express how important good training will be to you and how much OJ has helped me.

The staff was organized, check-in was easy, and the hybrid format made the whole process painless (unlike some IV attempts I've witnessed in real life). What really impressed me was how efficient everything was. Once I passed my exam, they handed me my certificate the same day--no waiting, no chasing emails, no mysterious "processing time." Just boom. Certified. I wish everything in healthcare worked that fast. Now for the real highlight: Instructor Steele Erickson. Steele is the kind of nursing instructor you secretly hope for but never expect to get. He breaks down IV therapy and blood withdrawal with such clarity and patience that even tricky techniques suddenly feel manageable. Life got in the way a couple of times during this portion of the class and I was able to talk to Mika and figure out a plan so that I wouldn't have to miss class. I also loved listening to her real life stories of working in nursing. The course I took was 5 weeks, 8 hours a day. The first two weeks were online. There is a lot of reading, a lot of quizzes, and several tests, but you get the hang of it quickly. The second week was practical where you learned the skills. I got pretty frustrated when I didn't get the skill right the first time, but the fact is that there are a lot of steps to the skills and these are brand new things that I'm learning. It all falls into place when you go into the clinical. You get to apply what you learned in class and in your practical learning. I especially loved my clinical rotations at the hospital. It gave me such a bigger perspective on the healthcare industry and patient care. I learned so much and discovered that I really liked working in ER. I look forward to applying everything I learned in my future career.
