Stopped by to order my next addition. Mynor helped out and made the whole process so easy and pleasant. He was courteous and even showed me what I was looking for and some other options. I had been looking for this one specific piece and by miracle THEY HAD IT AND IT WAS THE LAST ONE! That made my day. Not to mention their prices were much better than everyone else. I have officially found my new favorite spot. Thank you Mynor and thank you Burbank A&G! read more

Walked in today for some help with a jammed castle but on my buffer tube. Erick was able to help me out super fast. The staff is all very polite and extremely knowledgeable. Glad to have this place in the neighborhood. Highly recommend. read more

Been there twice great people but I picked a bad day. I was looking for a specific firearm and they were lined up shoulder to shoulder. First time was window shopping. The second they had the caliber I wanted but not the brand (357 lever action in consignment) The kid helping me was not aware of LEOSA exemptions, neither was the supervisor. I left read more

Had a really good experience at Burbank Ammo & Guns. I did a PPT with Alan and he was quick, efficient, and made the whole process easy. Honestly, probably the fastest private party transfer I've ever done. No unnecessary waiting around, quick and efficient from start to finish. Definitely recommend them for firearms and ammo in the Los Angeles area. read more

Had a great experience here. Didn't wait more than a minute before somebody helped me and got everything I was looking for. I was struggling online to get all the parts so I was in and out in no time. Installation was a breeze. Elz is great! read more

Burbank Ammo & Guns - Guns & Ammo Near Me - Burbank, California

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, paired with a good selection of gear and accessories. One of the better shops in the Valley.

Cool little shop, mostly great and informative staff. However, not as many bulk ammo deals compared to other nearby shops. Apart from that, one of the employees (maybe manager?) was a sassy smart a**. Very reclusive with his answers on any ammo questions I had, and basically told me to "look myself". Also the ammo section is just sloppy. 6/10 cause of the singular lame dude at the counter. read more

Owner will give you a price then decide he doesn't want to sell. Bad business. Not recommended.

I drove 40 min to purchase ammo here. My license shows old address so I updated address info and got approved on cfars doj website and I took gas bill as secondary address verification. The guy at the counter who was very not welcoming said utility bill is not acceptable and it must be government issued. I explained to him that I was already approved of address change with doj and I'm only buying ammo. He still said no so I had to just walk out of there. I went to 2 other stores in the area after which both said it's no problem with gas bill to buy ammo. So I ended up buying them at the second store since first store didn't have any 9mm. I'm not sure if the guy didn't know the law or if he was just being racist, but definitely not going back here for anything. read more

I come here regularly to buy guns , ammo and do PPT, hands down the best store in town! The guys here are great and knowledgeable. They have the best prices by far and just a great experience overall. Thank you! read more

Burbank Ammo & Guns is hands-down the best shop to visit. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and makes the whole experience smooth, comfortable, and actually fun. Zero pressure, honest advice, great selection, and solid tips throughout the process. I left feeling completely confident with my purchase. Shoutout to Elz--he's outstanding and helped me from start to finish. Can't say enough positive things about the whole team. They truly are great. Can confidently say I'm a customer for life. Highest recommendation! read more

What a awesome crew of outstanding, wise and very up to date on laws & restrictions, very informative and super friendly, and I;m in a wheelchair and they went out of their way to accommdate me and make me feel so welcome. And don't let me get started on the wide range of selections in arms & ammo and if they don't have what your looking for they will find it, you can trust that. Big Kudos to the entire crew at BGA These Guys are awesome read more

First time buyer. Great service from when I made my order and the professional service of the purchase. Unfortunately when I went to pick up what I had ordered the service was not the best. No need to act smart a** to someone who is a first time buyer. For simply not knowing much about what I ordered and then to make rude comments for me not knowing something. What should have been done differently is just checking what was being picked up and he would have gotten his answer instead of being rude for me not knowing. I will continue to come here only because of the amazing service from the one staff member who helped me make my first purchase. I had gone back after the bad experience and saw the same guy who first helped me. I just now know to make sure I get help from the one individual who helped me the first time I visited this store. Hopefully I do not get help from that one individual who made my pickup a bad experience. I will provide 4 starts for this because of the great service from the individual who helped me with my first purchase. Would have been 5 stars if it was not for that one individual who wanted to be a smart a** with me for simply not knowing something. read more

I love this story. the guys here are super informed, patient and helpful. they have a great selection of hardware and ammo and set me up well. also fixed my red dot when the battery died for free. highly recommend especially if you're a new gun owner. read more

My tio brought me here to purchase my first firearm. Everyone here made me feel comfortable from start to finish by guiding me throughout the process. They described in detail and made me feel confident enough to make informed decisions along the way. For a complete beginner in this field, the effort they made to explain everything is a big reason why I'll be coming back here for any future firearm needs! read more

The prices are ok, not the best but between middle to upper. My complain is the staff and amount of people always in there ( don't know why if the prices aren't that great?) But there was a heavy set African American dude that was kind of a dick. Dude, you don't own the store and you act like we need you or something. Negative, this isn't the only store in Burbank. Go somewhere else.... read more

This is my new favorite store. Everyone there knows what they're doing, and are super efficient and helpful. I must say though, Eric is my go to guy. He really knows his stuff and will put in the extra effort to locate what I need if they don't already have it. (Which is rare because they keep a fantastic inventory for such a small place). I really got the feeling that everyone that works there loves their job which is rare these days. I highly recommend Burbank Ammo & Guns! read more

I went in there looking at a couple of guns, but left early because I couldn't stand the smell of one of the workers it was horrible there's no way no one else noticed I would've loved to stay and look at more guns but the smell man I just couldn't read more

I have been to this store twice - the first time for ammo & the second time I purchased a gun I had my eye on for weeks - a Ruger Redhawk. Before my first visit, I went to a store closer to me - Turner's Outdoorsman. After dealing with the morons they hire (plus the long wait), I looked up some other stores & Burbank Ammo & Guns had the gun I wanted, and a good selection of ammo. And the salesman was patient with me, which took some doing due to my hearing impairment. I'll definitely be doing business there again. read more

The service people were nice however this store does not deliver undetermined and they knew this ahead of time when they were selling me a consignment weapon and all sales are final they do charge you a restocking fee if your clearance from doj comes back undetermined they wasted my time took one month to get rejected and to pay a restocking fee read more

Great spot for bulk ammo and they have a pretty well stocked section. Interactions I've had with staff have been professional and friendly. Selection is a lot bigger than Guns Direct and it can get a bit busy at times. Still worth a stop by for all your 2nd Amendment needs. read more

Good store. Some of the employees just need a better attitude. We are not all gun experts like you.

5 star service by professionals. Whether your a loyal customer or first time they treat everyone with the best knowledge and service!

Great guys I was coming in late and they still allowed me to come in and great prices highly recommend

I went to this place after work to check things out. I was looking for a pistol and some ammo. Despite being very busy for a Saturday afternoon, I was happy with the service I received that day, especially from Minor, who helped me with everything while I was there. When you walk inside the store, it is a quaint place where you walk in, and the firearms are on your left while ammo is on the right in a fenced area. Accessory kiosks line the middle of the store. This place has a great and large selection of rifles and shotguns. They also have new and a small selection of used pistols. Minor helped me out by helping me with advice on ammo for my Desert Eagle, and helped me with looking for my next pistol. Looked at a couple of Benelll shotguns, a used Glock Gen4, and some 1911s. After looking and Minor helping me, I decided on a 1911. The purchasing process was smooth and Minor and I were shooting the s*** talking shop and sharing random funny stories. Very helpful associate and I will definitely go back to this place and only look for my guy Minor. I highly recommend this place! read more

Our family is relocating from California to a red state and needed to legally and safely ship our firearms from one FFL to another. After being coldly dismissed by a gun store near the Van Nuys Airport, who not only refused to ship firearms but also offered no guidance, I was relieved to find Burbank Ammo and Guns. They were helpful, professional, and gladly handled the FFL-to-FFL transfer. The entire staff was friendly and immediately helpful, but special thanks go to Kelly, who manages the transfer service. She was courteous, professional, and proactive in her communication with both me and the receiving FFL. Absolutely outstanding service from Kelly and the team at Burbank Ammo and Guns. If I were staying in California, they would have my repeat business without question. read more

We stopped in Burbank Ammo & Guns last Friday to take our FSC test ($25 and they laminate it for you). I'd studied up during the week and passed with 100%, which I was super stoked about. We were both interested in purchasing the Glock19 and were told they'd be having a sale during Thanksgiving week. We returned the day before Thanksgiving for two! Service has been quick, friendly and efficient each time we visit and they often have many customers. The guys that work here are all really nice and their pricing is very competitive. We were referred here from a friend whose family does a lot of purchasing here. Counting down the remaining days until I pick her up! Extremely thankful for Danny and the entire team here who made our purchases so swift and easy. I'll probably make a few customizations and look forward to those as well. Horrible First-Time Buyer Experience As a first-time gun buyer, I expected Burbank Guns and Ammo to help guide me through the process. Instead, I ran into terrible communication and was blindsided by a 20% restocking fee--for a gun I never even received due to DOJ issues. At no point did they clearly explain that this could happen, and they offered no support or solutions. After looking through prior reviews, this seems to be a common practice! The lack of transparency and customer service was frustrating and disappointing. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and would not recommend this place to any first-time buyers. read more

I've been to a lot of gun stores over the years, but none have matched the experience I had at Burbank Ammo & Guns. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the store's clean layout, well-stocked inventory, and most importantly--the knowledgeable and friendly staff. Whether you're a first-time buyer or a seasoned gun owner, they take the time to answer every question and make sure you leave with exactly what you need. They offer a great selection of firearms, ammo, and accessories at fair prices, and they're always willing to go the extra mile to track something down if they don't have it in stock. Horrible gun store and awful employees. One of the employees was incredibly condescending when he approached me, and talked down to me like I had no reason to be in the store. Awful attitudes and zero customer service skills. Hire better staff and get rid of these employees who think they're too cool to be courteous to customers. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
