2nd 5-star Review:…read more I'm in love with GUNS DIRECT. I LOVE THIS PLACE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I ALWAYS GET HERE. Since my first purchase, I've returned for a rifle with a fixed mag, which I learned before picking up I could have converted to "featureless", so I could use replaceable mags. I asked Ramiro about this, and that's how I learned Ramiro is an armorer, and he walked me through the conversion. He sold me what I later found was the best featureless grip handle on the market, and then he completed the conversion for free with my purchase of the grip handle, and my 2 new replaceable mags. I've really appreciated Ramiro's advice, insights, and the personal experience Ramiro has shared with me , which has all turned out to be valid and true. I have the bruises to prove it. I wanted a KSG. That's how I found GD. Thats how I met Ramiro. He didn't lie to me. He warned me about the recoil on a pump action shotgun like the KSG. I said I'd get used to it. He asked if I was sure. I said "I have to." So not only did he sell me a KSG, he stopped me from getting the scratched unit I was looking at, and got me a blemish-free KSG. As a newbie with no mentor to walk me into this world, I was willing to just buy whatever a knowledgeable salesman would sell me, simply accepting that a scratch was just how firearms sales can sometimes be--but Ramiro didn't let that happen. Ramiro really has been a great guide. He helped me pick my first 9mm--S&W M&P 2.0-and it's such a great firearm. It's solid. Reliable. Accurate. Comfortable. Looks cool. Comes with switchable grips. I bought Trijicon night sights on Amazon, and took over a month to make my way to GD for the install, only to find I had bought sights for the wrong S&W 9mm. Since it had been over 30 days, I couldn't return them, but Ramiro not only found me an alternative option (Ameriglo optic compatible GRM tritium) night sights--but also included the install with the purchase. I love my new Ameriglo night sights on my M&P 2.0 9mm! What a difference. And great bang for your buck. And they are optic-ready sights, so I can add the red dot later on. I appreciated being guided so knowledgeably. I follow Ramiro's lead confidently. And while I was there doing this, Ramiro asks me if I had with me the adapters that came with the streamlight I had on my 9mm, because he was offering to fix the streamlight I improperly installed on my 9mm (which was sticking out too far). I did not have them, so he offered to fix it for me if I just brought the adapters. I really appreciated Ramiro's offer, but more importantly I appreciated him pointing out to me my improper installation. I soon realized I could fix it myself. I've since fixed it, and I have yet again Ramiro to thank. To be clear, every single rep at GD has been helpful and totally professional. I've really appreciated the service I've received. Alonso, Danny, Jerry, Sherri, Alex all super helpful professionals. Alonso and Danny both remembered my name, which is shocking because this place is popular. I love love love Guns Direct. My gun shop for life! I already have my eye on two more firearms, and Jerry even has me thinking about a revolver. And Ramiro makes me want a semiautomatic shotgun. I love it!

This will try to be a short review on LA Firearms Supplies. All the employees exceeded the customer service that you would expect to receive from a Seller to their Customers. The Owner of LA Firearms Supplies (Edgar) was extremely helpful and competent with the Firearms that a Customer would be interested in, and all his employees that I met had the same competence and helpfulness to their customers. I got to tell you I have visited several Gun Shops here in Burbank but LA Firearm Supplies is by far the best. The other shops were ok but weren't near and helpful, patient, knowledgeable and most of all made me feel welcome. The 2 employees that deserve a special shout out is Anthony & Angel. These guys are the ones that had taken the time to show me the 3 guns I purchased from here and when my California 30 day waiting period is over I will be back to purchase my 4th gun that they put on hold for me. Worst experience at any gun store I've been to. Do not trust them with your gun…read more Their communication is horrible. Their records often inaccurate. The gun smith says one thing -- their shop sales person another -- their manager a third. I initially had them set to work on a Nighthawk custom 1911. Simple job adding an RMR optic. When I realized it would void the warranty, I went into the store and asked them to ship the gun to nighthawk. They confirmed no work had taken place and they would send it. 3 visits later + several phone calls and emails -- it took them 2.5 months to mail the gun. Eventually, with me having to handle it. 2.5 months. To ship something. Nothing unstandard. Each time I'd visit or call they'd say they had it under control. One of the times I called in, they informed me that they had finished cutting the optic into the guns slide. Which is exactly what I asked them not to do, since it would void the lifetime warranty. Luckily their computer system is so bad and their communication so inaccurate that it turned out they were wrong - they hadn't worked on the gun. and it still hadn't shipped. Then after waiting 2.5 months to send the gun - Nighthawk receives it, and notes that the gun wasn't shipped with my Trijicon RMR. Again -- now I'm waiting for the RMR to ship in. On april 24th the manager Will said he would send it. I confirmed and sent him an email. No response. Finally following up yet again, I see he put it in the mail a week after my request. Followed up again to get tracking. Avoid them at all costs. Total clowns. No apologies for their horrible service on the phone. Excuses and BS. Told me the original gun smith wasn't at the company anymore -- but that doesn't excuse the timeline, lack of communication, or bad service.

They also carry affordable rounds as well as difficult to find calibers and match ammos.

I've enjoyed shooting at Angeles Shooting Ranges over the years, which is why this experience was…read moreso disappointing. The range officer, James, was rude, unprofessional, and used profanity while interacting with customers. There is no excuse for treating paying customers that way. After my target frame broke while I was shooting, James ordered me to retrieve the broken frame. I complied, but afterward I reviewed the posted range rules and could not find any rule stating that customers are responsible for retrieving broken target frames. My issue isn't with following reasonable instructions--it's with being spoken to disrespectfully and being expected to follow what appeared to be an unwritten policy. If retrieving broken target frames is an official requirement, management should clearly post it instead of leaving customers to be confronted over it. After reading other reviews, I noticed multiple customers describing similar experiences with the same range officer. It makes me wonder whether customer feedback is actually taken seriously, because the same complaints seem to have been raised repeatedly. Safety is critical at any shooting range, but professionalism and respect are just as important. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and addresses both the behavior of its staff and the lack of clear communication regarding this policy.
