This place is the best. There are two areas in which I never compromise on quality: firearms and motorcycles. In either case poor quality parts and workmanship can result in injury or worse. Phil built my rifle from parts I ordered and it operates flawlessly. He made recommendations for parts to get for the build and I ordered them without question. Over the years he has added mods and has made adjustments that continue to improve functionality, appearance, and accuracy. His skill as a gunsmith is such that I would not trust my stuff to anyone else. The quality of his builds and craftsmanship are worth every cent and the turnaround is reasonable. He is also an invaluable wealth of knowledge when it comes to anything regarding firearms and firearms repair. He is my go-to guy whenever I have a question or need a recommendation. If you ever need a purchase transferred I believe they are also FFL certified and can assist with purchase transfers. Full-service at its best. Additionally, he will Cerakote anything you need that can be Cerakoted. I needed custom paint on some Hella Sharptone horns to add to my Triumph Bonneville and LAC did excellent work. I felt that regular paint would be too delicate, so Phil and Co did a beautiful job with the color and application to get the horns to integrate with the colors on the moto. My girl feels a lot better knowing I trashed the puny stock horn in favor of these 90 dB dual blasts on the LA streets, and I feel a lot better knowing they integrate well with the color scheme and don't make my bike look like an amateur rat build. They are definitely a busy shop, but the reasons are clear: these guys live for their work and their customers know it, which is why I will keep coming back! read more

The man-child at the front desk is an insufferable little boy. It's my first time walking in and the guy at the front desk goes off on some conversation about how the last customer he just helped out was upset because he couldn't get with a girl that this manchild was seeing, I really didn't care at all what he had to say, but he decided to show me a bunch of girls Instagram that he was "supposedly" sleeping with. I don't know if it was his first time finally getting with a girl in his life or something but dudes don't just tell people about a girl they're sleeping with more or less if its with a stranger. I just wanted my gun cerakoted so I told him the colors that I wanted my gun to be and got down to business. Some time goes by and my gun gets cerakoted but in the process, the gunsmith ended up breaking my front sight post on my handgun. I have no issue with this so long as they decided to replace the sight which the manchild at the front said that he would. When I came to pick up the repaired sight that they had ordered for me, it wasn't the exact match that fit the gun. I noticed that the sites weren't the same height as the one I originally had, so I asked for a receipt so I could find out what he put on my gun and he wouldn't provide it to me and said he didn't have a receipt. I go and shoot my gun and I find out that all my shots are going high. I fond out the sight they installed was an Ameriglow. At the time of this writing, Ameriglow doesn't make sights for the Springfield Echelon. I called the store to tell them that my shots were off and they were high and that has to deal with the front sight that they put on my handgun. Over the phone I could tell that this little man pig child was giving me attitude over the phone, cutting me off and told me to just come in and he would reimburse me which overall I do appreciate that they reimbursed me, but that's only right and I would only expect that. I didn't want them touching my gun anymore so I went to another gunsmith to exchange out the new site that I had bought. When I went over to the store to return the site that they had gave me and wasn't good for my handgun, the little boy man-child at the front desk still decided to cut me off and be rude to me as if it's my fault and I don't know what I'm talking about. First he told me he ordered the sight off the Springfield Website, but an Ameriglow is on my gun? This guy makes no sense. I was able to get my refund but again that's something that I fully expect, otherwise it's just plain robbery. Honest to God never coming back here nor I suggest anybody else come here and do your business with somebody who's actually more gun professional, and has a better head on their shoulders. I can't say anything about the gunsmith or anybody else that works in the back as I've never met them, but the fat retard that sits at the front is an absolute nightmare and I hope you see this too. I was greeted and asked what I'd be interested in. I told them what I had and they inspected it, while essentially mocking me for bringing my gun in the state it was. This gun was given to me and had been neglected for a long time. After they were done inspecting it, they called it a "rust bucket" and recommended a cerakote refinish. Long story short, we had to transfer ownership of my guns to my wife, in order to do so, she needed to pass the FSC. I called several traditional gun stores and they all said the same thing, "We only do that for people planning on purchasing a firearm through us." There are really not enough words to express just how impressed I am with the work that I had done but I will try my best. Let's start with the owner, Phil, you are truly a master of the art. Super nice guy, very knowledgeable, answered every single question I had and you can tell the man really puts his heart into his work and is willing to go that extra mile. I brought my m&p shield 9mm in because I previously had it gold plated and the plating was starting to wear off. I was a bit worried that because of this something was bound to go wrong specially because I really didn't know much about cerakoting other than it has become the new trend with firearms. Phil walked me through the whole process of how he does things and put my mind at ease. He recommended that I upgrade my sights because they were also gold plated and it would pretty much cost the same for new ones as it would to make the old ones look new so I took his advice and got myself some tritium sights which he installed for me as a bonus. He went over the color choices with me which are pretty much endless and I finally picked out the colors that would make me happy. A few days later I had a change of heart with one of the colors I had chosen so I called him up and asked if he had already begun painting the gun and luckily he was getting ready to paint it that day. Over the phone he guided me and helped me pick a new color. Anyways the whole process took about a week and a half and I have fallen in love with my gun all over again. The job is absolutely flawless and better than I could have ever dreamt of it being and at such a reasonable price. When I had bought my sights I had also picked up a flashlight laser combo for the firearm and was struggling to figure out how to get it on, Phil also took care of that for me which he didn't have to do but it just shows how helpful he really is. Amazing place to get engine parts coated!! I had my OEM valve covers done and couldn't believe how nice they came out. Cerakote is the only way to go... better looking and stronger than the old style powder coating, which looks like spray paint in comparison. Where do I begin?! I took my golf clubs to Los Angeles Cerakote hoping to give them a fresh makeover for the summer. Phil gladly took on the project and quickly began sketching a design. We settled on my putter shaft being done burnt bronze and the head gloss black. The rest of the shafts on the irons were done flat black. I brought Phil two rifles, my son's new Ruger 10-22 and and a very old, pitted and worn .22 that had been hiding in the attic for over 30 years. On the Ruger, Phil changed out the standard stock for a new one and then applied a customized color scheme and camo pattern that my son loves. On the old 22, Phil cleaned up the stock, took the pitting out of the barrel and then applied an awesome two-tone brass and black cerakote to all the metal parts. Both guns look gorgeous and draw tons of admiring compliments when we have them on ranges. Evan as common as a 10-22 is, the rifle looks completely customized and one of a kind. I've been trying to replace my A2 flash hider with a compensator for quite some time, I tried doing it at home but didn't have to proper tools to make it happen.
