Unfortunately I had to. I had such a headache of an experience when I was trying to book a birthday back in March. The kids who work the actual grounds told me one thing, but when I attempted to book I was told something else. I thought we were able to pick one field and play on that field the whole time we paid to play. Which is initially what I wanted to do because we had a large party with small children. my hope was to have picked the safest field. But when we arrived at the field, there were a bunch of other parties and I was told we were going to rotate the fields. we didn't have a person specifically dedicated to our party to help coordinate things more smoothly. I paid to have the picnic area specifically for my group. When we arrived, there was no instruction or direction for our guests. Everyone had to call me the birthday mom to figure out where to go. And that's a lot when there's a large party. Before when you get there, there is a long process of getting equipment and getting a lesson on how to use the guns. There is no organization. It literally was first come first serve when it came to getting your equipment. The worst part for me , I spent a lot of money for my son to have a really nice birthday party here, we began to play our second game on the first field we were on, and as I'm going between one barricade to the next, there was a pothole that my foot wow headed over to safety slipped in. My body twisted one my leg the other.. I immediately fell to the ground screaming in excruciating pain. it took about 3 to 4 minutes for the staff to find me on the ground and blow the whistle to the game. I tried to drag myself along. I could feel that my ankle area felt like a bag of marbles. I feel and wiggle my toes, but I had to drag it, and it was extremely painful.. I could hear the staff on their walkie-talkies talking to the manager that day . He was not a nice person at all. His first reaction to me being injured on the field was to not stop the games because in his words, he was not about to stop everyone from playing because someone got a sprain. The poor kid who was on the field, who found me and was notifying the manager had to keep telling him, "no bro she can't move. No, I can see it it's broken." The kid had to haggle and go back-and-forth with the manager for way too long before the manager took it seriously. He was very adamant to refuse to shut down. He was trying to get them to pick me up and take me off the field. I screamed at them and I don't know how to do it. They had to call the ambulance. When the ambulance got there, they had to cut my shoe off and give me morphine on site before attempting to pick up and take immediately to the hospital. This happened back in March . I understand that I signed a waiver of liability, but that does not excuse this particular company, not ensuring that the play fields are safe to play on in the first place. Which clearly that day it was not . I could not have prevented myself from falling in that pothole. And it's very evident and clear that these grounds are checked/cleaned/cleared for safety. And now here I am a $4000 hospital bill later finally writing this review. This was not some small deal, I broke my tibia in two places. Was down for four months in the bed unable to walk. And now I'm learning to walk again on the leg and have a rod and screws in it.. It's really disappointing that this paintball parks management didn't even reach out to see if I was OK. They were quick that day to make sure to bug one of my guest once I left to get paid. I spent about $1000. No well check, no check to see if my group had a good time nothing. So I would be remiss to not be thinking about suing. Since they didn't take the time and effort to care or show that they cared about the safety of the field and about me as a guest injured on their field. Again, understanding that I signed a waiver that waiver does not excuse the company from ensuring that the grounds are safe. I'd find another place to play. Someplace with more adults working, and someplace where you're not just a credit card swipe. read more

First timer at CPP for me. Played elsewhere - both airsoft and paintball and I've always had a blast - just like I did yesterday. For starters, if you're using the Yelp app - use GPS and follow the signs. Just know you're not driving on paved roads but it's not like you need a 4x4. Private party or not, get there early. I'd recommend about an hour before your start time. Also, sign the waiver online. It'll save you and your group some time. I heard you can rent equipment - as for cost, I can't say as our group (private party) had everything included in the cost; including a face mask. Which you get to keep. They're new so they may be a little tight - something to think about if you're contemplating bringing your own - that's already broken in. Our ref covered the rules - most important, masks to be worn, period. Not just for safety - think Covid. Not to mention, some of the maps are adjacent to one another meaning some of the paintballs could come your way. Bring a change of clothes as the terrain isn't all turf and or grass. Most were dirt - meaning if you're kneeling or prone, you're not leaving clean. Also know, the facilities are porta-potties. If there were actual bathrooms, I didn't see them. I also didn't ask. Or just change in your car. If you're new, opt for the private party so you're not overwhelmed with the open games. Had a great experience! read more

I called and found out that they're ONLY open every other 3rd friday of the month and on the website it does NOT show any of that information for the public to see it only shows that the park is OPEN from 5-10pm. My kid decided he wanted to play paintball... He went out and bought a paintball gun and all the needed gear to get him started. We are from the San Fernando Valley and heard about Combat through a friend. Last Saturday we decided to do it. It was a full days event and SOOOOO worth it. My kid and boyfriend had a blast. Everyone was so helpful from the initial check in and throughout the day. Josh P. was our host for the day and he was GREAT and I cant say enough about him. He definitely made the first paintball experience so worth it. I especially loved the sitting area up at the top of the steps. I was able to watch and relax while everyone was playing.. We bought a Groupon for 6 of us and this place is amazing!! They gave equipment to purchase. The Groupon includes vests there were 4 first timers in my group and they did a great job explaining rules, safety and how to play the games. We were able to buy new masks and keep them when we left. They didn't fog up or anything. They separated groups well (people with custom guns played with each other and rentals would play with each other). My son followed all of their rules. He asked to go behind the fence to remove his mask, as per the rules. As a result our entire group was banned for the whole day. I would love to give this place a better score because the kids have so much and staff is great for the most part. I've had and attended multiple private events here for kids birthdays, however it is progressively becoming an unsafe/unfriendly environment for children/kids. People openly smoke marijuana, consume large amounts of alcohol throughout the area and have no consideration if children are around. Combat Is My Favorite Paintball Park Combat Paintball Park (CPP) is my favorite because of everything it has. All of the park staff is super friendly and will assist you if you may need it. The park has 2 air stations so usually none to a very little wait time (maybe 1 minute max wait) for air when you need it. The 4500 air station side fills to 4000 and the 3000 fills to 2500 which I like for safety reasons so careless people do not overfill. The park usually will split self-equip walk on and renters walk on. Doing so allows more experienced players not to get team killed by renters and it also alleviates the pressure for the renters when you hear rapid gun fire approaching. No self-equip walk on can join renters but any renter that would like a more challenging experience can join self-equip games. The maps are great to play on. They are fun and have nice angles which can benefit experienced players who can take advantage of the cover by exploiting a quick wrap around and help newcomers by providing more covers to run to. If you reserve a private group you will have a personal referee the aid you group off field if you need it and will always be the only referee on field for you group. This allows you to have a more personalized experience and if you invited someone who has a tendency to cheat the referee will most likely keep more of an eye on the individual :). Another benefit of reserving a private group is that you can chose any map to play on. If you really like a specific map you can play it as many times as you want the whole day, no mandatory map switches. Safety is their main priority! When off the field, there is absolutely no firing and barrel covers must be on. When getting on the field, mask must always be on until you get off field. If you take off your mask while on the field they usually run a 3 strike system. 1 strike - warning , 2 strike - 1 game suspension, 3 strike - no more playing. This can slightly change but that's just a general rule when they ref so do not take off you mask when on the field please! The airball field here is super nice. They clean it after every weekend when used and all the bunkers are perfectly placed since they added a grid to the field. In order to play airball you have to RSVP on their FaceBook group "Combat Paintball Park - Airball Arena". Only 1 person on your team needs to RSVP but at least 5 players per team must show up. Be prepared because of you are a newer team, a lot of more experienced teams also come here from time to time which would be good practice but very difficult. Overall this is my personal absolute favorite park to play on! :) read more

First time at this field, and will say never coming back. Had a group reservation for 1:00, though 9 of us would get here early to check out fields. Took us about 1hr to check in because a few didn't have gear. Seemed as if there was a shortage on staff/ refs as they were only using one field at a time and maybe 1 game every 45 min. (Before we got on field a ref told everyone to put on there covid masks because management was walking around?) funny. We were walking on to the field for our first game as my son lifted up his mask to adjust something as these are non fog masks That the company makes you buy due to covid, and it was fogging up, as a ref tells him he's kicked off the field for not obeying the rules. I was like wtf, no one said anything about you would be kicked off if you raise your face mask? So I requested to talk to management. Me and my group walked off the field, and began speaking to two female employees. They explained that we were kicked off and had to leave for the day. Wow really. I asked for a refund as we didn't even play 1 game yet and my group paid over $500. They said there was nothing they can do. We signed the waiver. I requested owner or someone higher info and they said they can't give me anything and no one was there to talk too. I explained this is totally wrong, and refused to leave if not able to resolve this matter. The one lady stated fine will call the police. 5 min later a man walked up with the 2 employees and was the owner! Omg was I lied too? Explained the whole situation to owner, as well as we had another group reservation at 1, and how this was unfair. Owner said this should of all been explained in orientation. I asked when is this? He stated when you pick up your items. We never had an orientation. No one explain any of the rules to us. So he went back and spoke to the employees, and they stated they gave us an orientation. A complete lie. I asked him to verify the cameras as where we went to pick up the items there was a camera focus directly on our group. The owner stated that he would have to review cameras at office, but said he would give us a compromise to not play in the free-for-all but that we would be able to play with are group. We excepted this as it still was unfair and a waste of time and had to wait an hour until our group would start at 1. He did state that the money that we used in the morning would be transferred over to the group. For our group event the rep was excellent and we had a great time. Note: fields are too close together as there is cross fire from other fields. read more
