The team is exceptionally capable with moving large and heavy furniture, including handling tight corners and managing stairs. But candidly, that's table stakes and not what sets them apart. When Mr C arrived with his team, they placed runners on the floors across the house and covered doors with blankets before I even said a word, demonstrating a level of care and respect for our space that exceeds any standard in the industry. Their work ethic is also insane. Mr C's team was unboxing/moving furniture within the first five minutes of arriving. They operated quickly, intentionally, and carefully. Mr C and team transformed the mundane and arduous task of moving into an artful and carefully orchestrated ballet. My move in particular was quite big, and I worked with a couple other local Tahoe moving companies in the area - all more expensive, more highly recommended, etc, etc. Nothing compares to Mr C and his team - and I wish I had found him sooner. I'll close with a thoughtful comment on the owner Mr C. Mr C is a true professional that cares about his craft, company, team, and customers. You'll be hard pressed to find someone kinder or more considerate of your needs. If you need help in the broader Tahoe/Reno/NorCal area, don't think twice.

When questioned, I was told that Doug is usually always on target). BE CAREFUL when considering hiring Tahoe Moving and Storage.

Two days before, our realtor recommended we contact Rob and he and Sam were available to meet our schedule exactly. They did a superb job in getting us loaded in the time agreed and for the fee agreed. Upon unloading at our destination, there was no discernible damage to our goods. I would highly recommend Rob and White Glove. They may cost more than day laborers, but their skill and efficiency is well worth the extra expense. Don't take a chance - go with the experts.

We saw good recommendations for Rob on Yelp but when he moved our belongings into the storage unit,…read morehe made a huge mess of it. We booked it about two months in advance but he would not come and look at things again. We actually sold our living room furniture and futon. He did not listen to what we said and put all the boxes in first, including the ones we had marked with red dots. Red dots signified that we needed access at the front of the storage unit. He then jammed all of our furniture and tools on top of the boxes. We had to pay someone to come help us sort it out so we could find anything. Look at the pictures and you'll think twice about using them to move into a storage unit. It has taken me a while to post this because I don't want to have him nagging me.

In our younger days we would have moved it ourselves, But we're in our 60's now and thought we should hire someone to move it for us especially since it had to be tipped back pretty far to get it out of the front garage. I spoke to David to set up the move. He and I agreed to a price and a couple of other items that I wanted moved. We set a day and time. He called me the day before to confirm the day and time. Then on the day we'd agreed to he called early and asked if he could send his guys over early to move the Vino Temp. I agreed to have them come over early. The guys moved the Veno Temp, a couch and chair very quickly and efficiently. They did a great job!! I highly recommend using them. Very professional and personable as well! They were flexible with my timing as I was coming into town in a friend's truck and he needed to be back on the road before the next snowstorm came. The team came out pretty much exactly as our truck was arriving and they began unloading. Most of the boxes were placed in the correct room as they did have stickers on them which I got from Amazon and I highly recommend as it's so much faster than writing But I was mainly pleased that they were able to accommodate my four hour timeframe as I was not exactly sure when we were arriving due to road closures from rock slides and weather that seems to always arise inbound to Southlake Tahoe. Pressing not out of the ordinary for the area and as far as I'm concerned anyone who will come and lift things helping me avoid further sciatica damage are worthy of the rate they charge. It was a little hard to get the forms filled out that they needed in order to initiate service being that I was moving all of my computers were packed up in a truck and filling everything out from the app while I was driving was a bit challenging. This is an overall review of U-Pack and my full experience but I have information included about…read morehow dealing with the facility in Sparks specifically went as well :) First: I WOULD use them again, because of the price. I only paid $860 to move my stuff from Oregon to Reno. There was only one issue that came up, but I'll get to it. Also worth noting that when I was requesting my trailer, I was under the assumption they provided the loading/unloading help because it's an option on their site and when selected, the price is added, however these are just estimates and you will have to schedule this yourself. I was going through it pretty quick, so that's probably why I was confused, but important to keep in mind. They dropped a trailer off at my home in Oregon within 3 days of requesting one, a Wednesday. I was able to get help with loading from Moving Staffers (the company they recommend) the day after that (Thursday), then on Friday a driver from U-Pack picked the trailer up. So that all moved pretty fast. I received no updates after this. I was checking daily on my moving dashboard on their site to see if/when I'd get an updated arrival estimate but my tracking never moved from "Picked Up". I had a lot going on so I didn't bother calling until the day of my estimated arrival (I really should have done so sooner) and that's when I learned someone input my information in wrong (or something) and that was what prevented me from receiving any updates. My shipment had actually already made it to their facility in Sparks by this time and I didn't even get a call. I didn't ask how long it's been there because I almost didn't want to know because I didn't want to get frustrated about it. If you find yourself in a similar situation (not receiving ANY updates), call them sooner than I did!! Unfortunately the apartment I have been moving into has absolutely no room for a trailer to sit overnight so instead I had to find some local movers to go to the Sparks facility with me to unload my U-Pack trailer, load their trailer, then take to my apartment. I had originally paid for Door-To-Door delivery but U-Pack refunded me when I told them I had to do it this way instead :) 12/6/19: My experience at the Sparks facility was pleasant. I had to go into the office to sign some papers and when I was doing that they got my trailer out to be ready for when my movers arrived. Everyone was friendly and on top of everything. Also worth noting I only ended up using 4 feet in the trailer, so they also refunded me for the length I had originally paid for and didn't use. On their site they say their minimum is 5ft, but I actually paid for 6ft, so I think that's their new minimum. Still, not going to make a big deal about that when I already saved so much money by using them. I was getting other quotes from $3500 and up for the same move. If you can load and unload your trailer yourself, you'll save even more. I honestly spent more on help loading and unloading then I did on U-Pack so I recommend it if you have the ability and willingness to do so. But, overall, I still saved more than I would have if I went with another moving company. I also have to mention that every time I DID call U-Pack with questions, I've always talked to the nicest employees. Even if there was a mess up with my paperwork at some point, everyone was super helpful and friendly. I would use this service again and recommend to my friends and family if they are trying to save money while moving.
