Loved the quiet and relaxing atmosphere! Everyone was so nice! Definitely recommend going here if you need a place to unwind!

I got a pedicure (still sitting there while typing this) and it was mediocre at best. The decor is tacky with green walls and wicker chairs. The person doing the pedicure doesn't seem interested in her job and hardly spoke a word during the whole appointment. I got the classic pedicure and it took 30 min with 10 mins of her working on my feet and the rest of the time for nail paint drying. 10 mins of actual procedure seems shorter than an express pedicure at the airport. I was told it will take 1 hour for the nail pant to dry and was chided for not wearing flip flops to the appointment. I would suggest finding a different place if you are looking to pamper yourself. read more

The front desk person was very professional and courteous (tbh quite a departure from previous years), and Lisa who was the massage therapist assigned to me was incredible! Looking forward to returning soon! read more

My mom and I came in for massages and left feeling renewed and relaxed. The facility was clean and they did a great job of enforcing social distancing without interfering with the relaxing ambiance. read more

The entire experience was great. Both ladies very professional and friendly. Facility was clean and more than adequate for COVID-19

My massage therapist, Teri, was good, but the rest of the experience left much to be desired. 1. Limited Spa Snacks : If I'm spending $149 for a service, I don't expect to be charged an additional $1.09 for a bag of almonds. And hot water for the tea would have been appreciated. 2. Locker Room Attendant? : Or at least pick up after your clients on a regular basis? The locker room is small and previous clients couldn't figure out how to dispose of their bathrobes and slippers in the bins - or maybe they just figured what's the point because the bins are overflowing? 3. Clogged Shower Drain - which shouldn't be my problem : The drain in the first shower was draining really slowly. I reported the clog to the desk attendant, who said that someone complained about the drain yesterday (!) and she asked me if it looked like there was hair in the drain. Ummm...I already have a house to maintain, but thank you for asking. read more

Wonderful services & relaxing spa! I haven't had a massage or facial since Covid started, but decided to give Truce a try. Lovely spa with great ambiance. All Covid guidelines were strictly followed. Everyone there was friendly and offered great service! I'm so glad I went and will certainly come back soon! read more

Lisa was very sweet and did such amazing work! I've had many massages in my life and this by far was the best one I ever had. She massaged my arms which I never get at other massages and always ask for! Also, this location makes it very easy to get to without walking far where most hotels will make you walk super far to get to. read more

I came with a friend today and we did the weekday special. I had a fabulous facial along with the coconut milk scalp massage, highly recommend . I also had a pedicure that left my feet feeling rejuvenated and beautiful. read more

Very safe. Very clean. Lisa was incredible. Best massage of my life. I cannot wait to be able to come back and see her!

Laura gave me one of the best facials I've ever had. She was so kind and knowledgeable about the product she was using. She really has your best skin goals in mind and makes you feel so important during your time with her. 11/10 read more

The service we had was great but the amenities at the spa and the support staff were not what we expected. Was not clear what else we could use or that we would be charged for snacks. The complimentary wine seemed like we were putting them out. My massage therapist was fabulous, only reason I would go back. read more

I had a great experience. The massage, facial, and overall atmosphere was very relaxing. I will definitely book another visit.

I called to make an appointment next day. Even though, at first, they didn't have the time slot I wanted, they accommodated me anyway and made it happen. I had a great massage, oils and scrub at a great price. I'm coming back to Bellevue in February and going to do this again while I'm there. read more

Terrible experience. We received a voucher from a friend but the service received was average. The robes were too short. The men's change room had, first, no robes and (when we had to go back mid service due to service being a wrap then massage), there were no towels in men's change room and nothing to stop hair getting wet (shower hat or something) in the womens change room. They also did a weird "candle lighting ceremony" before the service started to "set the mood". My husband and I nearly burst into laughter at this and it's the first time I've ever heard of this in a spa. Service was very average - I've had a a better massage/experience at my chiropracter's office even 'though they don't have the spa additions (robes, etc). I would not return to this spa given how many lovely spas there are in Seattle that truly make people feel pampered and give a true escape (Pro Club, Avida Wellness, Nordstrom downtown, Gene Juarez, just to name a few). Having uncomfortable robes, average thereapists and no towels/robes when changing is just not what you expect of a Westin hotel (even if the spa and hotel aren't associated as I later found out) it's in the Westin so you expect Westin quality. The Truce Spa in the Bellevue Westin is letting down the Westin name/experience - BADLY! read more

Let me start with that I got a amazon local deal and did not pay full price. Also, I have been here before for a facial (was fine), but never a mani/pedi. The pedi took forever and wasn't exactly relaxing. The massage was 'meh' - she rubbed in the lotion. But she was going to town, trimming my toes. It took forever and it hurt! She ignored me the first few times I said 'ow' and then I jerked back and said ouch!. She giggled and said sorry. My big toe is extremely tender today and I will probably put Neosporin on when I get home - just in case. The manicure was alright. Seems to be an cheaper product though as I've already got a small chip. The finished product is okay, but not worth the time, money or pain. If you want a true spa experience there is a good one elsewhere in Bellevue. But if you just want a good mani/pedi, there are a million other, cheaper options. Oh, and I didn't get my wine that should've come with the deal. The front desk person asked if I wanted something to drink when she showed me to the bathroom. I said no, she showed me a table of tea/water. Figured the wine would come once the mani/pedi started. Was too concerned about my toe bleeding to ask for it later on. read more

Lisa (I know I'm spelling that wrong), was amazing. She went way out of her way to adjust the treatment to match my skin type. I will definitely see her again, and will recommend her services to everyone. My face hasn't felt/looked this way in decades. read more

I had been looking forward to this appointment for a long time. I figured, any spa in the Westin will be a wonderful experience. The staff were all delightful and very nice. The ambiance was fine but I might have been expecting a little bit more there. The 1 hour full body massage was ... good. To be honest, nothing stood out for me good nor bad with Truce. I'd probably pick another favorite spa to go to next time when in need of a relaxation massage again. As the rating says, Truce was A-OK for me :) read more

During our stay at the Westin (where Truce is located) for my daughter's birthday, I surprised my husband with a Bamboo Fusion massage appointment at Truce. He'd been a remarkable trooper, traipsing around Bellevue Square with three teens and me for a few hours, and I could see he needed some pampering... right *now*... so I made the call and sent him on his way. Never having visited Truce myself, I had my fingers crossed that it would be a great experience for him. His appointment was with Amber... whose name I heard no less than a half-dozen times before the evening was over. From the first text I received from him when the massage was finished - it said, simply, "Wow" - until he fell asleep hours later, he was in relaxation Nirvana. He was *impressed*. Today, when I told him I was Yelping about his experience, he said he'd actually told Amber she was very possibly his fourth favorite woman (behind my daughters and I)... and moving up fast. Guess I'd better get my hands on some bamboo. :) A+, gold star, Truce. Next time, it's my turn. :) read more

I was so excited for my spa day at Truce. I was early, but the ladies who greeted me were nice to let me lounge as I wait. The lounge room is very relaxing. Dim lights, comfy chairs, sound of running river water- the whole ambiance. She offered me tea as I wait. My massage person came after a couple minutes. Massage room has dim lighting & heated bed-very relaxing. I requested for the Tropical Escape. I choose the coconut lotion from the 4. Downhill from here... Her hands were cold, and the lotion does not help. She decided to put a hot towel on my back when I complained. It didnt really help since, it got cold again after she took the hot towel. Not once did she ask if the pressure was ok. When I requested for more pressure, my back felt like breaking. There was no happy medium. After awhile I heard noise outside the room. It wasnt loud, but you dont expect to hear chatting outside your massage room. Overall, amazing location, great ambiance, parking on location (Lincoln Square) but I will not pay full price for their service. I'm glad I had a voucher from Travelzoo. I'm disappointed with the service, but the location still gets 2 stars. read more

The spa is potentially spreading covid- they did not take ours or anybody's temperature before entering and the women's locker room had too many people in it. There were 6 plus people in there at one time. The lockers are all too close. Women were all in each other's way trying to get into their lockers. There's no privacy in the locker room to change. There were women literally standing along the wall staring watching me when I was trying to undress and when getting dressed because the space is so small and they were waiting for me to get out of the way of their lockers. I would never go to that spa ever again. People should have the option of changing their clothes in the massage room. There was no reason I needed to undress before going into my massage room. The material of the robes you use are not comfortable and crappy. And my robe had an inside strap missing so I couldn't even fully secure the robe onto my body. When I and other customers told the front desk that there were too many people in the locker room your staff told us what days are your "slow" days if we wanted to come when it's not busy. You should NOT have that many people in there at one time no matter what day it is. You guys should be shut down for not being careful not to spread covid. read more

Ok, this is not a particularly fair review since I have not received a treatment, yet, but is based purely on my impression after talking with their receptionist. Like someone else said earlier, it is true that if you have a discount deal they're going to tell you the next available appointment is 2+ months away. The first thing they ask is "is this a travelzoo or groupon?" (they might be able to tell by my phone number if I've bought any deals). I have not tried this myself, but if you wanted to get in earlier than 2+ months, you might want try saying you don't have a voucher. The receptionist told me they don't hold a certain number of spaces for hotel guests, but I can't really picture them telling a hotel guest, "Um, our next available appointment would be January" when it's still October. If I end up getting a treatment next year from them, I will revise my review accordingly. I'm sure the facility is beautiful and treatments are good. read more

We were staying at the Westin Bellevue for a quick weekend away, so we chose Truce Spa for a standard massage. I'd been before and enjoyed my massage, so I figured it wouldn't be too bad. Pros: the massage and therapist were pleasant and you can choose your own lotion scent. Cons: the robes are a bit short (and my husband and I are both less than 5'8"), and you feel like you might flash someone in the waiting room; the cost (two 60-minute massages ended up being more than $200); no sound-proof walls/doors (I listened to the guy next to my room organize glasses and dishes for 15 minutes). Like other people have said, nothing really stood out, it didn't feel really luxurious for the cost, and the lack of sound-proofing really sucked. I would return if someone else was paying for it, but I probably would put my own $$ elsewhere for more massage! read more

Nice massage and good environment. I came in the weekend and it was empty . They had real high end spa amenities without the price

I had a similar experience to Andrew R. I bought a groupon, I called in and the earliest appointment for a "Groupon Person" was 4 weeks out. THIS HAS TO BE AGAINST GROUPON RULES AND FAIR PRACTICES!! I tried looking up the business registration after several attempts I can't find anything under Truce, Truce Spa etc. in the entire state of Washington. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? If you also haven't noticed they never respond to any of the negative comments on here, which really shows a business that doesn't care. I will be emailing groupon, livingsocial and travelzoo to take immediate action against this business for their practices. read more

My daughter bought a $400 spa package for me for Christmas . So the morning after we went there and it was a nightmare for me ! Starting with no temperature screening and then my locker was broken . I believe the locker was not Sanitize after used cause I found a headband in my locker . Then I was assign to a different locker not sure if it's has been clean or not . The spa so below standard expectations thinking wow , this is the Westin Hotel right ? Well to find out later the Westin just rented the space to them but they have nothing to do with the spa . Well that explains everything. I didn't fells safe the person that help me didn't speak a word of English and also wasn't wearing the n95 mask nor a facesheild. This is a requirement but they didn't follow guild line at all . It is not safe to go here and I think management needs improvement . I give this place 0 star . read more

I've been to Truce twice and I am giving them 3.5 stars, rounding to 4 stars. I will say that this place is absolutely great for facials! I will definitely be returning back for another facial in January 2013. However, on the other hand.... I have had a manicure here and honestly, please go elsewhere. Definitely not worth the money. I had shellac done on my nail and by the third day it was practically pealing off, not to mention that it was chunky on the ridge of my nails. I have had shellac done at a nail parlor in the past & expected a lot more from a spa. Also, I'm not exactly sure how experienced my nail technician really was. My twin's nail technician seemed a lot more experienced, however her nails weren't too much better than mine. One downfall about this place is the location. This spa is located inside the Westin and not really the most easiest place to get to. You have to take the escalators up pass the ballrooms? and then take the elevator up to the fourth floor - BTW, there are no signs directing you there - I had to ask someone for directions. But like I said, I would return for facials and possibly a massage in the near future. Will update about massages from Truce. read more

Setting my appt was simple & the Gal was very friendly! Check in was a breeze as well! Robe & slides were very comfy. The lounge area & lemon water were very relaxing. My Therapist was THE BEST EVER!! She made sure I was relaxed, comfortable, informed of what was going on, where she can feel tension, & made me feel refreshed. It was an amazing Bday gift.. but my Husband doesn't know what he has gotten himself into lol!! I'll definitely be coming back for the same treatment w/the same Therapist soon! read more

Trying this out via Living Socials Deal for an anniversary. and its was a good experience. nothing really stood out about the experience either. the staff is very friendly. the ambiance was nice and quite but not quite themed or special. walking down halls of basic decor... and even the couples massage room was nothing special. just a small room with two massage beds, a sink, and a towel warmer. the music was relaxing but the squeaky a/c fan on the ceiling was a bit of a killer. after the massages - we got a mani and pedi and even that room had a very basic salon feel. even the workers were vietnamese just like every other nail shop out there. not that its a bad thing - but really nothing spectacular about this place that would make it better than another massage parlor that offered nail salon services. for what you pay - i'd expect a lot more. read more

The spa itself is very nice and beautiful. The parking situation is very reasonable. The layout, colors, small little things offered in a spa for clients are great. I love the waiting room, very tastefully done. Showers are most excellent, and the choice of products is very good. With that said, what makes a spa is the therapist that works on you. I sign up for massages only. My very first massage treatment was very low OK. I asked for deep tissue, and was given partially deep tissue massage. To be fair, my first trip was OK. However, my second trip was AMAZING! For my second appointment I insisted again and again that the therapist is someone who is good with deep tissue, else, I admitted that I would probably just leave in a middle of services. I was re-assured that I will be assigned a therapist with great deep tissue technique. And I was! I was scheduled with Scott (I don't know his last name). I cannot sing praises for him loud enough. I was very impressed with his technique, hands, and power. I am looking forward to returning back to the spa for another treat for myself. read more

I was able to utilize my groupon and treat myself to a birthday massage to de-stress from a hectic week of work...when I called to make the appointment, the receptionist was so helpful to schedule me. My massage therapist, Wendy, was wonderful! she was very thorough and attentive to those knots in neck and back. i enjoyed the atmosphere, quiet and peaceful! definitely going back. yes, the parking was a little confusing...it is lincoln square...usually i park closer to the area where the theaters and restaurants are...but the website indicates to drive and park at level 4 or 5...but i think lincoln square should improve the signage in the garage. read more

This is my go to spa when I need a massage asap. Never disappoints! Friendly staff & very capable massage therapists.

Underwhelming - I booked a 90-min massage, but it ended at the 75-min mark. The front desk person explained the extra 15 min is for "cleaning" - which is fine, but from the customer's POV it's a 75-min massage. Poor communication and no apology. For the duration of the massage I could hear a loud conversation and laughter coming from an adjacent room. Perhaps I caught them on an off day, but I would not recommend this place based on my first experience. read more
