The staff here is beyond rude I went to the store waiting for my ride. I walked and went down, maybe two aisles and then sat down on the bench that they have eventually a man came up to me asking if I needed help with anything I told him no I'm just waiting for my ride. Then a woman about 10 minutes later came up to me and said if I don't need help with anything then why was I looking down the aisles? I told the woman I was just waiting for my ride and trying to kill time they were accusing me of stealing from this little pharmacy where I need nothing from just needed a place to wait for a ride, so humble yourself. There's a bunch of other pharmacies you can go to like CVS, Walgreens, even other small brand pharmacies that have better staff than this. read more

Rude staff, unhelpful, not sure why doctors send people to them. They ignore you and take forever even when not busy and take people that came in after you if they know them, even if their prescriptions aren't ready read more

So let me start off with the statement to all moms this one is for you. This pharmacy is a hidden gem. They were kind and also helpful. I went in search of a nebulizer and there was none at CVS. They also stated that the distributor for CVS has not restocked it. That is scary when your doctor tells you you need to put your baby on it every 4 hours...at CVS they also said my insurance would not cover it...it was horrible. They recommended going to Trucare...maybe they are a mom and pop but when a major franchise like CVS does not have what you are looking for you get nervous. I called Trucare and they told me to come right over. They were so helpful. God bless them. I will no longer use CVS pharmacy, better to use someone who will be reliable and responsible for all your needs. Thumbs up guys. You did great today. I am now one of your biggest fans. read more

Staff always polite and responsive. Excellent systems and processes. Very personal. Always on first name basis. Makes doing business with local merchant rather than the chains a smart and important decision. Trucare Pharmacy is the worst. Sal thinks he's a doctor and is very very rude. I had to wait for a prescription that he said would be ready in 5 minutes. I waited 45 minutes and when I said something he lied and said he never said that. There was another woman there that heard everything and spoke up. He threw her out of the store. I asked for my prescription back because I didn't want to give him my business and all of the sudden he had my prescription ready in his hand and rung me up as if I didn't say anything. The guys not dealing with a full deck. If he wanted to be a doctor he should of went to school for it, not pretend he knows more than my doctor whose very good. Several ironic thumbs down on Small Business Saturday, 11/24/18. I have never written a negative review before but I feel compelled to say something here. I actually waited for a week to take the immediate emotional component out of the equation and my post. In the big box, electronic era, many of us try to give the small business person support, where possible. In the case of Trucare Pharmacy, the small man, owner and pharmacist is Salman and in my experience, I found him to be rude, snarky and entitled. I continued to go there because of illness, laziness and lack of time. The first time that I recall his rudeness was some time after my near 9 hour life-saving open heart surgery. The little guy remarked on how it was disappointing that I wasn't getting as many prescriptions filled as I had been, which was dozens. When I commented that it was a good sign because I was recovering, he made it clear that he wasn't joking. Last weekend, after visiting my Mom in hospice, I went to his store to pick up a script. Nobody was in the store and an hour til closing time. I ask him if he can look my account up to see what else that I had due to be refilled. I did not then nor have ever expected those refills to be done asap. Incredibly, with an annoyed voice, he wanted to know why I came into the store only on evenings and weekends and asked for things. After a heated exchange, he lied to me about the copay amount and overcharged me. I didn't realize this until I got home but figured that it was a couple of bucks and was not worth ANY further aggravation. Then I noticed that they had REFILLED THE WRONG SCRIPT. Oh man... In this past week, I have had 3 scripts filled at CVS (we can do the math on my approx annual usage!) that I got texts about when they were done. No worries, no problems... Oh, one last interesting note. I was seen by a physician this week. At the end of the exam, he was ready to send a script to my pharmacy from his tablet. I told him that I had problems with Trucare and would like it to be sent instead to CVS. He told me a story about a pretty serious issue that he had with Trucare as well but that's his story to tell... Sometimes small guy is just - small. Freedom of choice is a beautiful thing. I had decided to support a local pharmacy when I moved to Thiells. The first thing was that a teenager was telling me I was buying too many different types of cold medicines. I assured her that I was not. One for day and one for night, plus cold ease. She rolled her eyes at me. I still decided to give them a try. Nice people. But I went in with a script for Xanax from my doctor who is half time in Florida and half in New York. He had happened to send me the script on his Florida script pad but I thought nothing of it. The male pharmacist looked at me with a horrifying looked and demanded that he could NOT fill this script because it was from a different state. The look I got was as if I was trying to get this controlled substance under false pretenses! I went to CVS. The pharmacist explained that he thought the rules had changed to where he could do this and if I didn't mind waiting he would call the FDA and find out. 10 min later I had my script and was on my way. My advice to True Care. Tell the teenager to stop giving medical advise and get the number of the FDA to use... Oh, but first learn the rules or be familiar with what may have changed so you can call to make sure before you treat the customer like she's an addict. read more
