Initially, I waited patiently while being told there were more than 3 callers ahead of me, I got down to 1 caller ahead of me before the call went dead. I'm down to one caller ahead of me again, now? What will happen? Oh, the suspense. It's now been one hour since I first called. I would love not to need to call, but the last time the same dr called in a prescription, I kept being told they never received it, until they found that the pharmacist took the call but never filled the prescription. Just one other misadventure. I need to know if this prescription is being filled. Even if after hours it's not ready,I just need to know that they have it! I don't blame the staff. This can't be pleasant for them, either. I don't think they are in charge of the phone system, or even managing customer service, but something is not working, so knowing that does not help much. A person!! Yay!!!!!!! Hallelujah!! But wait!! They can't find the prescription. There is no doubt that it was called in. My head hurts. Too late to do anything about it tonight. Still on my list for tomorrow. : / Very nice man.. but how can I feel good about another painfully frustrating Walgreens experience? Yeah. I can't.

I think we can all agree, that we have all had that "deer in the headlights" look when we go into a new grocery store and the floor plan is not what we are used to back home. I had that here the first time, honestly, it's a big store and spread out, but when I asked that staff for help in locating something that I am racing around to try and find.. no problem at all, they either pointed it out or took me to the aisle. Once I was so sick with a cold, I was just miserable, the produce guy was way helpful I was rushing and I just couldn't seem to get my act together, he was like-- what do you need? I answered apples, oranges, bananas and strawberries he grabbed the bags of fruit for me so I could get the veges.. I think that I looked so scattered and like death warmed over, he basically took pity on me, THANK YOU!! My family loves the fresh pineapple from this particular store, I really didn't think there was a difference between produce at stores, but evidently there is, because not too long ago I stopped at my local ShopRite and indeed, there is a difference. Also if you need boxes for moving, the banana boxes are awesome.

I waited several days before writing this, because, had I started immediately after the last time I…read moredealt with them, it would have been a "tapestry of obscenity" still hanging in space over the Hudson. For two years, I have more or less been forced to use CVS for any prescriptions that weren't mail order. I have a lot of health stuff, so this ends up being a lot of prescriptions. And unequivocally, I hate CVS. My gripes have been consistent and constant. Things I need are not in stock, though they're common and I get them every month. CVS doesn't have the strength/size/quantity I need, so they substitute and don't tell me (though they do have to speak with prescriber). I have multiple things to pick up, but when I go to the drive through and *ask* whether there are more, it's "No, that's it," when of course there's another one in a basket somewhere. They keep refilling an expensive med that I don't use any more, even when I've archived it and refused to accept it every time, so Spouse comes home with it, every time. (He forgets. That's why we pay professionals.) There were even times, when using their specialty pharmacy, I'd have it delivered to the store if I had to be gone for the day or it was really hot--all they have to do is unpack the huge outside box and put the much smaller pack in their large commercial refrigerator. Multiple times, as soon as it arrived, they would call me immediately and say, "You need to come pick this us now because we don't have room for it." That was untrue. They were just stupid. "I have it sent to you because I CAN'T GET IT RIGHT NOW." Last week was my limit. Despite having spoken with them before, a prescription that said clearly "30 days" was only filled with enough for 15 days, and they didn't explain to me why until I was crying and yelling on the phone. The woman I spoke with made it seem like it was my fault. Another prescription I needed was unavailable for refill on the website, just a note to "call the pharmacy". Why? No idea. "You just have to call us." I DON'T WANT TO CALL YOU! BECAUSE YOU MAKE ME CRY AND SCREAM! After that call, I moved everything to the mail order pharmacy, even though it's a megacorp and I don't like how they do business. I even contacted all my doctors and asked them to write new scripts. I archived every prescription and will refuse every call and SMS from them. I'm so angry now, my stomach is in a knot and, were someone from CVS here, I would want to smack them. I hate CVS. I hate CVS. I hate CVS.

I have found that ALL CVS stores are NOT the same when it comes to sales, BOGO, 1/2 prices and such. But for this store they always seems to have specials on those tins of almonds and chips that I cannot find at even my local CVS, so ya know,I buy bulk when I can LOL. The counter staff has always been super nice and the chances of me receiving that mile long receipt we have all known to be awarded after a 2 item shopping spree, is 100% guaranteed!.

I went to make a return of 3 boxes of Christmas Lights and a Box of Hallmark Christmas Cards. All unopened and all on the same receipt of self checkout. For some crazy reason, the box of Christmas Cards on the receipt did not scan correctly when I made the purchase. Unbeknownst to me until I went to make the return, not only was I charged $20.49 for Christmas cards that were $17.49, they outright refused to make the return. When I asked to have them check the Christmas cards, they said they couldn't compare them as they are all sold out, even though it says clearly on the receipt what item I purchased. I spent over an hour of my time waiting on two managers, PABLO and THOMAS who treated me with utter disrespect and blank stares, each saying there was nothing they could do. How can that be an answer? They are both completely clueless and looked as if they rolled out of bed. What ever happened for dressing for the job? I've worked in retail, there has to be an over ride or I should have at least been offered a store credit. As a resident of Stony Point for over 30 years, I have been a loyal customer of CVS and I am being penalized for using self checkout. This because they don't have enough people employed to cover the registers, especially at Christmastime. I tried calling CVS main customer service, but of course they are experiencing an overload of calls. Gee I wonder why? I am calling again tomorrow and I'll keep you up dated. It's not about the $20.49, it's the principal.

Very simply, I had ordered a few photos through their on-site photo kiosk. When I finished, the system told me that my prints would be ready in 30 minutes. When I came back an hour later, I couldn't find anyone at the photo department. There was actually a lovely woman at the front register who offered to get someone to help me. She broadcast over the store intercom that a customer needed help in the photo area. Over the next ten minutes she requested help for me two more times since no one bothered to show up. Finally an employee sauntered over and went to get my pictures, only to find that no one had bothered to look at the machine and see that the pictures were never printed. So it's now 45 minutes past the promised time and the pictures were never done. Granted it only took a few more minutes for them to print, but that's not the point; the employee just didn't care. Five stars for the front counter person, no stars for the photo person.

My prescription was sent in two days ago, you would think that the pharmacy would check to make sure they had enough to fill it, make sure shelves were stocked, etc. Nope, not Walgreens. I called today to find out what's going on with my prescription and as usual something has gone wrong....again!!!! This time they don't have enough to fill my prescription and if I get a partial prescription I would need to go back to my doctor to get another prescription for the remainder filled. So now I have to wait until Monday to get my prescription filled. Today is Thursday, that's four more days!!! Over one week since they received my prescription!!!! Now I have to put off next months prescription another week because it would be to soon to fill all because Walgreens doesn't keep the correct stock. Do you realize how this affects my life!!??? I have a 30 day supply of pain meds and each and every month is carefully planned around those meds. Work, vacations, people, places, everything is planned ahead of time around my prescriptions. And every month it's the same BS from Walgreens!!! If I could get that prescription from another pharmacy I would but nobody else has them. This is the worst pharmacy around!!!! After 16 years of taking meds Walgreens has been the absolute worst!!!
