Your pharmacy is the worst ever! I have had the same prescriptions for last 16 yrs and I have never had as much issues as I have with Walgreens! From getting the same prescription filled every month to getting something as simple as nose spray this is by far the worst pharmacy ever! Worst pharmacy ever 3 time go to pick prescription not ready because they didn't call me to verify info

I know, it's Walgreens. We don't expect a five star experience, but you know, it would be nice and it is do-able if only more employees cared about why they are there and cared about helping the customers. Very simply, I had ordered a few photos through their on-site photo kiosk. When I finished, the system told me that my prints would be ready in 30 minutes. When I came back an hour later, I couldn't find anyone at the photo department. There was actually a lovely woman at the front register who offered to get someone to help me. She broadcast over the store intercom that a customer needed help in the photo area. Over the next ten minutes she requested help for me two more times since no one bothered to show up. Finally an employee sauntered over and went to get my pictures, only to find that no one had bothered to look at the machine and see that the pictures were never printed. So it's now 45 minutes past the promised time and the pictures were never done. Granted it only took a few more minutes for them to print, but that's not the point; the employee just didn't care. Five stars for the front counter person, no stars for the photo person. read more

the pharmacist here treated myself, a cancer patient like a drug addict when I tried to fill a liquid pain killer prescription after my partial glossectomy (surgery to remove tongue). It was extreamly insulting and irresponsible to find the pharmacist took it upon herself to change my liquid pain meds to tablets that DISSOLVE ON YOUR TONGUE (I just had parts of my tongue surgically removed due to cancer) because she thought I was a drug seeker! I'm still not sure exactly how she did this because I've gotten about 2 separate stories from New City Walgreens: 1. "The Nyack Walgreens called it in as a tablet". (This can't be because another pharmacy can't call in this type of medication, only a doctor can plus I have the email stating it was a liquid) 2. "Your doctor changed it for you, I as the pharmacist can't just change it". (The doctor, who wasn't even my doctor, it was the doctor on call in the recovery Ward said she told him they were out of the liquid and when I spoke to my doc she said she would never prescribe a tablet that dissolves on your tongue after parts of your tongue were removed) Normally I go to Nyack Walgreens for any medications but they were out of the liquid and suggested New City Walgreens because they had it in stock. This was very upsetting to be treated like a drug addict and be denied pain meds the day after surgery. This type of surgery is quite painful and since I wasn't able to speak due to parts of my tongue missing & swollen I had to get a friend speak for me and since it was 6:00pm most of the people I needed to speak to had left for the day. This pharmacists unwarranted treatment was disgusting and quite an abuse of her power. I will NEVER give them my business again and I will be sure to inform anyone I encounter the disgusting treatment I received from them. You should be ashamed of yourself! read more

I now know why this location gets such poor reviews. I've come here on several occasions for items in their flyer on sale. EVERY TIME I come, the item isn't ringing up at the correct price, I have to prove that's the price (when it's in their current flyer), their clipped digital coupons never pop up, even when some hours prior to, and this particular location has no intention of going out of the norm to do anything for you. So each visit is like a day in court. I've consistently been unhappy here since shopping for circular sale items, and it's not because I read the tag wrong, but because they mislabel, and their prices are not up to date when scanned. I don't care how much attitude and difficulty their staff gives, I'm spending my money, so I'm going to make sure I'm getting the deal you're advertising. Be prepared when coming here to know everything is a fight! read more

I brought my daughter to the pharmacy tonight for her COVID-19 Pfizer shot. She is 7 and petrified of needles. She was a complete wreck during our appointment, so much so that we kept on having to leave the room and let other kids go in front of us because she couldn't calm down. Michele S in the pharmacy was a god send. I wouldn't have made it through without her. She was calm, kind, funny and thoughtful, and tried every trick in the book with my daughter. She finally got the shot in her arm after an hour. I can't thank Michele S (and Larry, also in the pharmacy) for their kindness and patience on such a stressful evening! Now thanks to them, my daughter is protected! read more

This store has terrible hours, only has the medication I need half the time, and has terrible customer service. The only benefit to this pharmacy is that there is a drive through. All in all this is a horrible pharmacy. The CVS down the street is a far better option. read more

Store 13468 is the epitome of why businesses fail in this country. The pharmacy staff is unprofessional, rude, ill equipped and obviously not accountable to the cousters they are paid to serve. I arrived at 6:11 only to be told that I had to wait 20 minutes, an hour and 31 minutes later, I am still waiting, but now have to deal with the poorly trained pharmascist Joe Montemorano tell his unprofessional and rude cashier/assistant that i'll just have to wait because others have been waiting longer. I can promise that i will NEVER frequent another walgreens again and will implore my family and friends to do the same but my hope is that you will take the time to invest in training your staff to be a bit more empathetic to the needs of ill patients who are anxiously awaiting medication and to better manage their resources while providing something that mirrors quality customer care. Walgreens is an embarrassment and I will post this very message on every social media platform that i can access. read more

The pharmacy manager Tori is rude and nasty. After having my prescriptions filled here every 4 weeks for the past year she refused to fill them until a date I will be out of medications. I have a chronic illness that has progressed into its later stages. As I attempt to speak to her she get Nastier by the second. She yells and screams on the phone. She says nasty things. On Jan 5, 2014 I was racially profiled by a female Walgreens Manager on Sunday morning after I entered the store to buy a tube of ointment for eczema. I asked this lady Manager where could the ointment be found. She followed me through store and struck-up conversation with a white patron just five feet from me. As I tried to decide which brand I would purchase, the Manager never moved as she keep her gaze on me the entire time I looked at the various ointments on the shelf. I am a 60 year old member of the Clergy. Apparently, it didn't matter to this Walgreen employee could see that i was dressed in a suit and tie under a overcoat and hat. It is unfortunate that people of color must constantly deal with the insult, injury, discomfort and harassment of racial profiling, even by employees of a Walgreens Store. read more
