Bad computer system, employee with a bad attitude and inefficient system, made my day a total waste of time since I don't live in the area. I've been going to them for years , a little over a year ago I moved out of the area. I continue to go out of my way to get all my prescriptions from Eckerson because time and time again they have given me exceptional service. Today my physician prescribed an additional medication for my cholesterol. Hillcrest Pharmacy called to tell me it was ready. A few minutes later they called me back to let me know the copay was $100. I said I didn't mind the co pay but I want to talk to the pharmacist to ask about any side effects and if I really needed this prescription. When I arrived at the pharmacy I was greeted as always by the staff upfront and at the back counter. The pharmacist got my prescription, as I was asking him if I really needed it, he ripped open the bag and said you are not getting this. He further went on to explain the doctor prescribed Fish Oil. That I should get it at Costco or the Grocery store. I was relieved that it wasn't a medication I needed to take, and very happy the Hillcrest Pharmacy was looking out for me as they always do.
