I went on line to find out where to get a COVID test- Rite Aid in West Nyack came up and it said "call for appt- so I called. At first the woman told me she couldn't help me- and said she would send me to the pharmacy. She put me on hold for 20 minutes- when the woman finally answered she kept telling me NO they can't take an appt . Every time I asked her how to make an appt she raised her voice at me and kept saying No- finally she said I had to do it online and then hung up on me. This was the rudest I have ever been treated when calling for honest assistance . I do NOT recommend this location! read more

I recommend Rite Aid of Valley Cottage. The staff is pleasant, friendly and helpful. I have never been locked out, nor rushed out. No dagger eyes at breathless customers popping in moments before closing. "Did you find everything you were looking for? Salsa, chips, razors, seltzer, floss, birthday card, self-tanner, and deluxe nail grooming kit? That will be...." The merchandise is neat, clean, well stocked, and reasonably priced. No discount is worth the noise, crowds, and anonymity of big box and bulk stores. Last, but not least, Rite Aid Valley Cottage provides a pharmacy drive through, which is essential for me and safer for the customers and pharmacy staff. read more

First I love Rite Aid. Second, I got what I came for (a power strip extension cord). The clerk was rude...which actually felt surprising since Congers is far enough from the city to make it a small town feel. No greeting, no salutation, and just threw my receipt on the counter and expected me to put it in my own bag. This is after she spent five to seven minutes trying to help some old lady tried to return some item that was no longer in stock or something like that. I guess they don't like outsiders. Was going to give 2-stars for the bad vibe but I love Rite Aid too much. read more

Hands down the rudest clerk I've ever encountered in my life. Without fail, anytime we're in there, the older clerk will always mutter something under her breath about anyone she finishes checking out. Nice location, has a parking lot and usually well maintained but I have to say, it's been 3 months and their ATM has been broken.

I don't even think this place deserves the one star. The staff whose been there forever and yet they still seem to have no idea what they're doing. The women who work they're are beyond rude and unhelpful. I do not recommend coming here unless it is your only option. read more

I agree with the other reviewers.. poorly run pharmacy so you better know your insurance coverage well. There were also other instances when they didn't have the medications I needed and I had to literally call different RiteAid locations to obtain the med. I came one time at 8pm to drop off prescriptions and was told the medications won't be filled until the next day. (They close at 9pm). This place is certainly not good if you need medications last minute. I gave an extra star as they recently renovated the place so RiteAid store itself looked nice. Staff need to have some SERIOUS training. There's no customer service, they're always confused as to what needs to be done. In need of some serious training and have a personality. They don't greet or smile, if you're miserable don't work. They need better customer service and knowledge about coupon and insurance cards. The pharmacy is the WORST! read more

Rite aid is a great place to go, but whenever I go to the pharmacy they give me a hard time for my prescriptions. I just had surgery and was prescribed by a doctor for pain meds. The pharmacy associate thought I was a drug addict, saying that there is some rules about giving these type of meds out. I came to this pharmacy so many times for the same prescription, I never had a problem getting my prescription filled. Also it takes them an hour to fill my prescription. This is the last time I will be coming back here. read more
