Northvale CVS has several PBM's (Pharmacy Benefit Managers) so my doctor sent my prescription to a different pharmacy and I payed $1. CVS does this a lot. They falsely and fraudulently 'cancel' your prescription medical insurance information so they can falsely claim you have no prescription insurance. That's how they do it.

The gals are great! I think the pharmacist in charge is Dawn and wonderfully pleasant and super helpful. There is another pharmacist, Livia. She is absolutely incredibly helpful and always has a huge smile. She goes out of her way to help everyone. She maybe the main reason I go into this location. The cashiers that work w the pharmacy dept. also amazing. Always happy, always willing to go the extra mile, always super attentive. This is a beautiful store which is well stocked and well staffed. It has cashier and two self…read morecheck out registers. My major issue with this store was the pricing which I felt was high. I am not sure if this is the case because of the location being in Bergen County, NJ or if the prices are this high at other locations. Store is clean and roomy and has extra offerings than most drug stores such as Walgreens. The public restroom which I needed to use was stocked with paper and soap and was clean. I was given $5 to spend at any CVS and I was able to get a $5.99 (Down from $11.99 bag of 12 oz. ground coffee) for .99 which made me happy. This location had Thanksgiving and Christmas candy for 50 percent off on 1/12/24. I think they can do better than this otherwise they will be keeping it. I had two separate sales associates ask me if I needed any help. I don't live close to a CVS so when they lure me with a good discount, it is when I travel out of the area near home.
