Then harassed my phone 5 times Becuase we both knew he was lying and tried to say his computer doesnt work and he needed to call insurance etc etc. another incident three months ago, made discriminatory hints about comments about prescribed contraceptives because insurance covers it and was begrudged that I didnt need to pay out of pocket. Started the "insurance doesnt cover it" script since then and had been withholding medications and discriminating against my health plan And formulary.finally transferred all my prescriptions to CVS at Indian Rock, turns out they cover my prescription for Plan B at no cost.

I've only been a couple times now as I've been trying different pharmacies due to my local CVS always being out or having to wait several days for items to come in and this will be my go to going forward. It is extremely clean and organized. I like how it is just a pharmacy and you're not dealing with a ton of other people and distractions browsing isles. The staff is consistently super supportive and friendly and happy to answer any questions. Being that the pharmacist are the ones ringing up the prescriptions, you are dealing with people who are there to do a job and are professional and not fooling around. Gerard and the team are really the best. They also seem to have everything I have needed and I have not had to wait or come back several days later. Also, usually I am the only one there at the time, which also makes service quick and efficient.

When I called Monroe Pharmacy to complain, and asked for a reimbursement, they explained that the reason for this was that they do not get the manufacturer's discount that larger chain type pharmacies (CVS and Walgreens) get. I wish they would have been transparent all along and told me that I would be paying more with them as a result, $65 more. I cannot afford to pay more than my insurance copay. Also, I want to feel safe and trust the pharmacy I do business with. Now, I understand that it's important to shop around and make sure the pharmacy you choose is offering you the best price in accordance to your insurance and neighboring pharmacies.
