When I had a prescription issue, the pharmacist straightened it out immediately. When i have called numerous others CVS pharmacies, to talk to the pharmacist, i've had to wait at least 15 + minutes JUST to have someone answer the phone. Call Monsey Pharmacy, answer after 2 rings. This location is like the hidden gem of CVS'.

I end up having to get behind the 8 people that came in the store after me and wait another half hour for my pre-paid prescription. And when the app does not work to show the pre-paid, express pick up code, I get charged a second co-pay. For 2 and one half years the same issue every month or so. If my insurance would cover my scripts at a different pharmacy, I would switch immediately.

Instead of coming closer to hear me she just kept asking "date of birth". When I gave her only a partial date (month/year) she got annoyed and started giving me attitude. I normally have decent service here. This lady had no clue what customer service is. She was unprofessional and it caught me off guard. If this happens next time I will ask her to come to the pick up counter before sharing my details with everyone. She can enjoy the embarrassment of the moment instead of me.

Most of the time it's the same wait inside of the building which is why people prefer the drive-thru option but it's pretty much the same at this point. To make matters worse, finding an employee on the floor to assist you is difficult as well. These are issues that take place at almost every CVS I go to. They should really do better. I've never had any issues in the store and the staff at the front are always offering to assist. They were particularly loaded up with Mother's Day gifts this weekend - balloons, flowers, plants, cards and more. You could probably walk in and find nice gifts and nobody would even realize you got them at a CVS. Something interesting I'll point out - my kids have sampled milk from many stores in the area and find that the milk carried by CVS is the creamiest.

Then, When I went to pay, I was going to use the self pay machine, but when I scanned it, it told me that I needed a representative to assist me in this purchase. One person happened to be behind the counter and when I asked her to assist me, she told me to use the self pay machine. When I told her that it said that I needed a representative, she sighed and gave me an eye roll. Then I told her that I needed a price for each one, I got another eye roll. Then I just asked her if she could ring me up and she did so, but didn't look too happy about it. All in all, it was not a great experience.

Walk away from the CVS and Walgreens of the world and support local families. To my knowledge they match prescription prices of the big box stores! You'll be surprised how much local businesses care about your business if you give them a shot to earn it!

Finally managed to do so, but when I arrived for the appointment, and someone finally came over to me she said they weren't open Saturdays. Why was I able to make the appointment, I asked. She, who seemed to be the senior there, was exceptionally nasty and condescending as if it was my fault I made the appointment. Bad computer system, employee with a bad attitude and inefficient system, made my day a total waste of time since I don't live in the area. Still need that immunization but really don't want to go back to this place. Will find another, I hope. Wish I could give that (oriental) woman zero for her attitude.
