Love their Yoyo drink series. They always come up with inventive new drinks to try. They are on the pricy side but still worth it!

The FOD app is currently offering a "buy one, get one free" deal but note that the "free" beverage is limited to two options. I got the peach oolong for this free drink (it's a regular size). For my main drink, I ordered the OREO GALAXY CREME, since I didn't see the regular Oreo milk tea I had tried last time. Turns out, the full menu isn't offered via this delivery service. The drink itself was really good! I love how Tru Tea is very generous with their cookie crumbs which is the best part of their Oreo series and hence, deserves the title of the best Oreo milk tea (I've had my fair share of different ones from different shops and still believe this to be true). This version was much creamier than the regular, tasting as if they hard whip cream in the beverage itself. I ordered this at 70% sugar which was perfect. I only had this once but I really liked it! I typically always get basic drinks but my friend got me a ~fancy~ one and it was really good! Drink: Soy Pudding Tru Tea with 50% sugar

Interesting new bubble tea spot. Their price point is sort of high, but I will say they have a lot of very interesting flavours! Their mixes are actually quite delicious, and really does feel like a dessert in a cup. They use a lot of fresh ingredients in their drinks--at least from what I've seen. Their fresh taro TRU tea is probably one of the best taro-based bubble teas I've had. I came here when they had their B1G1 promotion, otherwise I'm not sure if I would come back. Their regular drinks aren't really worth getting, since they're so similar to any bubble tea joint. It's definitely a "treat yourself" type of place with their fancier and higher price point drinks.

First time trying this and loved it. Their highlight is trupioca (their version of tapioca). It reminded me of coconut jelly and aloe and it's low calories! I got the strawberry trupioca and their limited Edition Sakura lychee. Both were delicious and I'd definitely go again. Wish there was a location near the west end of Toronto

TRU TEA focuses on using natural and fresh quality ingredients to craft their unique drinks! I've heard of good things about this brand so I was very excited to try their drinks. This store was in a food court by the LCBO plaza, so if you drove down, you'd have to pay for parking close by (unless you know someone). The store wasn't very busy so the staff was able to help us right away. We ordered the Matcha Strawberry Latte and Double Roasted Frosty and One way you know they don't use powder is that the drinks took some time to make (5 mins for both?). Both drinks were delicious and not too sweet, but my personal favorite between the 2 was the Double Roasted Frosty as it was very flavorful, plus had that little foam on the top as well. If you taste their drinks, you can see they use real ingredients as there's a lot of stuff inside vs. Powdered bbt where it would look like liquid only. I'll definitely be back to try their other drinks!!

Located near Finch station, which is convenient . The store is clean and the staff was wearing a mask, which is good especially during these time of the covid 19. Overall experience is good, and the drinks are nice and freshly made.

Deluxe Purple Yam (with tapioca and sweet barley)

Yet another bubble tea spot in the Yonge and Sheppard area (in this plaza alone, there are 2!). While Tru does taste more or less like all the other bubble teas in the world, it does have some interesting flavours, so I'll bump it up a star. Of note are its cake flavoured creme series and pop up seasonal drinks. The one that caught my eye though was its mozzarella series (yes, you read that right), which is brewed tea topped with house made mozzarella cheese foam. I got the deluxe purple yam with tapioca and sweet barley. Hey, if all bubble teas are created equal anyway, might as well go to places with the unique/cool flavours, and Tru gives you that.

I really liked the Lychee and dragon fruit flavour combo. So refreshing and quite filling too. I like the little bits of fruit that is added. I'll just pretend I'm in a tropical place while having this.

A hidden gem found in Sheppard Yonge area mall. Me and a friend ordered two drinks and we were blown away! I got the #8 Fresh Taro Tru Tea and my friend got the #6 Mango Sago. There was no line and we got our drinks within minutes!! The woman serving us was really nice and made sure that we were satisfied with our drinks. The drink I ordered had real taro and purple rice in a fair portion which was great! Will definitely be back when I'm around the North York area. Thank you Tru Tea and keep up the good work!!

I've only got the "Creme de la Creme" drink - it's a yummy sweet drink - I would definitely recommend it if you like cake/cookie flavors! Love it so much I've bought it multiple times!

    Lychee Dragon Fruit Miracle

lychee dragon fruit miracle // no ice, regular sugar - slightly too sweet for regular sugar - really refreshing overall taste - i liked how they added chunks of dragon fruit, definitely added to its overall authenticity as a fruity drink super kiwi boost // no ice, regular sugar - again, pretty authentic fruit flavour with strong lemon/kiwi taste - ice wasn't blended enough, some pretty big ice chunks made it hard to drink other - overall a pretty good place! the server was extremely nice and made our drinks in under five minutes. the menu has a lot of fresh fruit options which is great for the summer imo. i'd definitely go back and try more flavours, even if it is a little expensive.

It's inside a mall. Nice and quick service. Amazing variety of items in the menu. I would come again.

The bubble tea here is very smooth and creamy. They had different flavours that includes mango, taro, and coconut. Service was fast.

Small bubbletea shop that also serves pastries and Filipino meals…read more Their standout offering, of course, is the bubbletea. The tea is loose-leaf, so is elevated from the typical bubbletea. But it's the tapioca that really makes the drink shine with how fresh and bouncy they are. For a tea shop, this place also has really good food. Tried the scones and they were super buttery, very flavourful, and were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside like all great scones. We also got some Filipino meals - the lechon kawali and lumpia super crispy, the bangsilog had a good portion size for the price, and the halo-halo was refreshing. Place is mainly a takeout spot, but there are a couple of small tables to sit 4. Service is friendly. Tea offerings are extensive. Worth a drop-by.

Walking in, there's a great amount of cakes, cookies, and drinks. Cookies: The matcha white chocolate cookie was freshly made. Quite soft and delicious. Reasonably sized cookie. Yema cake: It was my first time having the Yema cake so I was looking forward to try it. I got the ube flavour and a soft chiffon cake texture. It wasn't too sweet and was perfect for a nice small dessert. The staff were friendly and the service was good. It's too bad there's limited seating as it would be great to dine-in. I definitely want to come back to try out their drinks!
