I love how bright and spacious this store is compared to other bubble tea shops around Yonge and Finch where theres no seating room and is takeout only. The servers were pleasant and friendly. I ordered the pearl milk tea with half sugar and no ice which was the perfect sweetness for me. I would also recommend their Taro Storm if you are a fan of taro. We came here after visiting the Korean festival. We were advice that it will take longer than 20 min to get our drinks. We ended up waiting for longer than 30 min. We were really confused why it took so long to make the drinks. It took them about 10 min to make one drink. The slowest bubble tea place. We tried the peach oolong tea and watermelon tea. They were both ok. The watermelon drink was kind of disappointing, it came in a big tub but it's mostly just filled by watermelon chunks and ice rather than the tea itself. The environment was cute. It had a scrumptious citrus flavour and lots of fruits inside the drink. We added tapioca to the beverages and were really happy with the outcome. The restaurant serves takeout orders in a really cute branded bag and the drinks were just as good. We ordered them without ice and were happy with the quantity. The Peach Oolong reminded me of the fuzzy peach gummies from Maynards, the Passionfruit & Pineapple drink has a sweet fruity taste, and the Strawberry Green Tea has a more tart fruity taste. With so many bbt places along Yonge street in North York, it's hard to decide which one to try. I have a "go-to" place, but today I wanted to try something new! We walked past Its Tea on a Sunday afternoon and saw the socially distance line up inside the store. It caught my attention and once I saw "New Topping: Sesame Tofu Pudding" I was sold! I ordered one of their special - soy milk tea with soy cream and sesame tofu, no ice, 25% sugar. I really enjoyed the soy milk tea and cream! It was creamy, rich and had a hint of soy flavour. The sesame tofu pudding was a bit of a disappointment though. I did not taste any sesame flavour at all. All I can say was it was smooth and barely requires any chewing. I do wish they told me that the drink would take 20 mins to make due to an ordering backlog when I placed the order. I would have still proceeded with my order but would come back to get the drink after running errands instead of standing in the shop for 20 mins. read more

Went with a few friends to check out this bbt place!!! Is a nice convenient spot in a busy location IF you're subwaying in. If you're driving in it's a bit of a pain since it's a busy area and will need to pay for parking but there are lots available. Overall, there is quite an extensive menu to choose from with all sorts of drinks but everything is a bit pricey. Decor is very cute and place is very clean, has some seating. I got the #4, Pearl Milk Tea with cake mousse ($6.90). I thought it was decent. Tasted like standard milk tea and the mousse was good but you have to mix it a bit before you drink. I can't say I would recommend because it is a bit pricey than other places and I wouldn't say it stood out in particular so I'll have to give it pass. My friends also had similar reviews. Worth trying if there's something in particular you want to try but can't recommend just in general since it is a bit pricey and not particularly impressive. read more

We came here on a Saturday evening. I ordered the Fresh Taro Matcha Storm with mochi topping. They have the New Mochi series- I asked if I can add mochi in any drink. The order taker said it can be done. She also reassure me it will taste good. My drink was made pretty quickly and I get to pick a cup cover for my drink which I find it pretty cute. Now to the taste of the drink. The Matcha was okay- not the ceremonial level but I really liked the fresh taro and the Oreo crunch. The Mochi was a glutinous mush in the drink- not my favourite. I end up trying to avoid the Mochi texture. I think I prefer mochi pieces rather than a mochi mush. Overall, not a huge fan of this drink. With the weather starting to warm up, I finally felt motivated to go out and try a new bubble tea store. I ordered the "sesame tofu milk tea" in large size with tapioca and 50% sugar. The milk tea was decent, nothing special, and the tapioca had a nice chewiness but was quite bland. The only thing that stood out for me was the "sesame tofu" which was fairly unique since I've never seen anything like it before at any of the other bbt chains. The texture was smooth like a pudding and you could definitely tell that they used real ground sesame due to the speckled appearance but the flavour was rather subtle. Overall, I thought it was a decent drink and enjoyed the novelty of the sesame pudding. However, since the tea and tapioca were lacking in depth and flavour, I wouldn't put Its Tea at the top of my list for milk teas. I am curious to see how their other drinks would hold up, especially the fruit teas and slushies. Perhaps I'll try them again in the summer.. although I would say I'm in no rush. read more

I got to try some beautiful summer drinks from @itsteacanada. The drinks that I got were the white peach cream frappe and the grapefruit tea slush with cheese foam. The white peach cream frappe was very beautifully crafted with real peach pulp, jelly and topped with whipped cream. If was very rich and decadent and was like drinking peach ice cream. The other drink was the grapefruit tea slush with cheese foam. It's that super refreshing drink with a hint of creaminess and it contains real grapefruit slices. Our friend, who loves tea bbts, recommended Itstea and so glad she did! I think I'm hooked on their real fruit slushes :)) It's very refreshing and perfect for this hot weather. Their (yellow/golden) pearls are really chewy and have a just-right quality to them (doesn't taste too strong or bland, light bouncy texture). Good bubbles are addicting. Their real fruit slushes are on the steeper side (total ~$8, including the pearls $1.00), but it includes real fruits and cheese foam (a separate topping would be an additional $1.00). Also, I'm a fan of some cream in bbt, so I liked the cheese foam at the end (calling cheesecake lovers). They have a point system too, where you can earn free topping and store credits. There are a quite of bbt places around, but I'll def try their other drinks when in the area again or come back for their yummy fruity bbt! read more

I've been seeing It's Tea all over Instagram lately as it newly opened this North York location which made me really want to pay them a visit! From photos, the aesthetic + vibe of the place is what really drew me in and seeing it in person didn't disappoint. The store is spacious (quite surprising considering where it's located) so tables were nicely spread out for social distancing if you plan to stay in + enjoy your drinks. The decor is very minimal but super cute, I love the theme! Shop also looks very clean and hand sanitizer is left at the entrance/exit for those who wish to use it. I ordered the following two drinks: 1. WATERMELON SLUSH W/ ICE CREAM: first off, how could you go wrong with this combination? (Answer is, you can't). Their watermelon slush was so flavorful + refreshing! Adding the ice cream made the drink nice + creamy too. I ordered this with 75% sugar and it was still quite sweet so 50% is something to consider, but it was still really good. There's also little jellies in the drink, texture similar to resin, for that added texture + something to chew on. Oh! They also add some small diced watermelon bits as well so you know they use real fresh fruit. 2. OREO MILK TEA W/ TAPIOCA: my sister is a sucker for Oreo milk teas so we had to get one when we saw it on the menu. Their milk tea is quite strong which is nice + the tapioca is very chewy. It's also super neat that the boba is golden! In terms of Oreo-flavor, there was quite a bit of cookie crumbs (but I wouldn't mind more), which was nice but the best Oreo milk tea I've had is still Tru Bubble Tea. I ordered this at 75% sugar and was surprised that it wasn't too sweet. I would actually contemplate trying this at regular sugar levels out of curiosity. Service was friendly and I was offered a bag when picking up my drinks - nice attention to detail! Highly recommend It's Tea and after this pleasant experience, I plan to come back! The place is super clean and a very vibrant space. Very cute and instaworthy. It's a little bit on the pricier side, about 6-8 dollars per drink. However, taste is great, tapioca is good and it comes in a really nice quality cup. The Oreo milk tea was really good, not too sweet and had a great sweet salty cookie taste! The mango pomelo smoothie came with real pomelo and mango, with sago at the bottom. Both drinks were good although I don't think the mango pomelo was anything special. This place is unbearably slow. Over 40 minutes for three teas on a Sunday afternoon.

My partner picked up ITS TEA for us the first night we arrived, which was Monday. It's a local business with 3 locations -- two in Toronto and one in Scarborough. I went with my usual pick the large oolong milk tea with no sugar, no ice, added tapioca and coconut jelly (they were out of pudding, probably because it was close to closing time). It was a last minute decision to pick something up from here, and my partner arrived around 8pm roughly and they were closing soon. I'm glad that they were out of pudding, so I had an opportunity to try something new that I otherwise wouldn't have gotten -- I'm usually not a fan of coconut, but fortunately it wasn't a strong coconut flavor and the texture of the jelly was chewy like tapioca. It's one of the best bubble teas I've had in Toronto, and I was telling my partner that I'd want to be back here again before we leave Thursday afternoon. I'd recommend this brand and any of their locations to people who are looking for delicious and authentic bubble tea. read more

The area is full of bubble tea shops, the logo is extremely interesting and is what got us here. It has a beautiful yellow and white inside which makes for beautiful pictures and a welcoming vibe.
