Special - milk tea with tapioca, aloe, grass jelly
    Daniel C.

Came here with a friend as they were having a special. 3.88 for a milk tea with tapioca, aloe and grass jelly. My friend got a brown sugar bbtea with tapioca. This place uses honey as their sugar source. Standard customization options of honey and ice available. Milk tea was okay, tapioca had good chew, aloe had a nice firmness and grass jelly was soft and smooth. Overall, pretty comparable to coco or Chatime although I felt the milk tea a little watered down. Service is fast but thats because there were like 5 employees just for the two of us. Summary: Good bbtea, worth trying.

Kung Fu Tea is yet another bubble tea joint in the GTA. I was a bit surprised to see the negativity of the reviews here, but I had a pretty positive experience. Their drinks are good--quite similar compared to those in the area--but I would say the price point is a bit higher than competitors in the area. The quality of their tea is a bit better though, in my opinion. I generally don't like very sweet bubble tea and cutting the sugar level to 30% was good for me. That being said, I believe their standard sugar levels are not as high as Coco or Chatime. There is very little space for seating, but the provided areas are quite cozy. It's a nice spot to sit and chat with some friends. Bonus points: the staff were pretty cute.

Summertime is finally upon us. Its the perfect time to drink as many cold drinks as we want. At least that's what I'll be doing. I visited Kungfu Tea after so long and it was wonderful. I especially like their daily specials. I picked up their Grass Jelly Milk Tea from their daily special menu. The drink came to $4.80. The Breakdown: - Ordered the drink with less ice, half sugar (they put honey instead of sugar) - The milk tea was sweet and rich. I feel like Kungfu tea's milk teas have a unique taste compared to other boba places which I really like - The grass jelly was nice and squishy Their daily specials are still going on where you get a large drink from their daily special menu for $4.80! (x2) LYCHEE ICED TEA // LARGE - We got two of these since Uber Eats was doing a BOGO deal for the Lychee Iced Tea only (I only took a picture with one of them though). - Unfortunately, you couldn't customize the ice/sugar levels. There wasn't any ice in the drink (as you can see from the pictures) so clearly there was no ice, but I'm not too sure about the sugar levels... felt like 50% sweetness if I were to take a guess? - Overall, the drink was very clean tasting - not overwhelmingly/sickly sweet as some fruit teas are. - However, the lychee taste was very faint and there was virtually NO tea taste. Just tastes like lychee juice really- nothing special. Overall - 2/5 (x1) PUDDING MILK TEA // LARGE, NO ICE, STANDARD SUGAR - Couldn't customize the sugar levels on Uber, it only had the 'standard' option available. - The pudding was ok-  there was a decent amount in my drink but I do wish it was sweeter. - Again, VERYYYYY faint tea taste... it just felt like I was drinking milk... Overall - 2/5 OTHER - Honestly, I was pretty eager to try this bubble tea spot since they had a lot of appealing options on Uber. However, given this experience, I'm not too hopeful about future drinks. There was virtually no tea taste in either of my drinks and that was pretty disappointing lol.

They currently feature daily specials where each day is a feature drink for $3.99. They do take-out during COVID. I like the quality of the tea, it taste better than some of the others bubble tea shops in the are. I recommend sticking to their traditional top 10 signature tea or milk teas. They also have a loyalty program and if you collect enough points you can redeem for free topping or drink. The customer service is not the greatest, because most times when I go, they can't speak English very well, so just be mindful of that. One unique thing about them is that they use honey as the sweetener. I usually order their marble brown sugar bbt or the 38 milk king which is one of their signature drink.

Didn't enjoy our visit here too much. Service is really unpleasant, not friendly at all. This is really in contrast to the Chinatown location which has really friendly peeps working there. Aside from that, the location is a little strange. There's just some seating at the window, and a small uh, nook, I guess at the back, where you can sit at some tiny tables. I didn't notice any actual tables, even though there was enough room for at least two. As far as the tea goes, they were inconsistent. The three teas we ordered were all supposed to be half sugar, but the Kung fruit tea and tieguanyin tea were way too sweet, where mine was acceptable. Again, the Chinatown location seems much better. Friendly service, and consistently good teas. Dunno if I'd come here again since there are so many options in the area.

what else can I say about this place. I had an unpleasant experience here. I came here and ordered the mango chunks with green tea. The picture as advertised had mango chunks. However when I received the cup, there were no mango chunks. I only saw a few strands of mango. I felt burned and felt it was false advertising. Additionally, the server didn't ask me for sugar level. When the drink came, I told them that I wanted less sugar so I told them to redo it. They refused to redo my drink so I ended up with a drink with no mango and lots of sugar. I won't be coming back again. horrible place.

New bbt place that opened at Yonge and Sheppard this summer. This is one of those places that are good in some drinks and not so good in other drinks. I tried the TieGuanYin Latte and the Rose Milk Tea with grass jelly. Both were okay for about $6 each, not amazingly special. I think there needed to be more flavour and texture mixed into the drinks. This is especially true for the Rose Tea Latte. They do make up for it in the fast service. I literally heard one guy telling other server to be faster as they made the drinks. The drinks came within 5 minutes of ordering. Place is kind of small with little seating. It seems to be more for takeout than sit-down cafe. The entrance has a few stools and the back has few more seats. I don't know if it's because of the quietness or the asian decor, it had an interesting "zen" vibe to it.

You will either love coming here because of the interesting bubble tea options or you'll hate it because of the experience from the employees. I haven't had an issue with the service. There usually a hot an cold option on most of the drinks and their fairly priced as with most bubble tea shops. This place stands out more from the rest of the bbt shops in the area because of where it's located and the interesting variety of teas. There's a lot of other bbt chains in the area also. The only not so positive thing I've noticed about this place is they won't admit to making a mistake on a drink order. My sister and I ordered a drink that was suppose to come with what we assumed was some type of jelly. However, when we got our drink it was just fruit juice. The employees talked to amongst each other and I'm sure they realized the area since they kept looking at the drink. Eventually they put the drink with the rest of our orders in a bag and sent us on our merry way.

    Don't remember, matcha and grapefruit

Our search for some bubble tea brought us to this store. There were some customers enjoying their drinks and others waiting for theirs when we arrived. We weren't sure what type of tea we wanted and the staff at the cash was helpful in determining what to order. Matcha is my go to and I did not regret it. It was very flavourful and tasty. My cousins really enjoyed their grapefruit and other tea (I don't remember what the other one was). We didn't have to wait long for our drinks to be ready.

Original milk tea with tapioca and pudding

Love this new bubble tea shop! I've tried the original milk tea with tapioca and pudding, the rose oolong, and the Tieguanying (iron goddess) milk tea with tapioca, all of which are delicious. The tapioca here is very Q and chewy and sweetened in brown sugar syrup. The tea here is good quality and you can actually taste it. The shop has a zen airy feel with bench seating in the back and bar seating in the front. It's not a large space but enough for small groups of friends to catch up or for individuals to study. They play good mandarin pop in the background if you care for that.

We're constantly on a quest for the best BBTin the GTA but sadly, Kung Fu Tea isn't high on our list. We've tried a variety of drinks but they're mostly OK. Most recently tried the Passion Fruit Green Tea and added tapioca and jelly. From the get go, the drinks are relatively pricey vs other competitors in the surrounding area. One benefit of Kung Fu Tea is it is sweetened with honey but I do feel like that changes the flavour expectations of certain drinks, as honey and a particular flavour.

Small bubbletea shop that also serves pastries and Filipino meals…read more Their standout offering, of course, is the bubbletea. The tea is loose-leaf, so is elevated from the typical bubbletea. But it's the tapioca that really makes the drink shine with how fresh and bouncy they are. For a tea shop, this place also has really good food. Tried the scones and they were super buttery, very flavourful, and were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside like all great scones. We also got some Filipino meals - the lechon kawali and lumpia super crispy, the bangsilog had a good portion size for the price, and the halo-halo was refreshing. Place is mainly a takeout spot, but there are a couple of small tables to sit 4. Service is friendly. Tea offerings are extensive. Worth a drop-by.

Walking in, there's a great amount of cakes, cookies, and drinks. Cookies: The matcha white chocolate cookie was freshly made. Quite soft and delicious. Reasonably sized cookie. Yema cake: It was my first time having the Yema cake so I was looking forward to try it. I got the ube flavour and a soft chiffon cake texture. It wasn't too sweet and was perfect for a nice small dessert. The staff were friendly and the service was good. It's too bad there's limited seating as it would be great to dine-in. I definitely want to come back to try out their drinks!
