What I loved about Kung Fu tea is that they can adjust the lightness or heaviness of the drink. I got my usual taro with no toppings, no boba and no sugar/honey and it was lighter than the usual coconut milk toppings with sugar and boba. Spouse had "light fruit", no sugar, no boba. I really consider this the best bubble tea in Toronto. They are always consistent with their tapioca quality too, they are always soft and never get hard like other places in the city. Such a cute little store and you get your boba in like 2 minutes, very fast service. read more

Came here with a friend as they were having a special. 3.88 for a milk tea with tapioca, aloe and grass jelly. My friend got a brown sugar bbtea with tapioca. This place uses honey as their sugar source. Standard customization options of honey and ice available. Milk tea was okay, tapioca had good chew, aloe had a nice firmness and grass jelly was soft and smooth. Overall, pretty comparable to coco or Chatime although I felt the milk tea a little watered down. Service is fast but thats because there were like 5 employees just for the two of us. Their drinks are good--quite similar compared to those in the area--but I would say the price point is a bit higher than competitors in the area. The quality of their tea is a bit better though, in my opinion. I generally don't like very sweet bubble tea and cutting the sugar level to 30% was good for me. That being said, I believe their standard sugar levels are not as high as Coco or Chatime. There is very little space for seating, but the provided areas are quite cozy. There wasn't any ice in the drink (as you can see from the pictures) so clearly there was no ice, but I'm not too sure about the sugar levels... felt like 50% sweetness if I were to take a guess? - Overall, the drink was very clean tasting - not overwhelmingly/sickly sweet as some fruit teas are. - However, the lychee taste was very faint and there was virtually NO tea taste. Just tastes like lychee juice really- nothing special. I like the quality of the tea, it taste better than some of the others bubble tea shops in the are. I recommend sticking to their traditional top 10 signature tea or milk teas. They also have a loyalty program and if you collect enough points you can redeem for free topping or drink. The customer service is not the greatest, because most times when I go, they can't speak English very well, so just be mindful of that. This is the first time I've been to the Mississauga location. I've been to the DT and North York locations but never this one. I do like their bubble teas but the service in Mississauga is pretty dreadful. The staff appears to be unfriendly and the cashier gave me wrong information. I asked if the Matcha Red Bean had any milk since I can't have any dairy she simply said no. So I ordered it. After waiting about 30 mins, they gave me the wrong bubble tea which was a Mango Slush with red beans. They immediately made another one for me and gave me the right one. Couple days later when I was looking through their website, I found out the Matcha Red Bean had milk. I am extremely disappointed. Please do not trust the staff, look through the website/menu and check the ingredients yourself. I feel like they'll tell you anything because they're in a rush to clear the line. The main thing anyone wants is quality . I love Taro slushies from kung fu tea. The guy handed it off to me and it had broken straps so I took two steps away and the whole thing fell out of the bag and on to the ground and I did not get to drink it . Then I go in the app to tell the owner of kung fu tea that the bag was faulty and the straps let through so the drink went on the ground they do not give refunds . Well as many as I have purchased and you can't have the decency to refund my money when you're packaging was faulty and my drink went down on the ground give me one good reason why I should go back to you again ever and spend money and what's wrong with Uber Eats that you can't get a refund anymore if something goes wrong all these apps are not making things better they're making them more impersonal and making it easier for the seller to screw over the person purchasing the item more disappointing than I can even say businesses need to care about their customers evidently Kung Fu does not care about their customers quality so I guess I won't go back there read more

Didn't enjoy our visit here too much. Service is really unpleasant, not friendly at all. This is really in contrast to the Chinatown location which has really friendly peeps working there. Aside from that, the location is a little strange. There's just some seating at the window, and a small uh, nook, I guess at the back, where you can sit at some tiny tables. I didn't notice any actual tables, even though there was enough room for at least two. As far as the tea goes, they were inconsistent. The three teas we ordered were all supposed to be half sugar, but the Kung fruit tea and tieguanyin tea were way too sweet, where mine was acceptable. Again, the Chinatown location seems much better. Friendly service, and consistently good teas. Dunno if I'd come here again since there are so many options in the area. read more

Cramped place around 1:00-2:00. We ordered a chocolate waffle. They said it'd take 6 mins, the machine broke and it took like 10 mins more. After I tried it, I didn't mind the wait since it was pretty good. ($5) This was my first time trying it so I didn't really have anything to reference it off of. It was cakey and light. what else can I say about this place. I had an unpleasant experience here. I came here and ordered the mango chunks with green tea. The picture as advertised had mango chunks. However when I received the cup, there were no mango chunks. I only saw a few strands of mango. I felt burned and felt it was false advertising. Additionally, the server didn't ask me for sugar level. When the drink came, I told them that I wanted less sugar so I told them to redo it. I tried the TieGuanYin Latte and the Rose Milk Tea with grass jelly. Both were okay for about $6 each, not amazingly special. I think there needed to be more flavour and texture mixed into the drinks. This is especially true for the Rose Tea Latte. They do make up for it in the fast service. I literally heard one guy telling other server to be faster as they made the drinks. The drinks came within 5 minutes of ordering. Place is kind of small with little seating. It seems to be more for takeout than sit-down cafe. The entrance has a few stools and the back has few more seats. The tapioca here is very Q and chewy and sweetened in brown sugar syrup. The tea here is good quality and you can actually taste it. The shop has a zen airy feel with bench seating in the back and bar seating in the front. It's not a large space but enough for small groups of friends to catch up or for individuals to study. First time at this place as I was attracted by their specials on their windows. Turned out it was daily special for a limited time only so I decided to order a large size mango slush. Their store does have a nice decor and some nice little couches and design but it feels really cramped. The heat is also too strong imo. More of a takeout place than a sit down bubble tea place. Decided to try their Pearl Milk with Brown Sugar. The drink was super creamy. The tapioca was on the sweet side - they make them with brown sugar. For the Pearl Milk with Brown Sugar drink, the sugar levels and size is preset. However, you can still choose ice levels. This place is A-OK. I've visited 3-4 times now and a few things are pretty consistent, the wait times are a bit much for bubble tea, I understand they've recently opened and seem to be working out some kinks but the system they have in place seems to be really bad. I'll see them preparing the bubble tea and a few times I've seen it just sit in the machine that seals the drink for quite a few minutes before I finally get it. They have quite a few people working in the back making the tea but it still somehow is so slow. Service has been pretty nice and they've had some promos for their opening month which have been great. As for the actual bubble teas, I have found that less sweet is better, the tapioca has a sweet brown sugar flavour so keep that in mind when ordering that your drink will be extra sweet if you have the tapioca. Some of the drinks like the brown sugar milk tea I think are literally just milk and tapioca but it gets a nice brown sugar flavour from the tapioca, we also tried the chocolate latte and it seemed that like might have just been chocolate milk and tapioca so I would recommend asking what the ingredients are before ordering unless milk and tapioca is your thing! The cafe is really small but there are a few spots for hanging out, it's very cozy and has a really nice sweet brown sugar smell that hits you as soon as you open the door. I don't think I'd want to hang out inside as it's quite limited, I think it's more of a takeout place. Overall not bad, let's hope they adopt a better system to start getting the drinks out quicker, but for now, there are better places out there! read more

I went to this bbt spot today and I got the Pearl Milk with brown sugar. The tapioca balls were very warm and chewy. Now, I know it's just milk and brown sugar tapioca but I like simple. It was tasty. I'm not sure if I'll go back again, maybe if I am in the area? I also got the Grapefruit Green Tea with Agar Bubble. I only took a sip as I wasn't trying to consume that one in its entirety on the same day. That sip wasn't bad at all. But the cashier did tell me it was really good. So far my sip was good. This place has poor customer service. The staff seem more interested in chatting amongst themselves than helping customers with questions to drinks. The cashier who took my order stayed silent throughout my entire experience: she did not ask for the ice/sugar level on my drink, nor did she even tell me my total. This is rather disappointing and rude, as even some vending machines have the basics of customer service etiquette. I ordered their ginger milk tea, and to my surprise, it didn't come with tapioca even at that price point. Overall, please don't waste your money by coming here. A nice place to eat with your family, the food comes fast but it's kinda expensive

The customer service here is trash. The 2 servers (1 of them looked like a manager/supervisor) only chat away by themselves and don't want to serve you, or will speak to you in a very rude tone. The moment I entered the store, the server rushed me to order right away. I told him I needed a moment to take a look at the menu (because I literally just walked inside the store), and he still says "so what do you want". I decided to just disregard his aggressiveness towards me and looked at the menu. Meanwhile, I could feel him glaring at me rushing me to order. So after 15 seconds or so, I asked for a Rose Oolong Tea with tapioca. He looked at me like I'm stupid and acted like he didn't know what tapioca was since on the menu it says "pearl" like okay... Also, the drinks are terrible in comparison to the Chinatown and Waterloo location. It tastes so bad I took a few sips and didn't even bother finishing it. The bubble tea is made pretty quickly but they seem to have too many workers for a small shop like this. I love the brown sugar milk tea and the taro milk tea. Brown sugar makes the tapioca taste sooo good. There is not very much seating but it's usually pretty empty, so me and my friends are always able to sit there for as long as we want without any customers waiting to sit down.
