Attractively designed location with a split level format and very well maintained. Both times I went just after 10pm, it was surprisingly empty unlike the places closer to Finch so I had it pretty much to myself and it was a really nice place to take a relaxing break. Japanese Burnt Coffee: Normally I refuse to buy iced coffee drinks (pay 30% more to get half volume of ice or slush??) but this caught me off guard as I never saw it on the menu at other Presotea locations, and being a coffee guy, I couldn't resist. Initial taste was really good. A strong flavour similar to Vietnamese coffees, also reminded me of European blended coffee drinks though much less creamy. The Tapioca balls didn't add anything but the process of chewing them slowed the drinking down and helped savour each mouthful longer. The only problem was it wasn't blended thoroughly enough so the bottom third was much less intense. Best cold coffee drink I've had in a long time, but it came out to almost $8 (was not priced on the menu board). If the taste had been consistent all the way to the bottom, it would almost be worth it. However I'm glad I tried it and maybe I'll do it once or twice a year as a light alternative to dessert. Taro Latte (cold): My first time having this so nothing to compare it with, but I wanted to give it a try for a long time since I've liked virtually everything-Taro I've ever tired. Ordered it half sweet which was OK although perhaps 1/3 sweet would have been even better. It was pleasant, I was getting some Taro flavour but at the same time there were tastes which reminded of Hazelnut syrup and simulated Caramel which made me wonder what was really in the mix they used. But there were no funny aftertastes which usually follow artificial or engineered flavour packs so I didn't feel bad about it. However I think the mellow, comforting taste of Taro is better expressed in a warm Latte, or perhaps a more viscous drink like a smoothie with Banana & Avocado.

First time I almost ever choked on a bubble tea was in here. I ordered a milk tea with tapioca and it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet but could have used a bit of a boost of flavour. Staff was nice. Store not too busy. Enough room to do work or whatever. I would come again.

OK BBT shop beside my work but pretty overpriced for what it is worth. Quiet but gets a lot of traffic because there aren't bigger names like coco's or chatime around (those are further down Yonge street). Pretty good drink selection but be prepared for a slight markup. I honestly always feel disappointed (but still go back) because they don't put enough toppings in a large and they advertise putting passion fruit seeds but they don't. I ordered the Passion Fruit Green Tea with pearl and jelly. Regular is ~$6.50

Pretty good place for bbt, drinks can be hit or miss. The drinks that I recommend include their mango slush, avocado slush, hokkaido milk tea, passionfruit green tea and matcha green tea red bean slush. The ones I wouldn't recommend is their brown sugar ginger (too sweet), jasmine tea (very bitter) and matcha milk tea (also too sweet and mild matcha taste). Their tapioca is very top notch though, and I hear that their cooking process is very precise.

By far one of the worst mango slush i've ever had. It wasn't even cold when I got it. Would not recommend and would not come back.

Pudding was quite dense, was hard to drink up through a straw.

I had a hot Assam milk tea without sugar. The quality and flavour of the tea was pleasantly showing.

With so much competition in the area, this place needs to up their game. It's pricey, and not the best when compared to others nearby.

My favourite bubble tea in the area. The milk tea is flavourful and delicious. The tapioca is always fresh.

While we were waiting for our drinks we sat at this really cute window nook and just took in the peacefulness. The server was very helpful with tea selections and knew which teas paired with what flavours. I got the non caffeinated tea (picture) with honey, no sugar, with grassy, and no ice. My wife had a mango tea with foam. Our drinks were perfect. I love that it was zero fuss. Surprisingly not very busy but we did just have a killer snowstorm. I'm definitely coming back here more often.

I noticed this Chicha San Chen and wanted to check it out. Jason joined me to work off some of the ramen that he had devoured. I've been to the Chicha San Chen at CF Markville. This store is at least twice as big as that location. There were plenty of places to sit down and enjoy your tea. I had a couple of fruity sparkling drinks at the CF Markville place. I was going to ask the man behind the counter if he had them. Instead, he said that he'd be back and I could look at the menu. It was delivered in a not-now-I'm-busy tone. It was odd. It's the only reason why this place doesn't get five stars. I'm so glad that Jason was with me. He said that the woman at CF Markville suggested that he get the high mountain pouchong tea with lemon juice and konjac. I decided to go with this drink. I got this drink with less sugar and less ice. I paid with my debit card on my phone. I tapped and was done. It didn't take much time for this drink to be made. It was nice chatting up a storm with Jason as we waited. The moment of truth was here. My drink was ready. I took a sip. It was awesome! The foam tasted like lemon meringue. The tea was perfect with the lemon juice. The konjac was chewy. I haven't had konjac since I visited Song Tea eons ago (rest in bubble tea peace). I wish that this drink came in a larger size. I drank it too fast... haha! I had a great experience with my friend's recommendation. I like that there's lot of parking in this plaza. I'd return again for more good bubble tea. Maybe staff will be more cheerful then. (437)

**Fun Drinks, But Not the Best for Kids**…read more We stopped by **Machi Machi** to try their drinks and had a pretty good experience overall. We ordered the **matcha red bean drink** and the **mango drink**--both were delicious and definitely fun to try. However, if you're bringing kids who prefer simpler drinks, this might not be the best spot. My kids were hoping for a basic mango drink, which wasn't available, but they still enjoyed what they got. My matcha red bean drink also came with **three rice mochi on a stick**, which was a nice touch! The location itself is inside a **shared space with other restaurants**, so it's not a standalone shop. It's **not stroller-friendly** as there are steps inside, and I didn't see any **high chairs**, so it might not be the most convenient option for families with younger kids. While the drinks were tasty and unique, **it was almost $20 for just two drinks**, so it's definitely on the pricier side. I'd recommend it if you're looking for something different, but keep in mind the cost and setup before going!
