cookies n' cream bubble tea with extra oreo pieces
    Andrea A.

I've always wanted to visit this bubble tea place ever since they launched their opening. I was able to come by since I was around the area. I got cookies n' cream bubble tea with extra oreo pieces + brown sugar tapioca and 4 strawberry yogurt macarons. The macarons were a little too thick in my opinion and I wish it was a bit softer. Regardless, i love my order! They were so good. Hoping to try more drinks. I wish the light from afar coming to the location was a bit brighter, I wasn't sure if it was open. There was only one worker when I went as I had to wait a bit to order. Otherwise my experience went great overall.

When I found out I was headed to Toronto/Mississauga for work I knew I had to try some boba spots while in the area. Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. The area doesn't have much parking spots, in fact you'll likely park across the street at the little shopping plaza, If you want to visit here. The boba spot was surprisingly small, with only a few bar stools to sit at. I ordered their #2 the delux Tru tea snow cap. It was mediocre at best. On top of that the worker just wasn't inviting or friendly. Barely greeted me or said a word. Def wouldn't come back if I were ever in the area due to the average boba, limited parking and customer service or lack there of.

Truly one of the best bubble tea places! The drinks here aren't exactly traditional. They are slightly unconventional and on the sweeter side, but definitely still very good! My go to drinks? The mango trupioca, taro milk tea with sweet purple rice and their tru cake creme milk tea. I really like trupioca! It's the perfect alternative to tapioca for me; not quite jelly, not quite tapioca, still flavourful with a bit of a chew. I am not a fan of sweets and normally take my classic milk teas with 0% to 30% sugar, but Tru Tea's drinks always hits the spot when that craving hits! Can't decide between dessert or bubble tea? This is the perfect compromise.

Tru tea came out with a new series: Butter cookies series. I got the deluxe butter cookie snow cap milk tea and it's the perfect blend of Biscoff cookie crumbs combined with milk tea and cookie butter spread that will leave you wanting more! Because the sugar is customizable for this drink, I went with 0% sugar. And it came out perfectly! The sweetness from the cookie butter spread and the cookie crumbs bought just enough sweetness when combined with the sweetness of the milk tea! I also tried their deluxe purple yam tea drink. It's made with purple yam, sweet barley and topped with mozzarella cheese foam. Sugar level is fixed on this drink but it still wasn't overly sweet. I love the texture that the barley brings to the drink, and the cheese foam has a very mild cheese flavour so it doesn't overpower the tea or the purple yam.

I wished I tried this place sooner. The drinks were absolutely tasty, along with the macarons. They have a variety of options and flavours. The service is quick and it met my expectations. This will definitely be my go-to bubble tea place

Deluxe taro with purple rice and mango trupioca

Ordered the deluxe taro and mango trupioca which was both good. However, putting 4 stars due to slow service and trupioca was very bland. There was only one staff on a Sunday lunch and would accept and make one order at a time. Trupioca was bland however it was also my first time trying it so I wasn't sure what to expect but would prefer it to be a little more sweet.

One of the best bubble tea places I've been to. They taste very fresh and although their selection is limited, they are made with quality. The Tru cake creme is RIDICULOUSY amazing. Definitely would recommend this place and have been recommending it to people!

Tru-ly delicious fruity bubble tea! For the whole month of September they are doing BOGO on their icy yakult series featuring lychee , strawberry, and coconut. We added the peach jelly (a must try!) The do take a little longer as they are actually using real fruits so they need to blend each of their drinks. The staff was friendly and greeted me as I entered through the door, I would definitely come back.

One of my go to places for bubble tea especially with the milk foam drinks. My favourite is their Double Roasted Frosty w/ Mozza Foam! Give this place a try if you are looking to try something that's independent.

My student and I witnessed a minivan plow into a concrete barrier as we were walking over to Kenzo Ramen, steps away from Chatime. We both heard a crunch and knew that it wasn't good. The minivan, a minute later, drove towards us. We saw a huge crack going down the front bumper. I parked at the back of this plaza, where there is a store that sell diapers and adult incontinence pads. There used to be a Goodwill store, but a few new businesses have taken over. Anyway, after my student, a colleague, and I had finished eating a late lunch at Kenzo Ramen last Friday, we headed over to Chatime. I had a free birthday drink waiting for me. I decided to use it towards a regular QQ lychee juice, which comes with tapioca and coconut jelly. I didn't know where to line up after placing my order. I finally figured it out when I saw the small ledge through the huge lineup. I like that you can purchase reusable straws that come with a cleaner. I want to get the purple one. Each kit goes for $5. My drink was ready. I got it, and drove my student and I back to the office. The lychee juice was great. I managed to suck a tapioca ball the wrong way and went into a coughing fit in my car. Luckily, my student knows CPR and didn't have to administer it on me. I now realize that tapioca can be hazardous to your health. Anyway, the tapioca and coconut jelly were delightful when eaten safely and properly! I don't normally visit Chatime, but will definitely go back. I finally found a drink here that I love, minus choking on the tapioca. (209)

Its a cute and quite atmosphere. Decor is modern rustic with an open concept. I wouldnt take a first date here as the entire place can hear your conversations. It gets busy on fridays and saturdays especially during the summer time.. lines can easly be out the door. Found myself waiting average 20-30 minutes sometimes. They also dont take orders by phone sadly. Remember to sign up to be a member! Its free and youll get your 11th drink for free!!

He said "Yes". while looking down and preparing a label/doing something for a takeout order. If a Customer is standing right in front of you, shouldn't you be taking their order, not putting a label on a drink? Anyway, cashier was just preoccupied doing something else and just walks away, saying that he'll be right back. When he finally comes back and scans my App, he says, "Oh, you haven't made a purchase recently...I can't give you a free drink. I can only give you a drink if you buy one now on the App. The bday drink is not for new customers." Wow. Just a waste of time, terrible customer service, and bad impression for someone who'll never be a regular customer of this chain. Terrible.

Could this be Mississauga's hidden gem for bubble tea? Possibly…read more I came across this place by chance and decided to give it a try. I got 3 drinks: one Jasmine green tea, one classic milk Boba tea and one pineapple tea with Boba. I was not that big of a fan of the pineapple but loved the other ones. I don't like the Boba used as I find it a little too chewy and the taste isn't as good as other Boba pearls I've had. I find this one to have a bit of stronger taste. It's a small shop, but cute. There are board games available and it gives off a cozy/chill vibe. When waiting for your drink, there's a seating area near the door and even a game you can try. The timer/game gives you the chance to win a free drink on the house if you manage to get a perfect 10:00 score (I mean you manage to stop the timer on that time). Product was well packaged. Drink was not too sweet despite not having adjusted the sweetness level, which I liked. The only thing for me was the waiting time which took forever, as in more than 20 minutes to be served. It was busy and there was only 1 person working. 1 person for the entire place, to make drinks and take the orders. I can imagine how much slower it would be during peak hours. I went during non-peak hours and there was only 2 people in store sitting down, yet it took me over 20 minutes to get my drinks.
