Review as of Nov 1st, 2024: Enjoy some board games while drinking some bubble tea at this Mississauga Thirstea location! They only have a small selection of board games and a small dining area with few seating. They also have some cute bean bags for you to relax on and also some stuff plushies (as shown in the video) On Fridays and Saturdays they are open till 1:00am! Went here on a Friday night at around 11:00pm and wasn't busy at all. I got the watermelon green tea drink with grass jelly and brown sugar milk tea both in medium size with 30% sugar and less ice. I really enjoyed both drinks. Been here a couple times as I am a repeat customer. Next time, I'll probably try some of their best selling drinks!

Classic black milk tea with tapioca

I'm always very excited to try new bubble tea and decided to try this bubble tea shop because I was in the area. They have the usual selection of milk/fruit teas and I decided to try their classic tapioca black milk tea to compare the tea flavor to other bubble tea shops. I got my usual 30% sugar less ice and I thought the drink was average. There wasn't anything special in the tea that'll make me crave this drink and the tapioca was also average; not too soft, not too hard with a hint for sweetness. I would've liked the tapioca to have a little more sweetness. Many other reviews talked about the muddy milk tea so if I were to come back i would give that a try.

I think I've had bbt here before with Uber. Wanted to try this place and thankfully there's free parking at the back! But it is a busy intersection so be careful entering and exiting. Opening the door you can smell the sweetness of the sugar and teas it was really strong. Didn't know what to get so I got what they recommended which was the muddy milk. It'd essentially an alley deeroica. I got it with less ice and half sugar but it was still really sweet to me. Bit on the pricey end hut it wasn't too bad.

It's a fairly small shop, but a great place to relax and have fun with friends! They offer a variety of games to play; in fact, we spent over 2 hours just playing Jenga there. The drinks offered are significantly pricier than those at other places, but the quality is much better. In fact, Thirstea claims to use pure fruits and half-half cream - none of that powdery stuff you see elsewhere. If you look behind the counter, you'll actually find a fridge stocked full of half-half! I ordered the mango slush (asked the cashier whether he would recommend the mango or lychee, and he suggested the former). I asked for no additional sweetness, but it turns out you can't quite change the sweetness level! The drink was good, but as the ice melted, I came to realize that it was likely mango concentrate combined with ice. Come to think of it, it did taste like it. As such, compared to the Mango Diamond Slush offered by Real Juice, it may not be that good in value. My friends ordered the large creamy honeydew and taro slush with tapioca. Both enjoyed their drinks!

Brown Sugar Latte

An odd hole-in-the-wall location in Cooksville but the boba and drinks don't disappoint! I had their Brown Sugar Latte with tapioca, and my friends had the chocolate milk tea and honeydew milk tea. The drinks were all pretty good - but hands down the Brown Sugar drink was the best! It's their most popular flavor and it tasted fresh and delicious. Will definitely be back to try more flavors. The location isn't the best; but the interior was nice and clean, they had games and the staff were attentive and super quick (we got our drinks in under a minute!). If you're in the area, definitely give ThirsTea a try!

New BBT place in Mississauga!!!! Stumbled upon their instagram page on my feed and ohhh emmm geee you have no idea how excited to see something opening in the hood and not all the way in the far east! Thirstea is opened in the south east corner of Hurontario and dundas. Very hidden in a plaza ive never visited. Parking lot was very busy, I almost couldnt find a spot. But i did see a sign saying theres additional parking at the back. The must try is their creamy fruit series!! They use REAL FRUITS and cream. Not the powder drinks that you often get at bbt places. They are also the first in Mississauga that offers 24K gold topping for an extra cost! Loved the cozy environment. High bar tables and comfy bean bags. Board games and TV, lots of plugs if you want to work on your laptop here! Owners designed their cute logo. Come try this place when youre bored of the main chains ;)

Creamy watermelon and creamy honeydew

This bubble tea shop is a hidden gem in Mississauga, tucked in the alley of a plaza. They have lots of flavours to chose from and different variations - creamy, cheesy, fruit teas, milk teas, etc. We have here the creamy honeydew with tapioca and creamy watermelon with lychee jelly. Both were great and refreshing. You could really taste the fruits in the drinks. Check out IG: @ooi.eats for your next foodie adventure.

Red bean matcha latte, creamy strawberry

Hidden gem located in Mississauga. They got a wide range of selections. Some drinks are better than others. Not a fan of their milk teas or tapioca and grass jelly, I've had better ones at bigger bbt chains. However, I recommend their red bean matcha latte, and their special fruit teas. They are also currently doing grape theme. Grape green tea or creamy grape yogurt drink are my absolute favourite. A creamy grape yogurt drink might sound really weird but don't knock it until you try it!!

I hate this part of Mississauga and avoid it all costs, but when my gf told us a new BBT shop opened up... well looks like we were heading to Hurontario and Dundas! So the six of us made our way there on a Friday night, 30 mins before closing. Getting there and the location is super sketch, but once inside the shop, it's super cute and inviting! Tons of board games and they even have video games! I like how the ordering system is laid out for you in terms of, sugar level, ice and even how creamy you want your drink! I ordered the classic black milk tea and got the least amount of everything. 30% sugar, less ice and less creamy. Despite all this, it still tasted good! I may have preferred for the black tea taste to come through a liiitttle stronger, though. I tried a sip of my friend's mango slush and while it was okaaay, there was something off putting about it. I didn't get that full taste of a real mango. Maybe too much ice? They have a lot of interesting drinks and I do plan on coming back to try more, such as their taro! Oh also, the cups are super cute. That little curve at the bottom really changes a whole cup and sets it apart from other BBT places lol. All about the aesthetics! I like that they had games and it was nice to get in 2 rounds of Jenga before they closed. It is a small place though, and they only have one booth for a large group to play games. The other "half" of the establishment has bean bags and some chairs.

Strawberry Slushie

I didn't go there myself. I had t delivered. After eating ramen I felt the need to have some kind of beverage. Hence SkipTheDishes comes to the rescue! I saw THIRSTEA. Intriguing name. I ordered regular sized strawberry slush with 50% sugar and grass jelly. I love it! I love strawberries. It doesn't taste artificial at all. I also ordered Rose Tea Cheese Cap. It is surprisingly good. The foam at the top is cheese and beneath is a lovely rose flavoured tea. I got my drink 0% sugar with grass jelly. It taste so GOOD. I would definitely order again. There are plenty of choices to pick from. And I love how you can create the drink to your own liking. And so many toppings to pick from. Woot woot! Love it! October 29th 2018: I'm back!!! Got the Rose milk tea with grass jelly and 50% sugar :) LOVING IT!!!!!

Decided to give this place a try and I'm glad I did! The bubble teas don't taste like powder. I ordered the rose milk tea and Okinawa milk tea. I forgot to add tapioca but it still tasted pretty damn good. I'll definitely be coming back!

This might be our new favourite bubble tea place! Lots of great flavours and lots of things you can add in. I love that you get to choose the level or sweetness and level of ice! I also adore the cheese cap, omg. Everything we've ordered so far were great and we could not choose a favourite flavour.

The large drink is a creamy strawberry yogurt and the regular size is a banana milk tea ... both with tapioca
LiSa M.

This was our first time there and we fell in love at first sip! We will definitely go back to try the wide variety of flavours. It's a small space but they tried to make it a cozy hangout. Worth a try even if you just want to take your drink to go!

My rating is 3.5 stars…read more This Chatime is located in a highly busy plaza. My student and I witnessed a minivan plow into a concrete barrier as we were walking over to Kenzo Ramen, steps away from Chatime. We both heard a crunch and knew that it wasn't good. The minivan, a minute later, drove towards us. We saw a huge crack going down the front bumper. I parked at the back of this plaza, where there is a store that sell diapers and adult incontinence pads. There used to be a Goodwill store, but a few new businesses have taken over. Anyway, after my student, a colleague, and I had finished eating a late lunch at Kenzo Ramen last Friday, we headed over to Chatime. I had a free birthday drink waiting for me. I decided to use it towards a regular QQ lychee juice, which comes with tapioca and coconut jelly. I didn't know where to line up after placing my order. I finally figured it out when I saw the small ledge through the huge lineup. I like that you can purchase reusable straws that come with a cleaner. I want to get the purple one. Each kit goes for $5. My drink was ready. I got it, and drove my student and I back to the office. The lychee juice was great. I managed to suck a tapioca ball the wrong way and went into a coughing fit in my car. Luckily, my student knows CPR and didn't have to administer it on me. I now realize that tapioca can be hazardous to your health. Anyway, the tapioca and coconut jelly were delightful when eaten safely and properly! I don't normally visit Chatime, but will definitely go back. I finally found a drink here that I love, minus choking on the tapioca. (209)

Unfortunately, it was also very hot inside, no air conditioning to make it comfortable enough to stay to enjoy your order. The interior is starting to look a little tired, and the boxes on the floor and outdated posters don't help. Nonetheless, the staff was pretty cheery and explained some of the unfamiliar options. We went with the crispy tiramisu tea. The drink was very tasty, but there seemed to be a lot, a lot of boba taking up the container. We had to go outside of the store to get to a washroom, and a cool place to sit and enjoy our drinks. It's too bad because the aesthetic of this chain is usually much nicer and a better place to sit and finish your drinks.
