Came randomly during the evening on sunday, it was quite busy but got my drink really fast! Love how my points do not expire. and got to redeem a large drink. I used to go to the Noon Moment in Waterloo when I went to university there. I've been hoping they open one in the GTA area for quite some time, so imagine my surprise when I saw they had one in North York! I got my favourite, mango bubble tea with boba, and as always, it was yummy and filling. The service was also quick and efficient. I got my bubble tea in only a few minutes. 2020-02-23 Noon Moment. North York, ON. Not sure why I never wrote a review on the place, I've been here just about every time I'm in the area. Located in the Norfinch Shopping Center at the southwest corner of Jane and Finch, this plaza is always busy with lots of human traffic in the parking lot. There are plenty of spaces, but they're tight like most in Toronto. I regularly come here for Roast Meats at Yummy Wok n BBQ House, and when I do, I find myself succumbing to my kids and getting them Bubble Tea at Noon Moment. One of the few bubble tea places I know of in the area, it's actually not that bad. What drove me inside for the first time was a Japanese Tea made with brown sugar. That experience was actually a good one, and since then, my kids loved bubble tea. Inside, the place is narrow and long. The decor is kinda modern with a rustic feel. 2x4's line one side and there's a large wooden shelf on the other giving it a rustic feel. Noon Moment is a social cafe. With seating for about 32, the tables are moveable to accommodate larger gatherings. A place for friends to meet up and enjoy some tea and conversation. They also have board games and magazines for you to use, or to keep the younger ones occupied. Noon Moment also has a loyalty program. Before your transaction ends, enter your phone number on the tablet (as your account number) and you will get credit for every drink you purchase. Purchase 10 drinks, and the 11th one is free. They do not use your phone number for anything. You will never receive updates of any kind. No notification of new menu items, no spam, no updates on account status, nothing. So really, you have nothing to lose. Their menu is digital, but they do have printed specials every so often. Seasonal drinks and limited time offers which may become regular menu items depending on how the public receives them and whether or not they can procure the ingredients. Look for the on placards, window stickers, and floor displays. Heck that's how they got me in their doors the very first time with the Japanese Tea with Brown Sugar. No regrets that visit... Today we went with an original Milk Black Tea with Tapioca Pearls, less liquid sugar, and less ice. We also got a Pudding Milk Tea with Lychee Jelly, again less liquid sugar, less ice. These didn't taste quite as good as the with brown sugar, but my kids loved them anyway. 4 stars from my kids. To me, the place is just ok. The drinks I prefer are the simpler ones, no powdered flavors, just simple brewed tea with milk. If I order tea, I actually want to taste it. Here they do a decent job with their Milk Teas, and I'd rate them 3 stars, but being one of the better ones in the area, I'm bumping them up to 4. Great place to open a bubble tea shops are there aren't any existing ones there. I had the pear milk tea, I saw the way they make the milk teas was to order (they use a tea bag and put it under an espresso machine that steeps the tea) which is similar to how Presotea makes their drinks. I gotta admit, the first time I came here, I wasn't impressed. The second time though, completely changed my opinion. I first came here during my lunch break after noticing the cute sign. I wasn't sure what to get so I played it safe and got two mango diamond, which is mango slush with real mango pieces. What didn't impress me was the inconsistency in volume. In my picture, you can see that one is filled more than the other. The taste on the other hand was pretty good. The second time i went here I decided to order a specialty drink: Fresh fruit four seasons green tea. This drink has watermelon, lime, orange, strawberry, kiwi, and passion fruit in it and OH MY GOD the fruit fused with green tea tasted sooooo good. The fruits and green tea were perfectly balanced and very refreshing to drink. A fork is also included to eat the fruits after lol. A really cool thing that I noticed is that there is an espresso type machine that the baristas use to brew the tea bags. Each drink uses one tea bag and are brewed to order. It was new to see a bubble tea place so close to home so I had to try! First time I came, they messed up my order, but the drink still ended up tasting great so I didn't mind to much. There are a lot of places to sit down and they even have board games and cards for you to play with The best thing about this place is their prices for the bubble tea, their bubble tea is very cheap compared to other places. Try the brown sugar jelly, i think it's not on their toppings list, but ask for it anyway. The reason they didn't get five stars is because I still like chatime, gong Cha and tenrens better. BUT, I will be a regular here simply because of the location. If the line is ever long for any bbt spots, I simply don't wait and leave. The same goes for a coffee shop. HOWEVER, I asked the guy making the drinks and he said you can CALL AHEAD to have your drinks made so you don't have to wait (if this is your issues). Best best best original milk tea ever. Call me basic but i dont usually order that until i took a sip out of my cousins drink. Since then i have been having a few every week. I know its horrible but bubble tea became a way of life after discovering this joint near me. I also had the hokkaido milk tea with pudding, that was really good too. It might be bit too sweet for some, so reduce sugar to preference. Some unpleasant experiences include the pretty passionfruit purple/blue drink on their promotional banner. It was disgustingly sweet couldnt taste anything but an absurd amount of sugar. Also the mango smoothie and other non basic drinks werent the greatest. This place looks soo cute from the inside. The interior is everything and it s end to be all that they really care for. I'm a big milk tea type of girl and I'll be the first to say that the milk tea here absolutely sucks. The tea is verrrry watered down. The second time I went I ordered my tea without ice with the hope of getting a better milk tea taster without the watery taste. The third time I went it was still watered down, this time however the powdered milk was the the bottom the the cup and disputed all my efforts the shake that lump of powdered milk it just wouldn't go away. The flavours and pricing is good! The only issue I had is that the cashier didn't take my order properly so I had to pay a whole separate order for the ones she didn't charge me for and I did confirm with her that I wanted 3 of the same drink and not one and she agreed and punched it in, maybe it's my fault for not double checking the receipt but she did say she confirmed my order. Other than that the drinks are good, atmosphere is nice! Only 2 workers (cashier, and drink maker) so expect to wait if there are a lot of people. The sizes are small, large and extra large. When you order your drink there is no sugar or ice adjustments. I ordered the matcha tea latte and it's not as sweet as the original milk black tea. The matcha tea latter was a bit watery but the tapioca had a nice texture and was sweet. The original milk black tea was sweet and creamy which was nice so I would recommend the original more then the matcha. I ordered one matcha and two original but only two came. After a while I went up to the counter to ask where the third drink went and they said someone must have took it so they made our third drink fairly quickly and apologized. I've been to the location in waterloo and when I realized they opened up in north york it was definitely going to happen. This location was kinda ghetto, but once you walk inside it feels completely different. The atmosphere is very clean and colourful and welcoming. Its very open when you walk in, plenty of room to wait for your drinks, but seating is kind of a long row, trailing down the restaurant (which makes the most sense logistically). The staff were super friendly and helpful for my more indecisive friends. They gave good recommendations! My favourite drink of all time is the mango diamond slush in the biggest cup you can see and taste the chunks of fresh mango in the drink, you can also see when there making it that they scooped out the chunks from real mangoes earlier that day. My friends got a green apple slush, and the other got a strawberry banana slush; both tasted pretty good - nothing bad but nothing extraordinary. It was exciting to know there's a bubble tea shop in the area. I went to try it and it was alright and not so tasteful like other shops. The wait time is about 10 mins since there's only two workers making drinks and there were a few customers. I ordered a seasonal fruit tea, it honestly tasted flavourless, basically just tasted like water. The mango slush was made with with real fruits which was good. As for the milk tea, the tea base was so light it was just like drinking milk with water. Not quite sure if I would return, maybe if I'm close by and need a drink. read more

I prefer CoCo's or Chatime but this place is a gem in the JF area. I'm pretty basic so I always get either regular bbt or roasted with grass jelly. I do feel like its kinda watered down but still the best in this area if you want classic bubble tea. Can't say much about the rest of the menu, but I've had family/friends get smoothie items and they weren't too pleased. The decor here is really nice, they keep it pretty clean and they have boardgames :) I also see lots of people hanging out with their friends here. The honeydew milk green tea has too much chunks too either too much powder, little to no mixing, or they use warm water instead of hot to mix the powder. Terrible.
