Check your coupons. Mine said "any good item" and the fine print did not limit it to an entree. I get to the window and my coupon is not honored. I canceled my order. The attitude from the cashier was the icing on the cake for me. Instead of making it right, she acted like I was beneath her for using a coupon. read more

I don't know what's up with Tropical Smoothie today. I ordered a mango strawberry and a Caribbean way - waited 20 minutes - both came out awful watery I think they got confused with someone else's orders - no receipts no name. I understand there's a learning curve with new Young Folks just making smoothies but there should be someone experience to keep a watchful eye on things. Today was a waste of my time and money! read more

The girl working the register at ~3:50 today told us to pull forward at the drive thru after I ordered a açaí bowl. Instead of telling us that she was unable to ring it up due to "inventory" when we were ordering she had us wait in line while she talked to her friend in front of us. In those 5 or so minutes she kept looking back at our car, just to continue showing eachother something on their phones. guess wasting customers time was less important then gossiping. Husband and I will be going to the other location from now on. read more

It's good for food allergy sufferers if you do your own research before going. Check all allergen info and menus online and triple check in store. The associates don't know allergen info easily so I believe this to be an issue of poor training. That said, their açaí bowls are a blend of acaj and other fruits, so if you're allergic to specific fruits, be weary. I really do enjoy the açaí bowls and enjoy the fact that they can be made to be dairy free. read more

This happened around a month ago but I was reminded about this once I drove by today. I had ordered an island green smoothie and a cheese and chicken quesadilla. INSTEAD, I got a sausage and egg breakfast quesadilla (which was nasty) and an ALIVE smoothie. I was noticing I was getting a stringy consistency in my smoothie but I get this all the time so I brushed it off. When I got home I decided to pull it out of my mouth to see what it was. No joke when I saw it looked like little white worms. Never have I ever had this in the smoothie so no one can tell me it's anything normal I used to get this smoothie at least once a week. Immediately threw it out and the quesadilla so I ended up with nothing. I used to be a loyal customer but now I will NEVER come back. read more

Pina colada Smoothie- so refreshing and fruity, love the combination of banana and coconut! My favorite so far... Peanut paradise smoothie -a bit overly sweet, not ebkufh peanut butter, I would probably not get it again. Buffalo chicken sandwich (breakfast) - it was good, smaller than I expected, easy to eat, mostly lettuce and tomatoes with grilled chicken. Very healthy option! I do like that it's near all of my favorite stores and it's easy to park, the inside of the restaurant is opened, the manager made the sandwich, so it came out pretty fast. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seatings, which will be nice to hang out at once the weather cools down. read more

Not only does it take 3x as long as any other TS I've been to, but now it's not just about a good smoothie. The cashier today decided to make an unwarranted and unwanted political comment to me when handing me my smoothies. I won't return to this location. read more

Super long wait for my Peanut Butter Cup smoothie...I was the first in the drive thru. Ordered one smoothie. No special requests. Still took 10 minutes. And then the smoothie itself it's too that great. Very little peanut butter. So disappointing. They have a great selection of food items in addition to smoothies so if you want a smoothie, go to Smoothie King in the same shopping center. All they do is Smoothies and it shows. read more

Absolutely terrible. First of all there were about 5 workers in the store and about 2 of them were working. Took me about 15 minutes to order after waiting 5 at the start. Then i got my grilled cheese and the cheese wasn't even melted nor was my chicken hot, it was freezing cold. read more

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is the latest store that opened up in the first phase of The Pavilion at Durbin Creek in the Saint Johns area. The first phase will house a multi-tenant shopping area and once complete, will rival the local Jacksonville shopping areas like the Town Center. Being a new store, the store is nice and clean. Very attentive staff, so attentive that during the time I am placing my order, you have 2 other employees listening as well, so they can get a head start on what to make. Menu board is big and detailed (it even shows the calories). Nice modern decor inside. Inside seating about 40+, and outside there is enough seating for 16 people. Great location and place to meet up with friends and just chill outside (or inside). read more

The smoothies are always good but the wraps are horrible. There is always so little chicken in my wrap. This last time it didn't even cover both sides, one side was the veggies with the dressing and the other side was a few pieces of chicken (barely noticeable) some lettuce and no dressing. This happens every time I visit this location. I don't go to this location very often even though it's the closest to my house because there are always issues with the wraps and I love tropical smoothie wraps in general. I don't have this issue at any other location. I think maybe they need more training and better quality control. read more

Poor communication and service. Ordered a sandwich and they asked what side I wanted. Went thru options but never mentioned that the one I picked was an extra fee. As soon as I paid I noticed that to add a smoothie to my meal was only 4.89 so I asked to add it and was told it was too late I would have to pay full price. Really too late?? It was 30 seconds ago. Ridiculous! First and last time going to a Tropical Smoothie. read more

So freakin delighted to have this gem around. It's the perfect "post run- ‍, I need my protein to be delicious, but I'm lazy" spot! It could also be a quick smoothie spot for an indulge day, without going too crazy on your calorie intake. Along with the delicious combinations of smoothies that they have, they also serve delicious sandwiches, enchiladas, wraps and salad bowls. My significant other, loves his tropical flavored chicken enchilada with his banana-chia-boost smoothie. Having this place in the upcoming Durbin neighborhood, has been very convenient and fun! You can absolutely go watch a movie at the Cinemark and get a smoothie on your way back! Isn't that an amazing way, to avoid sodas and get some good nutrition in? Absolutely delighted for my quick lunch break drive through, without having to burn the pocket and your nutrition goal for the day. read more

I've noticed this location is always super busy, especially at lunch time - I now know why! The food is really good. The southwest breakfast wrap is delicious and extremely reasonably priced. The smoothies are too sweet for me so I have to get them with half turbinado, and it's perfect to me! Most importantly, the staff are AMAZING. They are so sweet and always so friendly. 5 stars for multiple great visits. read more

While I should give less than 4 stars, I decided not to since the mistake that was made was minor. Very clean environment, the staff was friendly. I did have to wait 15 minutes longer for my smoothie because they forgot about my order. Otherwise, a great location. read more

A tropical smoothie fan- but I'm just not a fan of this location and it's management. When I arrived- no one was inside. Therefore- I had to scream over and over again for close to a minute and change to see if anyone was there to tend to me. The gentlemen that was working, which appeared to be the only one working came out (apparently getting dressed) but he certainly came out with an attitude as if I was disturbing him. He didn't apologize, or excuse himself but just took my order which he didn't do correctly and went on with his business. This was at 9am! I don't know what set up they have here but I do know I've walked in to other locations where they are fully staffed and sweet. Please work on your staff and hospitality. read more

Super excited to hear about this Tropical Smoothie in Durbin Pavilion, especially because it has a drive-thru! I have only used the drive-thru at this location since it's quick and good for on the go stops. I have been through this drive-thru a few times and have always had a great experience! Staff is super friendly and they really do get the smoothies out quick to you. One time I stopped by after visiting Veterans Dog Park down the road with my trusty pal and the guy working the window gave me a little cup of peanut butter and a dog treat for my pup while we waited for my smoothie and wrap to be made. read more

Went to the drive through and was welcomed with rude service. Got to the window and received the same thing even after being as pleasant and thankful as possible. I ordered two Island Greens and a caprese chicken sandwich. The sandwich was good but the smoothies were awful! Each sip tasted like cold hobby water with chunks of fruit, spinach, and ice. Nothing smooth about it. We couldn't finish it. It's a shame when you spend $6-7 on a smoothie to get rubbish service and amateur drinks in return. Two stars because of the sandwich. Keep the sandwich maker, fire everyone else! read more

My family and I stopped here while on vacation because we love Tropical Smoothie. Wow were we disappointed. The service was not good and none of my families good was ready at the same time. I come to this location often bc it's close to home and have learned to overlook the fact that the smoothie cups usually have smoothie dripping down the sides and the customer service is lukewarm at best ...but today I've had it- the kale apple slaw was in the bag in a bowl with no top, covered in plastic wrap- it was careless and disgusting. The plastic wrap was twisted and full of dressing which was oozing out of the bottom. read more

Worst location I've been to drive thru took 60 min and then when we got to the window took another 20 min to get our smoothies. Didn't even get an apology or thank you for your patience. Looks like on the previous reviews they've always had issues with customer service and drive thru being slow for a while now but where is the resolution with management to fix this issue so it doesn't happen anymore? They also looked like they had plenty of staff to help out so I don't think understaffing was an issue. read more
