Every now and then you should treat yourself. Today was that day for me when I went to Natural Kitchen. I have door dashed them before but decided to drop in since I was at the OP mall. They're conveniently located outside near the AMC theatre. The Strawberry Boba Milk Tea was what I went with and did not disappoint. I would also recommend their Rose Milk Tea if you like soft milky flavors. I felt years of stress leave my body as I chewed on the tapioca. The service was great and the environment is very clean. Several people were in line for teas with many of their orders being very intricate. I kept it simple but it still was one of the best I've ever had. I also ordered a vegetarian bowl with mock chicken. The bowl was very filling and they didn't skimp me on any of the toppings. Natural Kitchen is my favorite "fast food" poké spot around. It's at the Orange Park Mall, but the entrance is on the outside so you don't have to go all the way in the building. Convenient. The bowls are always overflowing, super fresh, and made fast with a smile. My go-to is the Hawaii Sunset bowl. Infused with bold flavors with the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Firstly, it was HOT inside the restaurant. Today while I'm writing this review, it is a gloomy 73 degrees outside. They had the thermostat set to 77. Which brings me to point two, they had "fresh" food sitting out in the poke section... uncovered.. in a HOT restaurant. Ultimately, this will most likely lead to bacteria that causes foodborne illness to grow. (Temp danger zone for you all that like to google and fact check). This raises serious safety concerns. The restaurant was not clean at all. Kitchen area was gross. The windows at the pike station were filthy. We ended up only asking for two drinks. We saw them making it using straight syrup and a little fruit. We assumed it was going to be a nice natural, organic, fresh made, no natural flavors kinda tea place but we were very wrong. Needless to say, we aren't from Florida but we'll definitely never stop here ever again. There was nothing natural about this place, despite what its name suggests. read more

Came to Florida for MED TDY and I have been eating here for lunch every day. Whenever I go somewhere not on vacation, I try not to spend too much on food and eat at places that are relatively healthy. Natural Kitchen was one of the first results from when I Google'd healthy food. The food is absolutely gas and I have been getting a custom bowl every time. I have been consistently getting chicken here but my buddy that I brought one time tried the salmon and tuna and said it was also excellent. They have a wide variety of proteins, vegetables, and carbs to choose from considering it is a fast casual joint. I would rather go here than Chipotle if I were to get one of the two every day. The service is very good and it seems to be family run. They are always nice and there is little to no wait for the food. Perhaps I will try the boba at some point while I am here but there is no doubt I will be coming back for lunch because it is a solid, healthy option that fits my budget. 10/10. read more

New place at the Orange Park location! You won't miss it since it's right in front of the mall. Came here twice already for desserts only. We had the following: Bubble Milk Tea - good! It already includes boba with no extra charge! We also like their cup with a sealed cover (hard plastic) that will not drip when you shake your bubble tea. Hongkong Waffle - we ordered the original waffle with Roasted Matcha ice cream and strawberry, M&Ms, plus mochi for toppings. The presentation was definitely instragrammable LOL! We enjoyed it but it was quite pricey for $7.50. Maybe they can offer a scoop of ice cream? Because the roasted Matcha flavor was on point! Bubble Taro Green Tea - better than the bubble Milk Tea. The Taro flavor was distinct, we liked it! I appreciate the interior design, very spacious and plenty of tables. It can be confusing though when you enter. They have 2 lines, one for the desserts and the other for the poke bowls. I saw some customers going directly to the dessert line since it's the first counter that you will see. So FYI. I ordered this for dinner tonight and my daughter a Osmanthus Oolong and I got a peach slush cheese foam with coconut jelly at bottom & chicken breast chunks (ordered the meat for my silver blue Yorkie Queenie) bowl of most all the veggies, onions, raddishs, chic peas, carrots, half zucchini noodles for base and half spring leaves,( some other veggies Im probably forgetting, lol) with shrimp sauce oil & vinegar with seasme seed sprinkled and seaweed salad on top. This is one of my favorite places to get lunch. I love them so much that I got GrubHub plus just so I could order on a weekly basis during Covid. Now that I've moved across town I can't order it through Grubhub but I still go whenever I'm visiting family since it's a short drive from them. Recommendations Drinks: My number one favorite is the Bubble Brulee Milk Tea. I'm also a fan of green tea so I recommend Bubble Honey Green Tea (this used to be my go-to until I discovered the Brulee one). I tried the Bubble Taro Green Tea and while it wasn't as good as the other green tea one I did like it. It was my first time trying anything with taro in it and so it was interesting (I also loved the lavender color). Food: I always get a Create Your Own Rice Bowl as it's easier to decide what toppings I want. My go-to is spicy salmon. I've also tried the Create Your Own Burrito Bowl with chicken and while it was good (It's pretty much a giant sushi burrito !) I feel like you get way more food in the rice bowl. No matter how many ingredients I add to my bowls they never forget one which is pretty impressive since my list tends to be pretty long. read more

It had great space and had a desperation between the "sweets" and the "eats" which is a plus cause you wouldn't have to wait for dessert while others order their food or vice versa.. The service was awesome and staff were all very friendly. We ordered several plates, mine was my favorite! I had the vegetarian chicken which is actually a soy version of teriyaki chicken I had the zucchini noodles, seaweed, radish, kale, corn, black beans, red onion, garbanzo beans, edamame, wasabi peas, jalapeños, crispy onions and crispy garlic, creamy wasabi sauce and spicy siracha and daaannnggg it was soo good!! I was hungry after a lighter lunch today so I was looking for something that will fill me up but not make me feel so bloated that I want to fall asleep afterwards. I read two reviews about portion sizes being small. My Son got tuna and the scoop was over flowing and was plenty (he's 14). I did not find the portions to be skimpy at all (yes of course we would all like a huge scoop of tuna, but let's be real). The toppings are fresh and piled on top, the sauces are great, I went with sweet teriyaki and shrimp sauce. I found no water or juice at the bottom of our bowl as was previously mentioned. We are going to go FULL review by trying the waffle desert, which from the table next to us looked amazing. *** update- waffle desert is fantastic!!!!****** Bottom line is: it's great food at a fair price, and it's healthier than a fast food place. Even the brown rice was better than average! This place currently rates my highest recommendations and we will be back often. Our order- 3 poke bowls 1- tuna, 1- spicy salmon, 1- shrimp and chicken. With one fountain drink I and two cups of water= $32. A very good price. Sorry no pictures, as I was too hungry. Next time... I love their boba tea and if you have a sweet tooth like mine I recommend the brown sugar milk tea and the honeydew milk tea. Now, they have variety. You can get a bowl, or a burrito and switch it up with what kind of rice you want. In my bowl I got spicy salmon, pineapple, eda-May-May beans lol, crab meat, pickled ginger, and masago. I topped it with garlic and onion crunchies, and I chose poké special sauce, and spicy eel sauce. This was FIIIIRE! And definitely filling. The prices aren't bad either. Of course everything is fresh and made to order. After coming here the first time from the gym, i completely annihilated this bowl! I had to come back the second time for dinner to make suuure it was as amazing as I thought... and yes, it was. One small issue I have is, the scoops of your protein of course is determined by the person scooping it. For dinner, the man that gave me my salmon was very stingy....so I had to order a "double scoop" of salmon which is +$3. These 2 scoops amounted to the 1 scoop I was given when I had came for lunch. I wasn't too thrilled about that at all. But hey. This place is phenomenal and I will be back! They have bubble teas and waffle cones and all kind of goodies for every taste bud. Ok so i had their poke bowl. I ordered the build your own. With i think was 11.99, which got you a base, unlimited toppings (sans "premium toppings"), and unlimited crunchies and all the sauces you want. Not gonna lie. Their scoop that they use to portion your actual poke out is horrendously small. I mean like the size of a newborn's hand if you asked a baby to give you a handful of raw fish, lol. I ordered an extra scoop (extra 3 dollars, ugh) and looked that server straight in the eye and said "make em big. I need you to be the best scooper in town today." Mah boy did not let me down. He was a young kid, maybe teenager? I will go back as long as that boy is serving my poke. I got rice as a base. I wish it was sushi rice, like a short grain, slightly chilled chewy rice dressed with a like salt and some vinegar? But their rice was fine. Warm, fresh, cooked right. You'd be surprised at how many poke places screw their rice up. (How does an establishment that serves Asian food screw their rice up? See: BENTOS for exhibit A). Toppings were fair, i got jalapeños, radishes, cucumber, carrot, edamame, corn, pickled ginger, tobiko, and i even paid the extra 75 cents for the seaweed salad. Their crunchies were nice, i got crunchy onions and garlic and the snacking seaweed ('twas a little stale. But those roasted seaweeds absorb moisture FAST so i can't be mad). I wish their poke was already marinated, they only had plain salmon, plain tuna. And spicy salmon (which was just spicy Mayo salmon by the looks of it) so i just got the two scoops of salmon (2 big little scoops, mind you) and sauced it with soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, and some wasabi aioli. Ended up paying $15 for it, which was not bad considering the size and flavor! I was decently full. Not just satisfied. I'm only coming back there if that kid is working again, otherwise they're ripping you off with that crazy small scoop. 4 stars for that server! read more

Welcome addition to Orange Park Mall. Fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. Apparently they all came down from New York City. This is the 5th location and the 2nd in the FL. The other 3 are in NY. Super random to have a place like this in Jacksonville but a welcome addition. We got the bowls and they have been a flavor explosion. Their bubble teas delicious too. I can't wait to try their fancy desserts. One thing is for sure they are here to elevate the Asian food scene in Jacksonville. More detailed reviews to follow. read more

I have been to many restaurants with these type of food options (Gainesville and Orlando have a TON). Honestly they are some of my favorite and was really excited that finally Jacksonville is getting a place with poke bowls and Boba Tea!! I thought this would be right up my alley. I also had a similar experience. I ordered a salmon poke bowl and they gave me such a tiny amount of protein and SO much rice... I'm talking a small ice cream scoop that had maybe 5 small pieces... When I questioned them on the quantity (cause it was rather expensive) they denied me and said I needed to pay more for another scoop. I reluctantly did because I was SO hungry but was immediately turned off by the place and disappointed on how stingy they are on their portions I also asked for avocado as a topping in which to no surprise at this point they put a single slice... Ordered two Land & Sea bowls and they left out the shrimps on both of the orders. They only added the chicken. Each bowl was over $11 dollars. Make sure you watch when they're making your bowl. If not your bowl might be incomplete. Was expecting sea and land only got land. read more
