I'm not entirely sure how it's possible for businesses to appear to pop up overnight, completely built, on University. Yet, here we are again. Drove by last weekend and saw a brand new, painted building next to the Sonic. Sunday we stopped in because my husband wanted to give them a chance. We went through the drive thru and the menu was way larger than we expected! I was expecting maybe a dozen types of smoothies and possibly a few snacks, but the menu is very large. We asked for a to go menu at the window so we could look at it without the rush of a car waiting behind us. I was full, so I didn't want to order anything. My husband was in a grape mood, but didn't see anything with grape, so we went with the Blueberry Bliss which is blueberry, strawberry and banana. There appears to be only one size of smoothie, it was $5.69 for that particular drink, $6.17 with tax. Not going to lie, as soon as I saw that price I figured we were going to get screwed over with a tiny smoothie. However, while waiting for our smoothie at the window I saw smoothies being delivered to tables and they all looked to be about 24 oz. The lady at the drive thru was very polite and despite how busy they appeared inside, I don't think the wait was more than 5 or 6 minutes. With our receipt we were given a coupon, good until 8/1/22, that offers a 24 oz smoothie for $1.99 with purchase of a food item. They also have an app for reward points and you can get a free smoothie after your first purchase if you download it. While I have always thought $5-6 for a smoothie was too much, and inflation isn't going to change my mind on that, I have to admit it turned out to be a better deal than we originally thought. First, it was clear they were using real fruit and not a lot of extra sugar, which resulted in a delicious, light and refreshing drink on a hot day. Second, we ended up splitting the smoothie and only got through half of it right away. Later, I saw that it still had the smoothie consistency and wasn't melted or warm. You could potentially nurse this thing for hours. That does offer a draw for me. One of the main reasons I don't do smoothies too often is I usually can't finish them before they get all watery and I try to avoid wasting food if I can help it. I did see that they had kid size options that are 12 oz, more my speed, especially if I get it with food. But they only had 3 options that size, so maybe not the best selection for someone with my typical grazing habits. I went back and looked at the menu later. The smoothies are separated by veggie, fruit blends, tropical and balanced fusions (acai, oats, peanut butter, chia, etc). There were about 20 options. They do offer supplements and add-in's, but I didn't actually notice that when we went through the first time and would only do that if I was substituting an entire meal with a smoothie. They offer flatbreads, wraps, sandwiches, salads and quesadillas. There are a few options for each and the flavor combinations seemed varied and some were quite interesting. It appears to mostly be chicken, a couple turkey options, a plant based substitute and vegetarian options. Items are listed by calories and if they are gluten free, vegetarian or plant based. That alone makes me think they will do very well in Denton. I'm not any of those things, but it's important to know what you're getting, especially if you have allergies. The kids menu and breakfast were all $5 or less, the lunch items seemed to be $6-8. The sides were under $2. After our experience with their smoothie, this seems like a good deal. However, until I try their food I honestly have no idea if their portions are worth it. I will have to update once I have tried more items. This was my first visit to any location, so I am not sure how they compare to others in the chain, but it was a pretty good first impression and I like having these offerings in this convenient location.

Tiny yet expensive Thai Chicken Salad... I'd pass on it.

Ordered delivery through Uber eats and was tremendously disappointed in my $9.09 plus tax Thai Chicken Salad. It's about the size of a side salad, had maybe a half chicken breast, and my extra dressing was left off. The smoothies seem good, and my family seemed to like their Flatbread, but I'll never order food there again.

Super good reasonably priced and usually not a long wait. I've come here pretty often and never had a bad experience or an incorrect order.

There are corn cakes, for those eating gluten free, if you're still wanting pancakes. They're decent. The cinnamon rolls are huge, & not a typical cinnamon roll, as they're made from scratch. Covered in icing! Biscuits are layered, & delicious. French toast is really good, but it's also the same dough used for biscuits, so it isn't like your normal slice of bread French toast. The coffee is from "Avoca," a local roaster in Fort Worth. Sooooo good. Lot of options for the fancy coffee drinkers, at the coffee bar BTW Prices: about $10-20 a plate. Pancakes are pretty big, so you will be full. Everything is reasonable for portion size, compared to price Environment- hipster. Open, can be loud if music is loud, making everyone else talk louder Service- you walk up to the register & order. Menu is on wall, as well as some handheld menus if waiting in line. So you don't have anyone coming to your table, everything is self serve, which is great I used to come here weekly, every Friday morning lol it's well worth stopping in and trying. Only issue I've ever had with it is parking, if it's during a crowded time lol

You seat yourself, but we had some trouble finding a clean table. Not sure what was going on, but it seemed like the people who bus tables were busy doing other things. Maybe expo? Then I was confused by how to get our drink orders (they give you one of those table numbers, and then the drinks area has a matching one they put out when your order is ready). So a little of a learning curve, but let's get to the good stuff: the food. This menu is unique and has something for everyone. I lean vegetarian, so I was looking for something on the lighter side. I got the caramelized grapefruit and a Bee's Knees, which is granola, honey, berries and warm milk. I chose the oat milk. I also got the blueberry latte with oat milk, which was actually a tea drink. It was a delicious combo. My partner got the loco moco with sausage and jalapeño butter, scrambled eggs and hash brown. He ended up wanting more than one sausage patty, but I feel like we will know for next time. His other wish was that the jalapeño butter would be more spicy. I will want to go back next time we are in Denton, because I appreciate any restaurant that spends time finding unique flavors and menu offerings, especially for people like me who are not into the typical heavy breakfast menu items. Give it a try!

The place is decked out with brunch esthetic and the bartender was friendly as can be. We started with a Million Dollar Bloody Mary and a Spiked Watermelon Wake-Up, both of which were made perfectly. For food, we ordered the Chipotle Steak & Queso Hash and the Power Wrap, and both were excellent. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and was served quickly despite how busy they were. If you've been debating whether the wait is worth it, I'd say yes. Great food, great drinks, and a staff that handled a busy Sunday brunch like pros. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

The lemon ricotta pancakes were super fluffy, and the lemon curd on top added a fresh, slightly tart twist that made them stand out. The steak chimichurri hash was packed with flavor -- bold, savory, and balanced with a subtle sweetness that tied everything together really well. And the barbacoa bowl? Easily a 10/10. Great flavor, great balance, and incredibly satisfying. Overall, every dish hit. Definitely a spot worth coming back to if you're in Denton.

It's definitely a young, hipster vibe and lots of college students studying. I ordered a single espresso and they gave me some sparkling water with it. On this morning, quite a few two-tops were available. Fortunately, there was no need to sit by the bar as those stools had no backs. I ordered the Classic Breakfast. The buttermilk pancakes, of which I barely finished half, were very delicious. The sausage patties were equally delightful. The same could not be said of the syrup which congealed as it poured. Although the fried eggs had a pleasant taste, I failed to be more precise on how they were to be cooked as the yolk was liquified. When I ordered the Holiday Brew drip coffee, I wished the cashier had suggested the Bottomless Drip. As I usually drink more than a single cup, I could have saved some money. Regardless, the coffee had a very pleasant taste. When gratuity was requested, it would have been very beneficial to know for what I was tipping? When I ordered off the breakfast menu, the price was not for the raw ingredients but the cost of it being made. The same with ordering drip coffee. When I saw the silverware by the cream and coffee sweetener, I expected to grab my own utensils. As it was my initial visit, the sign to bus my own table was totally unexpected. It definitely explained why there were a lot of crumbs on the table. Since the sign was near the back, it would have been easily missed if I had not visited the restroom.
