We had the mint chip in a waffle cone-the cone is a very fine waffle-crunchy and fresh, the ice cream is very smooth and the dark chocolate chips were plentiful and cut nicely- not thick. We also had the ferra rocha- chocolate ice cream with crunchy candies. Not too sweet-very creamy except for the candies. I preferred the mint chip. Note-quart tubs available. Summary Delicious ice creams so many flavors! Nice variety of coffees. Wonderful spot! See you there!

The space was tidy and the air conditioner was blasting on this hot Texas summer day. Staff were friendly and asked us if we wanted to try some of their ice cream flavors before we ordered, which we took them up on. My wife enjoyed her slush (it was pretty large, too) and I enjoyed my filter coffee flavored ice cream. While their website states they are "one of India's foremost ice cream manufacturers" - and they do have flavors with a distinct Indian flair - they have several familiar classic American flavors too. Along with indoor seating, there are tables with umbrellas outside - that came in particularly clutch on a scorcher out there today. They have a few different "buy this get that for free" placards along the counter but we didn't select any of those on this visit. There are certainly some interesting/new ice cream flavors I will need to sample the next time we come in. All in all, we were pleased with our maiden visit and look forward to returning in the near.

I'm not used to eating ice cream in the middle of the day, but this is July, it's hot, and I and my…read morefriend are hungry. "How about an ice cream sundae at Beth Marie's?" My friend delightedly agreed. Beth Marie's, designed as an old fashioned ice cream parlor, serves up a plethora of ice cream flavors and confections. Some particular flavors that caught my eye were whiskey and coke and watermelon with chocolate chips. They offer other ice cream concoctions such as sundaes, malts and banana splits. Where does one begin with so many choices? But my heart was already set on a hot fudge sundae for old time sake and my friend decided to try one as well. Beth Marie's at the Denton Square location opens at 11:30 a.m. so it was perfect for our ice cream lunch and a cooling respite on a hot July day.

Ohhh... Beth Maries... Y'all can do better!!…read more I went out of my way for an ice cream at your cute little place; I had not been there in years. One employee (the only one there) was servicing a group of five or six people. They paid and left the shop. The employee looked at me and said, "I'll be right with you....(something something...mumble mumble...". He began packing pints and placing them in their little white (To-Go) bags... it took a very long time. Then he handed them to a DoorDash driver. (okay - that's what he was doing... a little communication would have been lovely) He then turned to me (no thanks for waiting... nothing). "What can I get you?" I (laughed, giving a little grace) told him what I wanted --a waffle cone with a small scoop of the Salted Caramel (push it into the bottom, please), and I would like to taste the Peterbuilt. So, he handed me a baby taste. I said it's really good, please add a scoop of that on top. He must've packed the bottom of the cone with the salted caramel, then added another salted caramel scoop, before adding a Peterbilt scoop (which I asked for, "not a large scoop, please"). I even said, "That's too much..." He didn't acknowledge. I asked him, "Do you not have any help today?" he said, "Well, we didn't plan on being so busy today ... Columbus Day...(mumble mumble); we are shorthanded. He placed the cone (wrapped in the messy napkin full of ice cream) on the scale that already had someone else's ice cream drips on it... How many people have also paid for his napkin full of ice cream, and others (who have already paid for) ice cream? I loudly said, "Thanks for charging me for the dirty napkin". I couldn't even see the iPad screen... I tried to tap my card, but couldn't tell if it had been accepted. He then said, "Did you want your receipt?" I replied, "Oh, it worked, I didn't even see how much it was...". $10 .... T E N dollars for an ice-cream cone?? Seriously? Not even a thank you... By then, another customer had walked in, and the employee moved on to assist them. There are so many issues with this visit... We won't be back, but I hope this review helps others prepare for the upcharges of ice cream by the ounce. $.90 per ounce... and watch out for those extra napkins on the scale --they'll cost you! Oh ... your customers shouldn't be made to feel like an inconvenience!

This visit, we ordered a double bacon cheeseburger, fries, a strawberry shake, a grilled chicken sandwich, and a root beer. Flavor-wise, everything was good, and Braum's always has great ingredients, solid deals, and one of our favorite drink selections. The only thing that continues to stand out is the drive-through experience. It tends to feel a little low-energy and not as warm as I'm used to. The interaction at the window came across a bit cold and dismissive, which unfortunately takes away from an otherwise good food experience. I completely understand that everyone has off days, but it has been noticeable on more than one visit. The food still tasted great, though it was put together a little messily, and the fries were more lukewarm than fresh. Their deals and bag of burgers keep us coming back, and with just a little more care in presentation and customer interaction, this could easily be one of our favorite quick burger stops in Denton. Still a solid stop for good food, and I'm genuinely hoping the overall experience feels a little brighter next time.

I ordered the Gouda burger with no mayo combo and the nibblings got the quarter lb burger meal no tomato and a quarter lb with bacon burger plain. I enjoyed my burger, it was huge and flavorful. The jalapeños were plentiful so I had to take a few off. The bbq sauce and the jalapenos give the burger a perfect sweet and spicy taste. I like how you can get either a shake or a drink. I gave my drink to my niece and she decided on the cookies and cream ice cream made into a shake. You can choose any of the ice creams and make it into a shake. There were no complaints from the nibblings. My burger was actually really big and I was able to allow my nephew to finish it. We walked through the market and they have a little bit of everything. I didn't look at the prices but they have a wide variety and is truly a small grocery store with in the restaurant. I was happy to see my favorite Cesar dressing and a few other items among the selection. The portions and the price were very reasonable and we got a lot for our money. I'm glad we stopped and would definitely return in the future. I want to give the breakfast a try and try some of the ice cream flavors.
