Cookies were fine. My issue with this location is about service! First and foremost, to be a business open but deny customers use of a bathroom is RIDICULOUS!! Public bathrooms were created for women to use to add public health protections. Literally. Then, I ordered 4 cookies to qualify for the pack. My cookies were basic where the 4-pl was for the "upgraded" cookies. Did the woman explain that to me? No. She just charged me for individual cookies. Despite me saying out loud my goal. I greatly regret spending money after this experience. I for sure won't be back -- now will my friends and family. read more

When I'm in town I I try and make a stop here. Parking is hard because a lot of the streets are one way or under construction with limited spots. There was no line when we walked in. All cookies were available and fresh. There was one worker from what we could see. She was helpful and friendly. I'd definitely recommend this cookie shop to others. read more

During my visit to Insomnia Cookies, I couldn't resist the allure of their double chocolate chunk and white chocolate macadamia cookies. Pairing a brownie with vanilla ice cream was a delightful choice, and the aroma of sugar heightened my craving for these treats. Exploring different brownie flavors also proved to be a satisfying experience. For cookie enthusiasts, a visit to Insomnia Cookies is a must. The service and ambience are very nice read more

Delivery service is actually awful, place my order around 12pm, they told me it would be about 30-40 minutes, I get a text around 12:20 that my order is on the way( I live 13 min from the store) and it's not 1:30pm and I still don't have my order. I understand if there are deliveries that are also in the same route ( they went to a house down the a couple neighborhoods over from mine, drove past the entrance street to my house, then went to an apartment complex over by the store in the opposite direction. I understand things happen, but if something does, send out an update that the order will be late. Update now 1:50pm still haven't gotten my order read more

Horrible location but great cookies. Went tonight to bring some family for their first time. It was 10pm and they told us immediately that they were not serving ice cream, which was odd but we thankfully didn't come for that. However, when I ordered I asked for a gluten free cookie which they were supposedly out of...I'm gluten intolerant so I wasn't able to order anything else which sucked. Then, my siblings tried to order and they were also out of multiple other cookies. They had blocked off their small seating area, also annoying since they don't close until 2am, so we were standing talking for a bit while we waited. My sister had to walk around the chairs they used to block off this seating area to grab a napkin, and she immediately was scolded for the fact that she had walked where they had previously mopped. There was no indication they had mopped and again, this was hours before they are supposed to close. There were no other napkins and the 2 employees there seemed miserable and gladly made it known. Very frustrated and embarrassed we recommended this location. The only reason I gave 2 stars as a "positive" is because we actually like the cookies when they're available. read more

I'm in Denton from Boston, visiting my husband's family for the holidays. Yesterday I had an urgent desire for cookies, and Yelp told me this was the place to go! Yes indeed! This is the place. I was a bit confused at first because from the outside, the place looked dark and closed. But I tried the door and it opened. When inside, all I saw was ice cream - no cookies. So I asked the very nice person if f they had cookies, and she showed me that the options were shown on a sign above. I bought a triple chocolate cookie and 2 peanut butter chips. They were warm and heavenly! I've had a few small bites of each and they're soooo delicious! You should go there! Yum!! read more

Love coming here! They have the beat cookies and they stay open til 1am or 3 am depending on the day. I've been to this one and the one a few others too. If I'm in town we always make it a point to come by and grab some cookies. read more

The staff is great- wish I had gotten their names! They are both young- a girl and a guy! The cookies were delicious but my only complaint is that there was no vanilla ice cream. I ended up getting rocky road which is good but there's nothing like old faithful vanilla. Prices are a little up there but honestly worth it. On par with somi somi, marble slab, most of the dessert spots. read more

Cookies are so warm and homemade recipes are on point. I will say this location to walk in to due to parking is a challenge, but the staff is nice and helpful. Also insomnia delivers all over Denton and stays open till 3am.!! This is a Denton staple and IA a fun treat when you leave Frye Street after being at the bar and wanna grab a late night sweet treat. My kids beg for insomnia for birthdays and special occasions. Worth the pain in the a$$ foe parking to stop in! read more

Great cookies. I took my kiddos here one evening as we were heading home after a day out. It's a small location and you park on the street. There were several people in there ordering when we arrived. In order to get the pack of cookies, you can not include the specialty cookies which I wasn't aware of initially. No biggie though, we just got the individual cookies. Cookies are good... not my favorite cookies ever but they were good. read more

I was so excited to get on here and leave a good review, the service was good and quick. Both of my cookies apparently came "straight out the oven" and I didn't have to wait at all. Then when I finally got around to eating them and this one was still raw and gooey. read more

Cookies, delivered to your door, hot, late at night. It doesn't eat much better than this.

I had to take my cookies home to bake them. They were completely raw other than the edges. They refused to give me a cup of water with my cookies, but they were out of stock for all drinks. The employee literally told me to go to Chipotle next door if I want water. Evidently, their customers can't have drinks with their cookies. read more

Super good food hot fresh cookies. The service is amazing! And it was super chill in there.

I am only giving two stars because I assume they were understaffed but the customer service was horrible. Not only did I have to sit and wait about 30 min to get one scoop of ice cream, but I also watched as they served everyone else who had been waiting in line behind me first. Another girl had been waiting about 45 min. The workers moved about at a snails pace to do anything. One of the worst experiences I have ever had. I have been to other Insomnia Cookies and always had a great experience so not sure what is up here. Here is the ice cream that was waited for to only be freezer burned. read more

Had these cookies in Chicago before moving here. They were fresh and warm and moist the way they were back home sure, but something was just a little off. I don't know if it was the dull appearance of the staff, giving a slightly sad vibe off, or what... but it was a lot less "YEAH WE GOT SOME COOKIES" and more "Well, the cookies were good as usual". Maybe it was just one of those nights, but I'll be back to try again :) read more

Sweet treats turned sour... The guy was rude and disrespectful, should be fired. My family won't return to this location again. My recent visit to Insomnia Cookies was a disappointing blend of discourtesy and deception, transforming the sweet promise of their treats into a bitter experience. Need a napkin? Nope you get scolded instead for trying to get one in the mopped area, 4 hours before they close...The employee's indifference set the tone, creating a noxious mix that made the entire encounter unpalatable. read more

We had this for a late night dessert it was so worth the money/ wait. The cookies just came out of the oven nice and hot when receiving them. When we got home they were still warm and we live a good 15mins away. We had a tall glass of milk with our cookies absolutely delicious almost like homemade cookies. read more

Warm and delicious. Great cookies if not a bit too oily. The white chocolate macadamia has hints of coconut and tastes like perfection while the red velvet is good but not as great as the white chocolate macadamia. Cute place and located so close to the UNT language building it was hard not to try them out. I'd recommend for anyone craving sweets. Traditional cookies, such as the ones I got are 1.50 a piece, and for two I paid 3.25. read more

Very expensive but delicious, fresh and warm. Very nice people inside to assist and make suggestions.

We love insomnia cookies! BUT if you're open until late, serve everything. We went in at 8:30ish pm and were told they had stopped serving ice cream for the night. That makes no sense. So we went somewhere else for our dessert. read more

This used to be my favorite store in Denton. Would literally order cookies 4+ times a week...i swear they probably knew my name. I don't know what happened over the past year (wait...maybe it was the global pandemic ) but this store is horrendous. I have ordered delivery three different times and have either waited 1.5+ hours for my order or have just had to cancel it. It really sucks but I think i'm gonna have to switch over to crumbl :( read more

Denton from North Arlington is really a short drive. So if you're bored during Covid I recommend heading up to Denton for some cookies. I know Tiff's are everywhere but these cookies are worth the drive. Just delicious is the only way to describe. You will not be disappointed. They are open really, really late. I was taking my goddaughter home so I think it was close to midnight when we were there. read more

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. I have been a major lover of Insomnia Cookies for years and years. This location the past year has just been horrendous. Multiple occasions, I have ordered cookies to be delivered. Once, they marked it as delivered but never even left their store (after 3 hours). Another time, I waited for over 5 hours before finally getting 6 cookies... Last night, the cancelled the order immediately, and didn't even tell me or email me. Today, I went into the store to get them for a party, and the staff literally looked like they wished they (and I) were dead. So incredibly rude and slow. Cookies were burnt and not even half as good as they used to be. I've given them so many chances but I will never come back to this location and neither should you. read more

I came at 12:20 and they're supposed to be open until 1 but they were already closing up. I like the cookies so I keep coming back, but I don't understand why they were closing up 40 minutes before they were supposed to, and I was disappointed to be honest. Either they need to edit the hours, or the employees are closing up way earlier than they're supposed to just because business is slow. read more

Suggested this place to my friends and completely ruined the night because we spent $70 on cookies only to get a very odd email saying that "something" was wrong with our order. We were told to call a number and after about 25 minutes (at 11:30pm???) we finally spoke to a human being, who said the shop was out of "a few things... looks like they're out of ice cream... and milk... and cookies." huh??? Why are you open bro. 3-5 business days to get the money back and broke college students really can't afford that. read more

We used to enjoy coming here on occasion and haven't been in a long time. We decided to come tonight after dinner and walked into a filthy area and no one to be found manning the front. We stood there for maybe 6 mins talking loud enough to be heard. Eventually, a guy walks out of the back looking confused. We ordered 2 sandwiches deconstructed and the first one he jammed a cookie in the ice cream cup then very little ice cream and the second cookie crammed on top then jammed the lid on. We had asked clearly for the cookies to be separated. He acted like he had no idea what he was doing and it was very awkward. He took forever to put the order together Didn't put any of it in a box or bag, just handed it to us all separately to carry loose items. It was waaay overpriced for what we got. This place has really declined in service, cleanliness and was out of several basic cookie flavors... After this time, we don't want to go back. It was a bummer. read more

Service is trash always slow. They be getting orders wrong all the time. No wonder why people be hypin crumbl.

Completely lack of professionalism at this location! I have ordered multiple times and every time there has been an extremely lengthy wait after the initial pick up time. I have now had enough with this last experience, I ordered just cookies through the app and pick up time was 8:45pm. Mind you I placed this order at 8pm! I Already know with past experiences this location takes significantly longer than what they say. So I didn't show up till 9-9:15pm. Upon arrival the whole place is packed and backed up and after waiting 15 minutes in line I am told my cookies will be done "in approximately 20-30 mins" by the presumed manager. After waiting that 30 mins I then call the store so I don't have to wait another 15 minutes in line and am answered by the most ignorant person I think I have ever dealt ever. Upon speaking to this employee he stated that the cookies are behind and he had no idea when my cookies will be down. At this point of waiting 45 minutes at the store being 10pm I left. To TOP IT OFF I get a call waking me up from this location at 1 AM in the morning! 4 Hours after my initial pick up time! Complete lack of regard for their customers and completely unprofessional! Will be contacting corporate and be explaining this and my other situations in hope the hammer will come down and fix this location flaws. I love insomnia cookies and have been a frequent customer but this location has ruined my love for them. read more

Wow, sorry to be the bearer of bad news but this place deserves a big "WTF?" to put it nicely. I came around midnight or so on a Wednesday night when Fry street was pretty busy, so there was no reason for them to be handing out bad product. I ordered a double chocolate and a chocolate mint cookie for a little over $3. They were each about the size of the bottom of a coke can. Probably standard cookie size, but for that price they should at least taste pretty good. The mint chocolate one was good, but nothing to write home about. The crazy part is that the double chocolate cookie was hard as a brick. I literally have a video (I'll post) of me tapping it against the counter. I took it to the register and the girl working was like "ok...?" So she checked to get me a new one and said "oh, they're all like that." I offered to take any other flavor and it happened that the only option that wasn't brick hard was sugar. I didn't get an apology or explanation, I was just reluctantly handed a sugar cookie. Too bad, I was excited for Insomnia to finally be in Denton. read more

What a fun little spot and what a great idea. They are open until 3am so you can easily get your fix almost any time of the day. The parking situation isn't the greatest due to the fact that it's right next to the college so it's metered parking but we paid 10 cents for 12 minutes. Way worth it. The cookies were to die! We got a box of 12 which has lasted for 2+ days at this point with no re-packinging. They are still gooey and fresh. We ordered 12 traditional: (2) chocolate (chunk) chip, (2) sugar cookie, (2) peanut butter, (2) dark chocolate, (2) snickerdoodle, (1) white chocolate macadamia nut, (1) oatmeal raisin. Delish. The snickerdoodle were my favorite! They were gooey and warm when they came out. They have a cute little milk fridge cause milk and cookies - why not? It was a little on the more expensive side, but it was worth it as it was a real treat. Came out to about $16 with tax for the box of 12. We will definitely be back when we are in the area! read more

Greeted right away when I walked in. The gentlemen was super nice and informative! I did the 6 cookies for $8 something. I got 2 oatmeal raisin, 2 chocolate chips, snicker doodle, and a mint chocolate chip. All cookies were warm! They offer peanut butter, red velvet, and more. They carry milk because milk and cookies is the best combo! They have ice cream so you could make a ice cream cookie sandwich! Open till 3am, Great for the college students late at night. I was told their "black friday" will be on 4/20 (har har) and a box of 6 cookies will cost $4.20! How awesome is that! read more
