Placed a mobile order this morning. When my husband started drinking his, there were pieces of plastic in his smoothie. He called and spoke to manager. She was very "no big deal", "nothing we can do about it". He asked for a refund, she said she would try but wasn't sure she could do that. We asked for a call back from a GM and have heard nothing. We have ordered 2 smoothies every Friday for a couple of years but we're going to take a time out (and I ALWAYS tip). The last month or so quality of product (and the level of service) has really gone down. The smoothies have been pretty tasteless. I don't know if the employees haven't been trained well or have been trained to "save money". But whatever, they haven't been good. The last time I went in I asked for a cardboard carrier. The young person started to give me one of the plastic bags. I said "No, cardboard carrier please. He looked at me like it was such an imposition. My husband and I order from here at least 3 times a week because it's close to our work. I'm so sick of the attitude behind the counter. We get the pineapple spinach smoothie and mine is ALWAYS GREEN, the last time I got one this color there were bananas in it, I'm not stupid but they try to give me " when these two colors mix" spiel. First off don't talk to me like I'm stupid, and then walks away and says well OK you have a good one and was mumbling under her breath. I'm very shocked to see the low reviews. I was visiting and am not sure which Smoothie King I'm leaving this for. It was the store where, you can walk in and keep walking further in the store and to your left you will turn to place and order. You can sit down and wait for your order to the left of where you first walk in. So if that rings a bell, it's where I was. Anyways it was a Friday morning. So smoothies were $5. They tasted very good. Much better than Jamba Juice! It was on the level of Blenders (a great smoothie place in California). Made smoothies that were disgusting had to come back and get them remade, and the lady wouldn't give me a refund for having to come back and get them re made The smoothies were chunky and thick and tasted like ice had no flavor if I could rate them less than a star that's what they would deserve, i had to come back for a third time to get a refund bc the smoothies were still gross not only that the employee named Emily I watched her make another customers smoothie wash it out after she was done and while there was still dirty water from the previous smoothie she made inside the blender She still proceeded to make another customers smoothie. The smoothies are delicious and great. I have order from the one off Brinker Rd . every Thursday or Friday for a year. We take a smoothie to my granddaughters tutor for a treat. Today I have to say one of the staff was so rude I was a counter she raised her hands and turned around and went to back not even asking if I had been helped. I think she said her name was Dawnta. The other young girl with red hair was very helpful seen my phone where I had placed the order for pick up at 1:00 and paid full price for a 32oz smoothie. She went ahead and started my order even if they couldn't find the ticket. Then when order was done the other lady name Dawnta that was so rude said you can't give her that until you find the ticket. I placed the order for pick up at 1:00 because my granddaughter had class and we are on a schedule. This will be our last time at that locations. I will try the one off Teasley next. Just purchased smoothies for my family and myself and it was $28. Which was fine but then my 4 year old son asked for a cup of tap water. So I asked the girl making the smoothies if I could get some water for my son. She said that will be 40 cents because her boss is a hawk and really tight on that stuff. Well the moral of the story is..... give a 4 year old a cup of water especially when his parents just spent $28 on smoothies or just like in our case the customers will never come back. read more

I was just in the this location, and the whole reason they are getting two stars is because the smoothie is good. I always bring in my,own cup if i drink out because I know that plastic inevitably ends up in a landfill and I feel like I should be doing my part to eliminate some of this waste. I asked the woman who took my order if it would be an issue and she said no, the person making my drink said it was fine, and I was excited to get my smoothie when another worker, rudely, informed one of the employees that that was against some company policy and I would all of,the sudden not be allowed to use my own cup. I had already paid for a smaller version at a higher price so it would fit in my reusable cup and the rude-employee informed me i could "just pour it into my cup from theirs" which completely eliminates the point. If i was told I wouldnt be allowed to use my cup from the beginning maybe this review would be different. If Smoothie King actually wants to "Care about the environment" maybe they should make their policies known from the beginning instead of misleading customers. read more

This was absolutely the worst place I could have taken my grandchildren. Though they have a restroom and do serve drinks they refused to allow the kids to wash their hands as they have "confidential " documents in there. I am pretty sure my 7 year old twin granddaughters were not going to snoop in them for personal gain. I then asked if they could wash their hands in the front sink and was told that management didn't allow anyone to use their sinks. Finally I asked if they could wash their hands with wet paper towels. The girl in charge ignored us. Another associate finally provided that. This used to be our go to place after a workout. Not anymore. Pulled up a few to nine, lights on, door unlocked. Walked in and was told they were closed. When I called the next day to speak with a manager her only response was " I talked to her and told her to lock the door next time" we missed out on our VIP buy one get one smoothie because they closed early. Sucks to pay for extra perks and not be able to recieve them. I think we will find a new post workout snack. I don't recommend places who don't value good customer service. read more
