    Wild Child Smoothie

JuiceLand has been my go-to for smoothies ever since they set up shop in DFW. When they did, I would have to go all the way to Sylvan30 to enjoy them, then when whey opened their shop on Lovers, I would trek over there, but now that they've opened up pretty much in my backyard, I don't have to go far to enjoy their vast repertoire of delicious flavors. Now, there are so many things about JuiceLand that warrant 5 stars, but there are some things that hold this location back from that. While this location is still relatively new, I've been reluctant to post a review because I want to give them time to iron out the kinks. But enough time has elapsed for them to figure it out, so here's my thoughts: I love the inventive menu. JuiceLand is magnificent at concocting fun and exciting smoothies, juices and bowls. When it's done right- it's magnificent. There have been multiple instances at this location where I've placed to-go orders and my smoothie is sitting in the prep area instead of being in the chiller. This is something where as soon as the order is completed, I would hope it would automatically go in the chiller to prevent the smoothie or bowl from melting, thus degrading the quality. There are occasions where the team seems overrun with orders. Both online and in person. While at times it seems the store is adequately staffed, other times, it's like the team is in a non-stop pressure cooker to complete orders. I feel bad for them. I also had a not so great experience when I ordered an açaí bowl and asked them to not put chocolate chips on it. I got it home, and to my disappointment, it had chocolate chips in it. Another call out I have- it's not specific to this location, but JuiceLand in general, is the fruit to açaí ratio in their bowls. I think there are too many large chopped up bananas taking up space in the bowl. The last time I ordered an açaí bowl from here, it was like there was barely any acai, and mostly chunks of fruit. Rather disappointing. Now, let's talk more about what's great- the team here is really nice. No bad attitudes here! Also, the grab and go selections are phenomenal! Try the Frijole Roller- IT'S SO GOOD!!! Also, the employees are friendly here. They have always been nice even under pressure to work through lots of people waiting. Once I gave direct feedback when my to go order was just sitting on the counter instead of the cooler, and the employee was very receptive, the next time I placed a to go order, he had placed my items in the cooler- way to improve! Overall. JuiceLand is a healthy option for smoothies, juices and grab and go. While there may be some occasional misses, they are always striving for better at this location.

My have times changed. I was feeling nostalgic and stopped by this location. I've been here many times before, but it had been nearly a year since I had visited. It was a total disappointment. As I approached the employee was blasting exploitative-laced rap music and I had to speak quite loud to place my order. I don't think the employee cared much to measure out the recipe for the smoothie. She made it, only to pour it into the cup and realized it was too thick to move. She then added more liquid. She was pretty much winging it I guess. The smoothie itself was okay. I think it could've used a little more soy milk, but I guess it's alright that the smoothie turned out somewhat okay. But here's the thing. I paid $9 for a small smoothie. Shouldn't the bar be a little higher? No obnoxiously loud music and someone who cared enough to make it right the first time? Doesn't Jamba realize every time one of their employees makes a smoothie, it can make or break their future business? I'm always blown away that they have people on their teams that just seem to be so disconnected from delivering a good product. There's a recipe. All you have to do is follow it to the "T" to make customers happy. And how hard is it to not blast jaw-droppingly offensive music. You could play virtually anything else at a reasonable noise level and I would totally dig it. C'mon Jamba, do better please.

This review is for their soft serve and smoothie bowls. I've been to this Pressed multiple times,…read morebut it's very inconsistent. First, every time I've been; I just don't think they keep there soft-serve as cold as they should. I had been to multiple Pressed Juiceries in Southern California, and at those locations, the soft-serve was super-cold which made it so delicious. At this location, they don't keep it nearly as cold and this really degrades the experience. It melts too fast and just doesn't have the same level of gratifying texture that I've experienced at other locations. The service here is inconsistent. I was helped by a gentleman and he was nice, but clearly not focused on what he was doing. The soft serve I was handed looked like a failed science project. I will probably still give this location another try, but I wish this location would up their game and deliver the their soft-serve and bowls to a higher standard. It's a real let down to know other locations in their company deliver a superior product than what this one does.

I picked up three one-day cleanses, and she suggested going VIP, which honestly made a lot of sense. She even threw in a few free shots, which was such a nice surprise. Everything felt really smooth and effortless. The juices were great, and I actually felt refreshed and reset after finishing the cleanse. What stood out most was how thoughtful and helpful she was throughout the whole process. I would definitely recommend this location, and if you go, the VIP option is worth it for the savings alone.

Wow, what an amazing experience!…read more I was in the mood for a light lunch and stumbled upon this hidden gem right in my neighborhood. The restaurant is conveniently located just off the main road, with ample parking--a huge plus when I'm trying out a new spot. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how clean and inviting the space was. You can literally smell the freshness as soon as you enter. The customer service was exceptional. Since it was my first visit, the staff took the time to make recommendations and even offered a few samples so I could find something I loved. I decided on The Defender and the Avocado Toast, and both were absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, satisfying, and filling without being heavy. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I can already tell it will become one of my go-to lunch spots. I will definitely be back! 5/5 Highly recommend!
