The Juice Bar on Inwood is a great pit stop for me to pick up breakfast. I've been to this location a few times and finally tried the overnight oats, which is what I was craving. First time eating a Acai bowl and was thoroughly impressed. The service was great and the girl was very helpful. We ordered the Very Very Acai, and the Very nutty bowl were mouth watering! NOW these juices we got were just MEH, cold pressed, and super expensive. The watermelon mint was just ok and beet juice tasted like dirt...not yummy. While it wasn't bad, I had the same observations as other reviewers- there wasn't much customer interaction other than "what would you like?" "insert the card if you have a chip." They made my juice and set it on the counter. Didn't even tell me if it was mine or not (there were others before me who hadn't received their order yet). Will it deter me from coming back? My favorite juices & bowls in Dallas! I get the big green bowl and it's delicious! It is coconut milk, açaí, avacado, kale, spinach, banana and agave blended and topped with banana, blueberries and their homemade granola. The granola on top makes this bowl complete. It is so delicious and turned me from not even liking granola to being obsessed. I can't say enough good things about this place, and the ingredients are all super clean. Ok I admit, I had no idea where this was when I got into the shopping area because I wasn't expecting it to be next to einstein's and in the middle of the parking lot in front of the lowe's. But it's super cute! Big open concept with open windows. It's clean and really sparse, as expected of a juice shop. The employees are all foreign and whispered and weren't helpful, so I'm not sure about that, but it's fine, I came for juice, not a cool convo (though that's always welcomed). I got a purple haze which has blueberries, protein powder, almond milk and yogurt. It was good, even though I initially went in there to get a green juice. I like that it's closer to me than the other one off Preston, so I'll prob be frequenting it more often! Yay! read more

The Goods: The "Start Me Up" juice and the Raw Energy Bar in Vanilla Almond are so good. The Service: Polite, but extremely slow at the register. When I went in, the fella at the register was chit chatting with a lady that seemed to me, was taking advantage that the employee was a yapper and just like her. It was rather annoying. But other than that, again he was polite and welcomed me to the juice bar. Very clean inside, I can tell that this will be a hot spot for a quick energy boost after a workout or to freshen you up before you head to work. Typically enjoy coming here with the kids after school for a healthier treat and to pick up some items when our house is starting to feel under the weather but the last two visits their system "has been down," & only accept cash. They fail to tell you this as you shop the to-go items and chose your smoothie/bowl from the menu until they've given you your total amount. The first time I was in with my young children who were excited for an after school treat and today I was loading up on some items for home as well as a bowl. They offer no apology, compensation (which wouldn't be an issue except you let me place my order and ring me up before you give me the news that the system is down) and blame it on the construction across the street and are quick to say "it's not our fault." I honestly don't care what's going on except for the inconvenience and poor customer service they're providing-they should put a sign on the door, or warn you before you (& your kids) spend time picking your items especially since this problem seems to be ongoing. Quick shots are $2.25 and boosts are $1.25. Like I said...not cheap. If you're looking for a quick refresher that's healthy and delicious, this is the place to try. My favorite is the purple haze. It's a smoothie with almond milk, Greek yogurt, blueberries, banana and protein powder. I've tried start me up and didn't like it that much. I've tried getting into juicing but everything ends up tasting disgusting to me. It's clearly not my thing. I do love smoothies though and their smoothies are great. Baby, this place is the bomb! All four of us had different things and we each loved our drinks. So I had the skinny citrus. I substituted the jalapeño for mint and it is very tasty. Mixed thoughts about this juice bar. Pros: decent selection of bowls (including veggie, yogurt & pitaya!), smoothies, shots, and juices. I can in mid morning on a Saturday and was helped immediately. A couple people came in after me and were also helped quickly. Open kitchen concept - could see a lot of people working and got my bowl way faster than most juice bars. Cons: bowl was subpar for $10. The granola is a strange mix with sesame seeds, not traditional by any means. The flavor and texture of my bowl was also not very impressive. I was also hoping that their selection would been more customizable. They have a small bar to sit at, but would definitely benefit from some table seating since there's a lot of open space. Do not go to this location. The manager just reprimanded me for bringing my service dog in the store. I politely told him that my dog is an emotional support dog, and I showed him his service badge. My dog was not near the food. He still argued. I told him I come in there nearly every day and it's illegal to discriminate.
