When they went to pay, he told them emphatically, "Never, EVER come in that late again. Do NOT do that again." They looked understandably shocked. When it was my turn (which was quite a while later as service had been slow), I requested two of the same items - Blue Lagoon bowls. He turned to me with an "are-you-kidding" expression and said, "You want TWO bowls? Can't I just make you one?" While I do feel bad for arriving near closing time, I was still so surprised that I and the other customers were made to feel so unwelcome and at fault. I would have understood - and it would have been more reasonable - if he just said he was closing for the day, rather than chastising his customers. Perhaps he was a new hire, perhaps it was a stressful day, and it happens. The bowls were great, but this encounter has kept me from returning to this location ever since.
