I arrived at 7:26 PM on a Sunday. When I pulled up, there were workers sitting at the booth by the door and one cleaning. They clearly saw me arrive, as the one sitting I saw her say to the other worker something then the worker turned off the lights. The sign on the door states they close at 8:00 PM. Pretty run of the mill snowcone place. You order at the counter with the friendly staff and there are a few tables to sit at. It's nice that it's indoors in the Texas heat! There are lots of options, from natural flavors to real fruit toppings, or top your snowcone with Oreos or a pickle. Not the most flavor options I've ever seen, but definitely more than enough. For $4 I got a "small" natural watermelon snowcone (which was actually pretty hefty!) with gummy bears and sour spray, so the price is less than a Bahama Bucks type store, but more than some mom and pop shops I've seen. The natural watermelon actually had some watermelon seeds in it, which made the snowcone feel healthy! I couldn't really taste the sour, which is a little disappointing. Overall, can't complain, and will likely be back whenever I'm in the neighborhood! read more

Maybe I'm just not a fan of snow cones in general, but I didn't think this place was spectacular. I got their medium strawberry natural flavor with a cream topping and a vanilla custard filling. The strawberry natural flavor tasted a lot like strawberry jam that you would put on a PB&J sandwich. It was too sweet and not very natural tasting. The cream topping seemed to be something along the lines of condensed milk. The vanilla custard definitely is a good thing to add to the snow cone because it adds good flavor and texture to an otherwise homogenous dessert. The medium is a good size for two people. Service was really quick and it was pretty busy at night. I'd probably come back if someone really wanted snow cones and get other flavors. read more
