I love the shave ice texture. It's very soft and clouds like! I stick to usual no topping bc the candy can be too much, it's different layers. Their mangonada is also good

Best find in Dallas on these HOT days! This will be a staple this summer for sure to cool down!!! This place offers snow cones in so many different flavors. You can even add ice cream to your snow cone as well. They also have an app if you would like to order online if you are overwhelmed picking what you want instore. I've been here twice now. I've ordered: : The pina colada snow (not a lot of flavoring) and the wedding cake (SOOO GOOD!) Pretty affordable. This location is tight with parking but located where the Alamo is so you'll find parking throughout the lot. My wait times haven't been too long when I've visited.

This was my first time coming to Bahama Buck's and Lilly was very sweet and helpful .

Went plant shopping for some greenery in our home this past weekend and holy smokes is Dallas already starting to get super hot! We wanted something to cool us down after running errands so my husband suggested Bahama Buck's. I've driven passed this place so many times while living here in Dallas and finally went in to try if for the first time. They have an extensive menu with more snow cone flavors you could imagine! The shop was packed when we arrived but the line moved quickly. I tried a mango/pineapple snow cone and will confess it was way sweeter than I'm used to. Overall it was a great experience. Glad I finally tried it! I will definitely go back and try something more subtle next time.

Been in here a few times and it's always great. Today Kiley helped me out and there seemed to be a problem with one of the machines. They got it sorted and got my my son super quick. It's the best one I've ever had! Light fluffy and full of flavor!! Got the natural coconut natural pineapple and natural mango, and it was the bomb dot com. So good had to go back in and thank them in person! Keep it up!

Never been to Bahama Bucks , but the energy here great. On the side of the plaza , facing the 7 eleven on Abrams. This is a spacious place and very festive . You can tell the put a lot of work into the decor and presentation here. Texas heat makes this place a hot commodity so traffic here , I can imagine, can pick up a bit. Not too busy on a Sunday evening so I didn't have to wait long. There was a diverse menu with things like shaved ice, smoothie and refreshers, it made it a tough task to choose . I chose the mangonada shaved ice and the cherry lime squeeze . The Mangonada was a perfect twist of sweet and spicy. The cherry lime refresher was really good too. Customer service was an A+. Perfect place to cool down and visit .

I used to live in Waxahachie and my family and I would always go to the Waxahachie location for a sweet treat during the summer. I live in Dallas now, and my boyfriend and I visited this location in July 2022. It was a hot day in Texas (of course), and I REALLY wanted a snow cone. We drove a bit out of our way to get to this Bahama Buck's. This location was PACKED. The line inside the store was very long, and there were so many people that we barely had anywhere to stand. We luckily found a table to sit at, and our order didn't take nearly as long as we expected it to. Despite having so many customers and orders to make at once, the workers were friendly and made sure our orders were made properly. It could have been very easy to get overwhelmed that day, but the workers remained resilient and patient with everyone. Bahama Buck's ALWAYS does a great job. They load the snow cones up with syrup, which I am always grateful for. I've never gotten a bite that wasn't full of flavor. I always ask for they to add extra cream to my snow cone, as well, and they've never charged me for it. The Tropical Blue Coconut is my go to, but be aware that your tongue will be blue for a day or so... haha! The Kokomoko is fun to say and is packed full of sugar. It's very chocolatey, but it's always blended very well.

Delicious shaved ice with a variety of flavors and something for everyone including tons of toppings and even sugar free options. In and out service and usually very quick service.. always friendly. Super clean and efficient operations. Love this location especially on a hot day. Such fine ice and delicious flavors. My favorite is their sugar free thin ice strawberry cheesecake!

Shaved ice, ice cream, smoothies and more... This was my second trip to Bahama Bucks (ever) and thankfully won't be my last, especially since I am now a card-caring punchcard holder. I will no longer subject my tongue to roadside shaved ice stands but will hold out for the powdered ice of Bahama Bucks. Flavors range from super sweet to super sour and everything in between, not including all the topping options (also ranging from sweet gummy bears to salty/sour pickles 'picadilly style' ~ pleasantly surprised with that one). Will be back all summer filling up my punch card and making a small dent in the flavor menu.

A much needed addition to the neighborhood in advance of the new attractions coming in. The kids are very happy about Bahama Buck's opening! The crew is still learning how to make everything on my 2 trips so it took a little longer, there was a bit of a learning curve and a few errors. On my first trip, I ordered a Lemon Limeade but the lemon was left out. They quickly offered to remake it, but I was in a hurry. It was actually very good. My second trip was just a simpler orange shaved ice and it was flawless until I devoured it. Maybe I'm a kid at heart, but I am right there with the youngsters as they laugh jump around and squeal as they eat their colorful handiworks of ice and sweeteners. Some of these treats are VERY colorful and HUGE! (or do we say YUGE these days? ) The air conditioned interior is very festive and will make you smile in anticipation of your frozen treat. A word of warning to the shy, when the large SUV loads of kids show up, be prepared for some kid generated noise of excitement!

We ordered the small Oreo with vanilla ice cream and a sour patch blue raspberry snow cone.

This place is amazing!! There are seemingly endless combinations that can be created with the snow cone flavors, ice cream flavors and additional toppings. The staff was so friendly and seemed to genuinely be enjoying their jobs. They were more than willing to answer all of our questions and seemed happy to do so. The menu is a little intimidating so I would definitely suggest coming inside versus the drive through if it's your first time or if you are an indecisive person, like me. The portion sizes are very generous. We also ordered a mini strawberry cheesecake sno cone with vanilla ice cream (not pictured). It was definitely my favorite. Despite ordering the smallest size, I still wasn't able to eat it all. The kids did a better job finished their orders (pictured) and were very satisfied. This place is perfect for a hot summer day or anytime really!

I went in, talked to the employees, asked which pies were shelf stable and could survive a trip to Austin, and after being told which, I promised I'd come back after dinner. When I came back, they were out of the apple, so I bought a pumpkin pie, or as it's known on the menu, Drop Dead Gourdgeous, which, as a person who loves word play, already gives this place a 5/5. The employees were so incredibly helpful and kind, and being able to come here and get something for my friends in Austin made this worth transporting everything from Dallas to Austin worth it. I don't know if they do, but I really hope they deliver frozen pies, because even in California, they would have a customer for life out here because of their hospitality and amazing customer service. The place wasn't too loud since they were in the last 90 minutes or so of business hours, but it was great because I got to ask them all of the questions I needed. If they don't deliver frozen pies, then I will definitely find my way back here one day.

The boxes are huge and fancy, but they are mostly full of empty space. When you open them, the actual slice inside is tiny. It is just a thin sliver sitting on a big sheet of paper. Charging almost nine dollars a slice for a few small bites is ridiculous. I almost brought an out-of-town guest here to show off Dallas bakeries, and I am so glad I went alone first. Handing a visitor a micro-slice in a giant box would have been embarrassing. Do not waste your money here. You are paying high prices for tiny portions hidden in pretty cardboard.

My Americano came out hot and had a really good bold flavor. I love adding cream to my coffee, and once I did, it balanced out that strong kick perfectly. The beignets were made fresh to order and took about 7 minutes to come out. They were hot, soft, and very fluffy, almost more similar to a donut than a traditional beignet. Since most of my beignet experience comes from New Orleans, Louisiana, I definitely had a different texture in mind going in. I personally wish they had been a little crispier, especially around the edges, but they were still decent and enjoyable. Overall, I had a good experience. Between the welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, good coffee, and fresh beignets, I would definitely try Le Bon Temps again without hesitation.

First bonus: they have their own little dedicated parking lot, which is definitely appreciated in Deep Ellum. Inside, there's also a cute greenery wall that makes a nice spot for pictures. Now, let's get to the important part-the desserts! They have everything: peach cobblers, banana puddings, ice cream, shakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, cheesecake, brownies, churro sticks and more. But we came to a place called The Peach Cobbler Factory, so naturally we were getting peach cobbler. And then we discovered they have DESSERT FLIGHTS. Genius! I love a flight because you get to try several things without committing to just one. We chose four small desserts--three cobblers and a banana pudding--plus vanilla ice cream with what seemed like a little cinnamon sprinkled on top. Let me just say: this flight was diabetes on a plate. Everything was SWEET. My favorite was the mango peach cobbler. It was very sweet, but that mango and peach combination was delicious and easily took the #1 spot for me. My sister's favorites (and basically tied for my second favorite) were between two. The blackberry peach cobbler. The blackberry gave it that rich, almost blackberry-pie flavor mixed with the peaches, and it was SO good. Then there was the sweet potato pecan cobbler. Completely different flavor from the blackberry peach, so it was almost impossible to compare the two. Sweet potato and pecans together with the cobbler, especially paired with the vanilla ice cream, Delicious. Our fourth choice was the red velvet banana pudding, layered with banana pudding and red velvet with vanilla wafers. That was the one we could leave behind. It wasn't terrible, but with this much sugar and this many calories on the table, it simply wasn't worth the calories for us. Overall, the dessert flight was the star of the show and such a fun way to sample several flavors. Three definite winners out of four, and we had a great time trying them and comparing favorites. A great little Deep Ellum find--and if you go, GET THE FLIGHT! One note: something like 'the flight size was perfect to share, but the full portions looked like way too much. It would have been way too rich. It might be great if they offered that smaller size as a standard option.
