I stopped here for a sweet treat with my five-year-old inside. There are a variety of yummy options and you are allowed to try them before you decide which you would like. Please check this place out! If you like gelato. Well, this a place you must check out. I came on a late Wednesday night and it was pretty empty. Therefore, you might have to wait an awhile if you come earlier during the day with possible one or two employees at a time. However, I'm so glad that I did. I've never seen gelato be placed as a rose with so many delicious flavors. I would come to this place probably once a week if I could. LOL! The place was well lit and clean. Parking kind of limited. However, the experience was not. The employee/chef was very nice and she was very knowledgeable about the products and service. I love gelato and this by far is the best gelato ever! You can actually taste the flavor not so much of the sugar. It is a smooth and dense texture that easily melts in your mouth. Ordering should be easier though. The flavors start at the entrance, but we have to walk to the register at the end, place the order then go back to asking for the flavors. We came here on a cold Saturday afternoon joining a long line of other people who know that it is never too cold for gelato. Unfortunately, the shop was staffed with only one person. We waited for at least 15 minutes to pay and then another 10 minutes to get our gelato. Once we got our gelato, we were amazed at the flavors and quality! They have this special thing they do where if you order a cone, they will spread the gelato in the shape of a rose, which is pretty. They also have a ton of menu options from ice cream drinks/affogato to ice cream filled macarons to crepes and waffles. My wife and I sampled quite a few flavors. She ended up getting a small cup with blood orange (really good blew us away), passion fruit, and Stracciatella. I got a kids cone with Stracciatella and a chocolate amorino macaron. Most popular flavors were blueberry cheesecake, dulce leche, and caramel. I would say the quality of the gelato is less than Botolino but definitely has more flavors and menu options. Needed dessert after a very satisfying dinner nearby and Amorino popped up right across the street. The shop only had one party ahead of us and while we were looking around, the lady working there told us pretty sternly that we had to stand behind the rope and wait until we ordered and paid until we can see the flavors, which was odd. Dude, yes! I really needed a late night treat and they were the only place that was open late! This place is popular! There was a long line, but it is worth it. They let you pick as many flavors as you want, no limits! The taste was amazing! Every flavor was unique and flavorful! Since it was the end of the day the place looked a bit dirty, but that's what i get for coming late. I do like that they can open the entire front of the store to let the breeze in, it's like the entire wall is a door. I will say that the ordering process is a bit schizophrenic as they force you to pick what you're ordering size wise on the little kiosks they have sitting on the line. It's confusing to say the least as nobody who came into that shop while I was there, understood that's what they wanted and instead, the three people behind the counter were just yell instructions to the clients. We wanted something sweet to end the night after a hefy dinner at il Bracco next door. We see Amorino across the way and off we go. I had a delicious gelato experience a few years ago in New Orleans, so we decided on 2 big pistachio macaron to share. I thought it would be individually placed in a cup with whip cream like how it was advertised in the picture by the cashier, except they dump both macarons into one cup and just hand it to us.  Not how I thought it would be.  It was soft and delicious but definitely pricey at about $8 each after tax and tips though. read more

I stumbled on this place and I love it. It's such a cute ice cream place. I took my family here and my toddler loved it. We got several different flavors to try on a cone and the ice cream was made to look like a rose! It was so neat and made the whole experience fun and cute. When we were here the place was full of people and lots of families. My favorite flavors are strawberry and mango. I didn't like the pistachio or any of the other flavors we tried. I realized I like the fruity flavors better than the creamier ones. If we are in Dallas again, I will most definitely stop by again. One of my favorite dessert / gelato spots! I came by after a heavy meal and needed some lighter refreshment afterwards, and this spot fit the bill. The inside is very well decorated and maintained, and the display is perfect. I love how all the flavors are on labels with their corresponding picture. They also put fruity flavors on one side and more grounded flavors on the other, which I thought was neat. I got their large cone, specifically their raspberry, lime, mango, and passion fruit flavors. All are deliciously tangy and fruity in taste; I'd say the mango was particularly my favorite. I am excited about this location since the Legacy West one can really take a long time in line, sometimes it's out the door. During my first visit at this location it is evident they'll need more than two employees to be working at any given time, especially weekends. Removed a star as the Legacy location will swiftly have your selection ready within a few mins upon taking your order, mine took 20 mins. The staff working last evening were delightful, patient, and personable. Ambiance is exactly the same as the Legacy location, with limited seating so that folks can continue exploring the surrounding shops and restaurants. Will be back! read more

As someone who grew up in Germany on authentic Italian Ice Cream and my husband who's Italian (moved to the US when he was 27) who's entire family still lives in Italy .. I have to say this is by far the most authentic gelato place I've ever had anywhere in the US. Many of the flavors remind me of my childhood and I just can't get enough... Amarena, Stracciatella, Black Currant, Hazelnut, Passionfruit, Lime and Mint ... I'm in heaven! I would eat there daily if I could lol not to mention it's organic, they give you wooden mini spoons (so very environmentally friendly), and they shape the ice cream beautifully (which I've actually never seen before) I would give this place 10 stars if I could read more
