Melt Ice cream was soo good! The salt lick scoop combined with their waffle cone was fire! It was so creamy and sweet! Definitely a great pick me up if you're walking around Bishop Arts District! The staff was kind and helpful in deciding what kind of flavor we should get! It's a cute and chill shop on Bishop!

amazing flavors, even better people. melt is melt, always innovative and gleefully catered to the southern palette. the seasonal flavors blew my mind. petite shop without much standing room which encourages lingering, which i love! shoutout to our girl jessica for being so patient with us as we made up our mind !!

PEACH COBBLER CHEESECAKE

It's probably the flavor that I chose that made me gave Melt 3-stars, Peach Cobbler Cheesecake. It just wasn't very good... Although my friends liked the other flavors that they chose. Also, when we went the staff told us they were out of milk so we couldn't order any shakes. That's kinda ironic for an ice cream shop to be out of milk... Since this location is in the Bishop Arts District, it's quite small. There's like 4 seats in the entire place.

Went here after dinner. It's small and cute inside limited menu but overall great ice cream. There's a few seats outside and inside by the window. Service was good I did opt for a cup over a cone

Strawberry yummy

I stopped by Melt and tried one scoop of the strawberry, and it did not disappoint! It was incredibly creamy, with a rich, fresh strawberry flavor that really stood out. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and the texture was perfect, smooth and indulgent without being too heavy. I got it in a cup this time, but I'm already planning to come back and try it in a cone. Service was fast and I got to try the other flavors too.

After every meal, I have to have something sweet, and luckily we saw Melt Ice Creams on the way to our car. This small little ice cream shop in the Bishop Art District had some fun flavors! We got to sample a few and I ended up getting a scoop of the Texas Lavender Honey Crunch. Funny enough, I'm not usually a lavender fan for flavor but love it in ice cream, especially combined with honey. The staff was friendly and we got our ice cream promptly. We enjoyed our ice cream outside and, although there wasn't much crunch from the honey, I did get a bite of it every now and then and it was the best surprise. A great lil ice cream stop in the area!

a stop and go sport with delicious ice cream with distinct unique flavors. they have the BEST cones as they are soft with the right amount of crisp, not too sweet. i had to the sherbet swirl and would highly recommend if you like fruit flavors. service was friendly and lets us sample server al flavors to find the right one!

Ready to try some of the best ice cream in Dallas? Step into Melt Ice Cream to enjoy unique and fresh ice cream flavors. We visited the Melt location in the Bishop Arts District after spending a day shopping around and exploring. The peanut butter explosion is packed with flavor! The classic chocolate and the coffee flavors are great choices to go with as well. Melt is the perfect place to eat ice cream on a warm day in Dallas. Add this spot to your Dallas food list!

I am a picky Ice cream connoisseur and I really enjoyed this place. I got the Honeycomb ice cream. I walked around and ate my ice cream and I was pleasantly surprised. I would come back here.

Dude, this was legit delicious! I got a sundae cup with chocolate, pie crust, chocolate sprinkles, and hot fudge. It was to die for. The storefront is tiny, but luckily there weren't many people inside. The store was cute, quaint, and clean. The staff was very nice and attentive. It really took a few minutes to place my order and have it made. I look forward to coming back in the future

I love the pristine atmosphere that this ice cream parlor provides. Other things drew me to this ice cream shop like the flavors and the unique coloring of the interior.

I went in, talked to the employees, asked which pies were shelf stable and could survive a trip to Austin, and after being told which, I promised I'd come back after dinner. When I came back, they were out of the apple, so I bought a pumpkin pie, or as it's known on the menu, Drop Dead Gourdgeous, which, as a person who loves word play, already gives this place a 5/5. The employees were so incredibly helpful and kind, and being able to come here and get something for my friends in Austin made this worth transporting everything from Dallas to Austin worth it. I don't know if they do, but I really hope they deliver frozen pies, because even in California, they would have a customer for life out here because of their hospitality and amazing customer service. The place wasn't too loud since they were in the last 90 minutes or so of business hours, but it was great because I got to ask them all of the questions I needed. If they don't deliver frozen pies, then I will definitely find my way back here one day.

The boxes are huge and fancy, but they are mostly full of empty space. When you open them, the actual slice inside is tiny. It is just a thin sliver sitting on a big sheet of paper. Charging almost nine dollars a slice for a few small bites is ridiculous. I almost brought an out-of-town guest here to show off Dallas bakeries, and I am so glad I went alone first. Handing a visitor a micro-slice in a giant box would have been embarrassing. Do not waste your money here. You are paying high prices for tiny portions hidden in pretty cardboard.

My Americano came out hot and had a really good bold flavor. I love adding cream to my coffee, and once I did, it balanced out that strong kick perfectly. The beignets were made fresh to order and took about 7 minutes to come out. They were hot, soft, and very fluffy, almost more similar to a donut than a traditional beignet. Since most of my beignet experience comes from New Orleans, Louisiana, I definitely had a different texture in mind going in. I personally wish they had been a little crispier, especially around the edges, but they were still decent and enjoyable. Overall, I had a good experience. Between the welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, good coffee, and fresh beignets, I would definitely try Le Bon Temps again without hesitation.

First bonus: they have their own little dedicated parking lot, which is definitely appreciated in Deep Ellum. Inside, there's also a cute greenery wall that makes a nice spot for pictures. Now, let's get to the important part-the desserts! They have everything: peach cobblers, banana puddings, ice cream, shakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, cheesecake, brownies, churro sticks and more. But we came to a place called The Peach Cobbler Factory, so naturally we were getting peach cobbler. And then we discovered they have DESSERT FLIGHTS. Genius! I love a flight because you get to try several things without committing to just one. We chose four small desserts--three cobblers and a banana pudding--plus vanilla ice cream with what seemed like a little cinnamon sprinkled on top. Let me just say: this flight was diabetes on a plate. Everything was SWEET. My favorite was the mango peach cobbler. It was very sweet, but that mango and peach combination was delicious and easily took the #1 spot for me. My sister's favorites (and basically tied for my second favorite) were between two. The blackberry peach cobbler. The blackberry gave it that rich, almost blackberry-pie flavor mixed with the peaches, and it was SO good. Then there was the sweet potato pecan cobbler. Completely different flavor from the blackberry peach, so it was almost impossible to compare the two. Sweet potato and pecans together with the cobbler, especially paired with the vanilla ice cream, Delicious. Our fourth choice was the red velvet banana pudding, layered with banana pudding and red velvet with vanilla wafers. That was the one we could leave behind. It wasn't terrible, but with this much sugar and this many calories on the table, it simply wasn't worth the calories for us. Overall, the dessert flight was the star of the show and such a fun way to sample several flavors. Three definite winners out of four, and we had a great time trying them and comparing favorites. A great little Deep Ellum find--and if you go, GET THE FLIGHT! One note: something like 'the flight size was perfect to share, but the full portions looked like way too much. It would have been way too rich. It might be great if they offered that smaller size as a standard option.
