I used to be one of the most loyal, obsessed Jamba Groupies there ever was. Back in the Jamba glory days of the late-aughts and early 2010's; you'd easily find me at JJ on the daily. My have times changed. I was feeling nostalgic and stopped by this location. I've been here many times before, but it had been nearly a year since I had visited. It was a total disappointment. As I approached the employee was blasting exploitative-laced rap music and I had to speak quite loud to place my order. I don't think the employee cared much to measure out the recipe for the smoothie. She made it, only to pour it into the cup and realized it was too thick to move. She then added more liquid. She was pretty much winging it I guess. The smoothie itself was okay. I think it could've used a little more soy milk, but I guess it's alright that the smoothie turned out somewhat okay. But here's the thing. I paid $9 for a small smoothie. Shouldn't the bar be a little higher? No obnoxiously loud music and someone who cared enough to make it right the first time? Doesn't Jamba realize every time one of their employees makes a smoothie, it can make or break their future business? I'm always blown away that they have people on their teams that just seem to be so disconnected from delivering a good product. There's a recipe. All you have to do is follow it to the "T" to make customers happy. And how hard is it to not blast jaw-droppingly offensive music. We had the PALS passports from Galleria Dallas, asking for a drink at Jamba Juice, employee she/he said "We are not taking this", so we went to customer service desk and they fixed it, when we went back to Jamba Juice, the same employee she/he who said "We are not taking this" looked a little mad, perhaps a little too mad, we didn't know what happened, we gave her/him the same cards one more time, she/he signed it but threw the cards back and said "I hate these f***ing cards". The Jamba Juice has a medicinal taste rather than a fresh fruit flavor, making it less enjoyable. I sampled several milkshakes, but none of them were to my liking. I'm a regular at Smoothie King because their smoothies taste better, but when in the Galleria, JJ is better and healthier than Thirsty's. However, last December I purchased a $25 gift card which came with a bonus $5 card to use this year. When I went to try and use them, get this, their POS (point of sale, not the other one) system won't take gift cards anymore. Just who are they kidding? Instead of posting, I emailed their corporate office and they apologized and said they were sending me a free smoothie card. The card never showed up and they still don't accept their own gift cards. It sucks when they are literally supposed to be leaving a good taste in your mouth, but doing the opposite. read more

I've always enjoyed the strawberries wild since day one and got that one more again. Taste wasn't compromised from what I remember in Cali. Which is great! Staff was awesome, helpful and patient while we had our laundry list of indecisive orders. I wish I lived closer to a Jamba Juice. When I used to live in San Francisco, I took them for granted. Now, whenever I'm on vacation and I see one, I make a point to stop in. My favorite is the Aloha Pineapple. And, they are now making them with less calories but they still taste as good. Go for it and save some of those calories. read more

product: it's fine, no problems. Atmosphere: I found inspiration in the horsefly hanging out on top of the white tub on the counter. Not a common fly you see, it had stripes, looked like something i would expect hanging around the ass-end of a zebra at the Fort Worth zoo. If this is the location at the Galleria then congratulations you have caused me to never go to a Jamba Juice ever again. First of all you have 3 teenagers working and I have never received such horrible service in my life, I also have never asked for a refund until now. I went here with my bf, and we were craving a smoothie with kale. The cashier was courteous in the beginning and let us know they did not have kale... So I ordered something else and asked for honey to be added... I guess this was my big mistake! The girl who was making the shakes first asked in a super snarky tone, "you really want honey in this?" like it was so crazy... We said yes, why, to which she laughed and replied that she thought the shake itself was gross and that adding honey to it is disgusting and rolled her eyes at us after we rightfully gave her a look responding to her unnecessary remarks. If you were my employee you would be fired for talking about the products that way! A couple minutes after she started on the smoothie she came back to the register to ask us "are you sure you want the honey?" I replied yes she laughed again and said "alright... Did you want it inside or mixed in with the smoothie?" (already I was pretty annoyed at how long it was taking and the attitude that she was displaying) so I said "yes I want the honey mixed in the smoothie..." she then asked me again in a rude tone "are you sure you don't want it on top?" finally I got so annoyed to the point I raised my voice a little and said "yes why is that so hard to understand? I want the honey inside my smoothie! Why is this so bad?" I could not believe how incompetent this girl was. She ignored my comment, we didn't get any apologies or anything for her behavior and remarks. Finally after having enough I talked to my bf and whispered to him that we should get our money back and take our business else where. While having this private conversation with him I heard the three employees talking rudely about us and giggling. When we asked for our $6 refund (which we payed via credit card) they gave us cash and didn't make eye contact or apologize for the way they treated us. Seriously you are better off spending your money where they appreciate their customers enough to hire decent people! Like seriously... Were these people even trained on customer service? I don't normally write reviews for places unless the experience is REALLY awesome or REALLY awful. Sadly, this experience was truly awful. I just spent 25 minutes waiting for a large smoothie that only filled the cup halfway! What a waste. 8 dollars down the drain. There was a line of customers waiting for their orders to be taken and a second equally long line of customers waiting for their orders to be made and only ONE employee (who was clearly new) trying to make all the smoothies. Two employees were washing containers and chatting amongst themselves. Total lack of urgency in taking or preparing orders (especially considering there were about 20 people waiting near the kiosk.) Orders were being made wrong and/or were lost in the short 4 feet distance from the register to the blenders. When I asked the new employee to remake my smoothie that was only half filled he cussed "god damnit" under his breath and angrily made another (that ended up STILL being only half-way full!). I did not feel respected as a customer and I think that's a shame, because generally Jamba Juice is pretty good about stuff like this. Ordered a small Pomegranate Paradise All-Fruit Smoothie (Pomegranate juice, mango, peaches, and Strawberries). It was great and you can tell that it's all fruit, no sugar added. It was a little sour because the fruit wasn't necessarily the best but I got chunks of fruit so that was nice. I just added a little stevia and it was great. Definitely good for the price and a whole lot healthier than those sugary drinks at Smoothie King. Also quick note: the small is 16 oz. and that is already pretty big. Plan accordingly. read more
