We've never tried Triple O's at this location and we were passing by so decided to get a quick dinner. We recently tried the one in Playland and this one by far is superior. It wasn't busy on a week night but there was a steady flow of customers. The staff waited patiently for us to decide and took our orders with a smile. We asked for a cup of hot water and he happily gave it to us also, so nice! We went to sit at a comfy booth to wait for the food and it was ready shortly. We ordered the Crispy Cod burger and the Monty Mushroom burger. The cod was fantastic! Freshly fried, crispy indeed, and the batter wasn't overly thick. The mushroom burger was good too but just more what you'd expect. The secret Triple O's sauce is always tasty. The fries could've been hotter or fresher but not a big deal. Came here for their 25 years celebration. They had the Triple O original burger for $3.49 on the day. Their burgers were tastier than many places. It is very simple and basic but hey simple and basic sometimes are the best. Triple O is basically the fast food joint of White Spot (which is located within 3 mins drive from this location). There are parking on site and as well they do have drive through available. One con about Triple O regardless if they have a special or not is that it does take a while for them to prepare the burgers or whatever you ordered. They are not like other fast food joint where they have a grill belt where they can just throw some paddy in and it cook itself. Everything was made fresh. The only thing I have to say is that their burgers is tasty but definitely not wow. I also ordered a milkshake when I was there. $6.99 for a regular strawberry milkshake. Had a long day with work and then a 2 hour strata meeting right after. Felt like treating myself so decided to grab dinner from Triple O's using a gift card I won from there. It was a Tuesday so I ordered their Original burger ($4.99), onion rings, and a regular strawberry milkshake. Altogether it came to just under $17. The restaurant was nice and clean and I contemplated eating there but decided to take it home so I could eat and relax. Once I got in the car, I ate a fresh onion ring and it was so good and satisfying! I mean, onions are a vegetable right? I rarely eat fast food so was stuffed eating the burger and onion rings. Both fries were tasty. Too full to order a milkshake but will next time. They use local ice cream made by Island Farms. There's drive thru and an area for dine-in. I used to work near this place but somehow I never popped in for a meal. I finally went in on a Tuesday just to get the legendary burger which was on promotion. As you could read from other Yelpers' reviews, it was no longer a very good deal now. The burger was nice but pretty much the same as any other White Spot or Triple-O's. Likewise for the strawberry milkshake. The place is not very big and the parking lot is quite small. I guess they serve more customers who are doing the drive-thru. My wife & me went last week to Triple O's on Kingsway to order 2 x Impossible Burgers to take away. We had specifically instructed the person taking our order to ensure the Triple O sauce was added in the Burger. Further we had to request for Ketchup as they automatically did not include it in the parcel . Unfortunately when we went home & checked we found they had forgotten to add the Triple O sauce & only applied Mayonnaise sauce. (So taste was not good). We called Triple O Kingsway & complained to the person who took our call. He promised to inform his Manager & said they would call us back. Regret to inform that so far we have not heard from the Triple O -Kingsway Manager. Went to get a burger for lunch today and the Triple O's in Burnaby on Kingsway gets one star for having nice staff. Everything else about the place wasn't great. Walked in before noon and there were several people clustered around the order counter. I wasn't sure where the line was at first to get to the counter to order because no one was help direct folks coming in the door. Watching the staff while waiting in line it seemed like chaos in the kitchen. No one was taking new orders because everyone was trying to put together bags of food. There was NO system in place which you would think would be operations 101 for a burger joint, one person taking counter orders and putting food together only when there is no one else in line, one person taking care of the drive through and the remain 2-3 staff putting together the orders. Finally got to the counter and ordered a bacon cheddar burger, no lettuce or tomato with the regular patty (not the larger one), no combo. When the gal told me the total for my burger was $11.85 I was a bit shocked. I confirmed with her that was the price for the burger alone and yup it sure was. Considering the combo that includes fries and a drink was advertised at $11 and change I thought the burger alone would at least be somewhat less than what I paid. Got back to work and opened the burger packaging and found a very sad looking burger that had a patty that was way over cooked as the edges were black and tasted like it had been sitting on the warmer too long. Definitely NOT worth almost $12. Summary: unorganized kitchen, high prices and poor quality food. Definitely won't EVER go back to Triple O's. read more

Oh man, what a SUPER disappointment. Paid 26 bucks fir a double burger in which the tomato was soggy and NOT fresh, the lettuce had yellowed cause it was also old. The beef patties were burnt around the ebdes and too well done. The fries were DEFINITELY old and had been re heated in the microwave and were hard, not crispy but hard. Great place to bring the kids. Triple O's is the lower end chain for White Spot. Think slightly higher quality than regular fast food places such as A&W or Wendy's. The burgers are tasty and even better on Triple O Tuesdays for $3 and change. For me, I like the double cheeseburger. read more

I went there on a weekday around 3pm,with no one else in the restaurant and ordered two chickens sandwiches with fires,a coke and vanilla milkshake,the order was brought to our table except for the milkshake,which i reminded the server i had ordered,they acknowledge that it was being prepared and he would bring it to our table when it was ready. About 8 minutes went by when i decided to go to the front counter and request a cup of water and my milkshake,i was told the milkshake was still being prepared. Another 15 minutes passed by and still no sight of my milkshake,so i decided to ask for a refund and went back to the front counter where i could clearly see a vanilla milkshake on the prep counter all ready to go minus a lid,it looked like it had been standing there for awhile and the shake was melting. I was in the process of receiving my refund when one of the workers voiced a query as to why i did not want the shake....too which i did not reply,she then continued to pour the now melted shake back into the ice cream container and closed the fridge door. Ok... I have beef with Triple O's $20 for a burger, fry, and shake? I would expect to pay about 25$ at a restaurant for that menu so how is it that a fast food outlet is charging me 80% of that cost but I get no service. The staff there is fantastic but the food is low value for the cost. I say spend the extra $5 and sit down at a restaurant or say $7-10 and go to one of the bigger chains. I think this place has more going for it than white spot itself. White spot burgers in restaurant are often lack luster, due to sitting around too long before delivery to table. This place has a cheap Tuesday special, drive though, excellent shakes, and the food is pretty good. Onion rings are exceptional, burgers (especially chicken burgers IMO) are average fare, not artisan but not fast food quality either. Nice staff always, delicious shakes. I really like the burgers here with their special O sauce. With a drink and fries (their combo) it costs about 7 bucks...that's a pretty good deal! All things considered, and comparing this to the other fast-food places, it really isn't bad. Many reviews will state the Tuesday 'Triple O's' day, which also brought me here as a friend of mine was really craving a burger after walking around the Nikkei Cultural Centre. We could have went to the usual suspects but then I thought it is Tuesday after all. Driving here I remember a long time ago this location actually used to be an Arby's (there is my age being practically told to you all) and I arrived a little before 2PM. The small parking lot that they had was packed, lucky enough there is a lot of street parking, and if you are taking transit, the bus stop is right in front. Also this location has drive-thru service, we decided to eat inside. When you come in here, it really looks like a 70's diner, with the use of bright colors, a nice checkered style floor, chrome around the tables and chairs to give it that extra touch. Once you walk in the counter is right there awaiting your order, the boards aren't as fancy as the newly renovated McDonald's, and in some ways it is nice to see the old style looking feel in here. I ordered the Tuesday special, while my friend ordered a double cheeseburger with fries but not the poutine option, some kind of parmesan mayo mixture. We decided to eat in, and the person taking our money told us to find a table, it still amazes me when you have a service style fast-food joint. The burger actually came pretty well built, not like some of the shambles I see at the usual suspect of fast-food joints, and still retains that White Spot burger taste, and if you are here Tuesday, just so much more savings. I was happy to see that even a burger can have some care associated to it. I do not come to these places often, but if you are past Metrotown, looking for that White Spot taste, want just pure fast-food and A&W or McD's are not what your stomach wants.... but a better variation of that, come here, they have tables, booths, a drive-thru.... and really some pretty tasty burgers. read more

For some reason, Breakfast is always messed up. They don't have that much items on the breakfast menu. The service clerks always forgets to include something like your hashbrowns, or your drinks. Once they forgot to include my sausage. I don't know how many times I have driven back. Forget about getting unbroken eggs. Just live with the fact that your over easy eggs will be broken and mixed all over your bigger breakfast and in the bag. Bigger breakfast is the only item that is not a burger on the menu, you would think that would be so easy to remember what is included. It's never busy so there is no stress so I don't understand it. Writing this as a courier for Skip the Dishes. I've stopped accepting orders from this place due to my last experience here (and previous similar experiences as well). This is how Skip works- you get an alert that there is an order you can accept to deliver. You accept the order on your phone, and are given a pick-up time. The restaurant also gets a pick-up time, so that they can ostensibly time the food to be ready when you arrive, meaning the customer gets it fresh and fast. The app at the restaurant end also tracks you to see how far away you are, then when you arrive at the restaurant, you swipe an alert on your phone to indicate you are there. So I arrive on time, and there is one person in line and a few at the drive through- not exactly crazy busy. While I'm waiting to be acknowledged by the server, with my courier bag in hand, two more Skip couriers come in and get served before me, and I still have yet to be addressed by the server. Finally they take my order number. Minutes pass. I wait. And wait. I get a notification on my phone from Skip dispatch about the amount of time I've been there. I ask the server what's going on and she says "Two minutes". I wait. The guy who was in line before me gets his meal (this means that he got his food first, despite my customer ordering online probably 20 minutes before him). Still waiting. I say "Excuse me, can you let me know what is happening with this order?" The server IGNORES me. It's now been almost 15 minutes since I arrived ("fast" food...). I say "Excuse me, I asked you a question. She ignores me AGAIN. Finally I get my order- a hamburger, fries, and a drink. So two things I find inexcusable- the fact that I was offered no communication, explanation, or apology about what the holdup was (even a lie, like "we had to thaw something out", or whatever) and that that person IGNORED me when I am there representing a CUSTOMER; and the fact that someone can come in, place an order, and get their food before someone who ordered online significantly earlier. These places KNOW when we are coming- it's not hard to have the order ready/almost ready at the time stated on the Skip app. As a courier working to help both the restaurant and the customer, and also as former restaurant General Manager, this is just completely unacceptable. read more

This is fast food but there is no way you can compare this to McDonalds, Burger King , A&W and Wendys. This is like Carl's JR and Five Guys category. Customers be very aware. On several occasions I have received rotten Browning lettuce in the chicken sandwich (which is always overly cooked and hard) causing severe stomach pain. There is no quality control on the food whatsoever. Chicken strips are served hard and crunchy on the outside and raw on the inside. The fries are usually cold and are also hard. No point in complaining to the manager because he will get very defensive and has no customer service skills at all. Don't waste your money unless you want to feel extremely ill, stomach cramping and diarrhea. I will never eat here again due to the very poor quality of food and unsatisfactory customer service. When I tried to call and tell them, all you get is a recording and they don't give you a receipt to tell them it is wrong. The food is good but i will NEVER be back. This place is close to work so I buy lunch from time to time and I have to say their food quality consistency is horrible. I ordered a bacon cheddar burger meal. The gal at the window was great so no complaints there (hence the one star) but when I got back to my office and opened my burger the cheese was melted onto the paper and not on the burger. Considering it's a bacon CHEDDAR burger you would think that the cheese would have been on the burger patty. I scraped what cheddar I could up and tried to put it back on but that was a waste of time and messy. The patty was overcooked, the tomatoes were soggy as heck and the lettuce was one chunk of lettuce placed on one side of the burger instead of spread out nicely. I know its fast food but come on it should have been better than what I got after paying $12.69. A little history I got a crappy burger from these guys quite a while ago so complained. The manager was great and sent me a coupon to try a meal at their expense which I did and the burger that day was tasty. This is the first time back after that meal and the burger was crappy again which is why I won't waste my money on a gamble that the burger I get will actually be edible. I was excited to see a local burger joint so close to my new apartment, other than the regular chains. Big mistake coming here over the consistent Wendy's next door. I have a gluten intolerance and was excited when she said she would just put extra lettuce around the burger. I went all out: double protein style burger, half sweet potato half regular fries, and a chocolate shake. The burger looked like a McDonald's breakfast platter and basically tasted like just a plain beef patty. The normal fries were AWFUL, sweet potato were a 4/10. The ranch on the side was disgusting and the chocolate shake was basic. I really had high hopes and was utterly disappointed. I was warned about white spot but had to see for myself.
