Trident Seafood fish they use canola oil. The company just got our last dollar! Won't be buying your product in the future.

Terrible products. We purchased an assortment and the fish and seafood was either bad tasting or mushy soft. Would never purchase again.

They have horrible leadership, poorly managed staff and are completely obvious to everything taking place in the company.

It is a bit…read morepricey but you're paying for fresh, local food and supporting a local business instead of a giant big box grocer, so I think it's worth the spend every once in a while. The layout of the store is nice and I always feel at peace shopping here whereas larger stores sometimes stress me out.

The manager was helping the woman…read morewho was pricing and told take $1 off because there was no meat and that's the most expensive part of the sandwich. Between that and the coffee, it was a great deal and I decided to make it a more regular thing. When I came back today, another woman priced my sandwich and charged me the same as one with meat. I politely asked her if she could take the $1 off because there was no meat and her response was "Actually, I'm charging you an extra dollar for making it custom." Mind you, there was another woman making breakfast sandwiches behind her... I then watched her take an already made one with meat on it, take off the meat, and then put it in to be heated up. This entire time she was "preparing" my "custom" sandwich, her mask was also below her nose and she was whispering to the other girl and looking back at me. I typically really like MarketTime but that woman is awful. I wasn't rude to her when I asked and her response was really uncalled for. It would have been just fine to say "I'm sorry, I can't do that", or "I'm not sure I'm allowed to do that", or " we have to charge all the sandwiches for the same price point". Here's a photo of the egg with meat bits and seasoning still on it.

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and I am so glad I finally did! We ordered a few things to share and every single dish was delicious! Shrimp toast: this was a great appetizer to share! Very crispy and the sauces on the side gave it a more complex flavor! It came with a sweet mayo and chili sauce. The chili sauce is definitely spicy if you can't handle spice so beware on how much you're using if that's the case. I also really enjoyed the slaw that came with it, it was very refreshing and it had a bit of sweet mayo flavor to it, I think it's the same as the dipping sauce but I could be wrong! Fried oysters: these were delicious! I think fried oysters can be a hit or miss for me, sometimes the interior can feel too dry and feel kinda of mushy-like, like I'm eating bread rather than seafood. But this had great texture on the inside while being crispy on the outside! The sauce on the side tasted like a pepper aioli which gave the oyster a nice tang *the fried dishes were great but after having a few, it definitely felt heavy, so this would be something I share with someone else vs eating it on my own Smoked salmon belly dip: I really enjoyed this! It was creamy and had chunks of salmon in it. It wasn't too dense or thick so it was perfect for scooping onto the kettle chips. The kettle chips were lightly salted so it was the perfect combo with the dip. Clam chowder: wow I absolutely loved this! This is different than any other chowder I've had. While I love a white creamy chowder from your typical seafood places, the base being a fish stock definitely brought out the seafood flavor vs a white chowder feeling like a cream base. This chowder still felt creamy and rich without the seafood flavor being overpowered. Rockfish bowl: the crab rolls were sold out by the time we made it to the register so we opted for this instead and I am so glad that we did. I didn't really expect this to blow me away but this was such a refreshing dish that balanced out the fried dishes we got. It used viet flavors that you may typically find in a banh mi which made it refreshing and had great texture from all the different fresh ingredients and fried garlic. I also loved how the fish came in patty form mixed with pork, it was flavorful and moist. I love any type of fish tofu/patty, I think it really makes fish flavorful when it sometimes can have a really mild flavor. I'll definitely be back to try the crab rolls!

The night before, I'd had oysters at an overly performative but insanely beautiful bar on 12th Ave…read more(iykyk) and they left a lot to be desired. So when I woke up still craving shellfish, RockCreek was the call. It was the right one. A dozen oysters to start: Kumamoto and Shigoku. Clean -- no grit, no sand. Whatever they're doing back there, it's working. The brine was full and present in every shell, and the mignonette hit that rare sweet spot of light but actually seasoned. The Winter Old Fashioned? Get it. It was so delicious. Then came the crab Benedict. The side salad alone was worth writing home about -- big, buttery, peppery leaves draped in one of those feather-light vinaigrettes that sounds simple until you try to replicate it at home and realize you can't. But the real star of the entire plate was the potatoes. Crispy outside, genuinely fluffy inside, seasoned with conviction. A masterpiece is not too strong a word. Closed with a glass of pink wine. Was eyeing the bottle with the piglet on the label, but it was bottle-only -- a distinction I find increasingly arbitrary as a former server and bartender. One day that policy will be a relic. Not yet, apparently. Best brunch I've had in Seattle in two years. Highly recommend.

We ordered some of our go-tos -- hamachi crudo, tuna tartare, and calamari -- and everything was spot on. The vinegar dill fries are exceptional: thin, super crispy, and loaded with seasoning (honestly hard to stop eating). We also tried the loaded fish sandwich and the cornmeal-battered lingcod -- both solid choices. Spicy margarita lived up to its name with a nice kick. It was pretty dead when we arrived around 5pm, with only one other larger table seated, which made for a relaxed, easygoing happy hour. Always a dependable spot when you're craving seafood done right.

I've been coming here for a few years now and then I left the city but whenever I do come back, I make sure to make a pit stop here. Why? Work is right next door to it. So that helps. But also, I feel like the veggies and fruits here are fresh, crisp, and tastier than other places. However... I do feel like prices are a bit higher than last time I was here a couple of months ago. They have parking in the back. It's small and getting in and out alive is a miracle each time. But it exist. If you elect to park on the street, parking enforcement is out everywhere and so be weary. I like their hot bar and salad bar. Always a rotation of items that keeps it busy interesting over time. What I don't think they are good for is snacks. Sometimes I just want something simple and not healthy and this place ain't it. I think this place is better for medium size shops.

I love having access to a larger H-Mart as the U-district location is a lot smaller and limited in selection. What blows my mind about this H-Mart is their beauty section, which is decently stocked with skincare, make up and hair products. What I LOVE is that they have Tir Tir skin cushions in stock. It has been one of my holy grails since they went viral on TIKTOK, and it was a pain-in-the-ass to order them online. Now, I have the convenience of stopping by to pick up a cushion when my heart desires. I wear N22 or N24 depending on the time of year. They also sell the Amuse brand, which I fell in love with during my Seoul vacation a couple years back but they unfortunately didn't have the Dew Power SPF 50 ++ cushion in Tan here. Aside from skin care, I do enjoy their hot foods selection especially the kimbap. It brings me joy to recreate my favorite snacking experience in Seoul: kimbap and an iced coffee. I also love I have restock my KANY instant coffees, Gomtang instant noodle cups, mandu and more from this location. One area of improvement is their meat selection. I was hoping it would be as big as the Lynnwood location but it feels like an afterthought at the Ballard location. Luckily I can still find most of my groceries here and can always supplement what I can't find here at either Fred Meyer or Asian Family Center up on Aurora.

My interest was piqued on grand opening day (6/5/25) since the FTR Yelp Elite, Andrew T posted a positive review. This was in contrast to The College Friend who also visited earlier in the day who did not have an enjoyable experience. So I decided to stop by around 8pm to check out the new Seattle/Ballard location. Busy parking lot shared with other adjacent businesses. It was nice to wander the entire store visiting later in the evening. Lots to look at - fresh produce, meat and seafood, refrigerated items, frozen items, and other retail items nicely shelved. Pantry items. Snacks. Beverages. Kitchen ware. Beauty products. Hot prepared food. Well lit, clean, and organized. The greater Seattle area is fortunate to have vast international stores: Asian, Latino, Eastern European that come to mind. This new Ballard location essentially is another international store with a Korean focus. For sure, you can get your kimbap, banchan, kim chee, and soju here. Staff was present restocking and organizing sections and shelves, but one can tell it must of been a hectic grand opening judging from the guy who handed me a flyer at the entrance, to the checkout person ringing up my few purchases. I bought 3 bunches of green onions (99 cents), delicious CA strawberries ($1.99), chips ($3.49), and hot takoyaki ($7.99). Love how Ballard, historically a Scandinavian neighborhood in Seattle, added H Mart and noticed Exit 5, a future huge Korean (KBBQ) is taking up the corner of 24th and Market. Cheers to international diversity!
