Every single fish is packed with roe and tastes incredible. It's much better quality than what you typically find at standard grocery stores. * ​Smoked Mackerel: I picked this up on my last visit along with the shishamo, and it was delicious. It is impossible to leave a bad review on the company's website, all product reviews are fake, So I will leave this honest review here. First... Gosudarev Zakaz Salmon (Red) Caviar 907 g (2 lbs) can https://www.red-caviar.com/products/rc907grc/gosudarev-zakaz-salmon-red-caviar-907g-2lbs-can I don't know who writes good reviews for this product. These people have never tried good red caviar. I bought 5 cans at once, saving on delivery, as it turned out - in vain. In a few month we were able to eat 4 and a half cans without pleasure, the rest we just threw away. Even the freshest baguette and butter do not save this so-called caviar. It is impossible to eat - rare, oversalted crap, with a rancid taste. There is no trace of "graininess". The expiration date on the can has not expired, all the cans were stored in the refrigerator. Second... Bowfin Black Caviar 200 g (7 oz.) jar It may be caviar, but it doesn't even come close to black caviar. After a couple of months in the refrigerator, the contents of the freshly opened cans turned into a black "plastic" mass. It's impossible to eat. Rubbish - don't buy it. read more

Wow, this caviar is very good. Ignore the grumpy reviews, this store (and manufacturer) is definitely a hidden treasure! When I visited, I let the store clerk know it was my first time here and she helpfully guided me through the options, which were: * 4 types of prepackaged, "retail" grade caviar with preservatives making it last an appropriate amount of time to be sold in retail locations. This is the caviar you can buy that comes in retail packaging. * what the store clerk described as "fresh caviar" - it does not have any preservatives so it would spoil quicker and it is sold out of takeout container. The minimum purchase quantity is 1 lb and it goes for I think around $45. I bought 2 kinds of retail grade caviar and it was very, very good. Being a Russian person, I have been skeptical of buying non-Russian origin caviar, but this is the real deal. This is honestly better than whatever caviar my family brings me over from Russia whenever they travel. I can't imagine what the fresh caviar is like. I can't wait to try it. They also sell a large assortment of fish related products, your typical staples like pelmeni, dry goods like eastern european spices, sparking waters like Borjomi, dairy products like tvorog, etc. You will find the basic staples here. The store is located in an industrial area and is not very easy to find. The neighbors are luxury vehicle body shops, so it's funny coming here and seeing busted up Lamborghinis parked out front. I (along with other customers) spoke Russian inside, but the store clerk was very accomodating to my non-Russian speaking friend in perfect English. read more

It seems to me that this company does not care about business. I placed an order on Tuesday and only 6 days later at the end of Monday they create a shipping label and also they have a minimum limit out of 5 items and don't offer free shipping, most companies do when you pay over $140. read more

This is an hidden gem in Bellevue. I came here for wholesales Red Caviar and Kaluga Caviar. Their prices are amazingly cheap with great products. I was hesitated to buy 1kg of Red Caviar without sample it. But when I got home and shocked about the quality of the caviar. They were not salty nor had any fishy smell especially the Red Caviar. I gave some to my Russian and Japanese friends to try out. They were all agreed how delicious these caviar. I love, love and love their Kaluga Caviar. Their hot smoke fish were cheap and yummy. This was my first order from Red-Caviar. I am almost afraid to write a review as if they get too popular they may raise their prices, but so what. This is the best salmon caviar I have ever had and for a fraction of the price of other sellers. I tried 4 of there salmon caviar's and all were excellent, but Golden Keta was the best of the four I tried. You can't go wrong ordering from this company and I have never seen better customer support. They will answer your questions within a hour on a business day! I really have to be suspicious of the two people that gave this company a bad rating. It certainly wasn't based on the superior quality and price of there product and excellent customer service. Japanese grade red Caviar / Ikura. We buy it from the counter in person. My wife is from Japan from a restaurant family and I lived two of my years there in Hokkaido which is a Mecca for the stuff. Do taste first as some variants are better than others and you may need to soak in water for a minute or two if too salty. read more

I've been mail-ordering red caviar from Awers for 4 or 5 years. The quality of the caviar has been excellent, and their shipment methods and timeliness outstanding. Shipping presents some challenges, since the caviar must be kept cold, but not allowed to freeze. I buy mine during the winter months, for shipping to Virginia, clear across the USA. My home refrigerator is kept at 36F; the caviar seems to keep fine for at least a year -- at which time I am ready to re-order. All my friends who like caviar have enjoyed my Awers purchases, and often ask if I have a jar/can I am willing to sell to them. Sometimes they get lucky! ;-) read more

I had a very bad experience with this store. We had bought some red pearl caviar and three cans that we had opened tasted very bitter and awful! I had called the manager of the store the day before and she had "promised" me that we should refund me. The following day, I brought back the remaining jars (which were unopened and sealed just as we had bought them) to the store with the original receipt and they did not want to even consider reimbursing me in any way.
