This is a solid bar - great crowd here. The food is pretty good as far as bar food goes, too. I'd recommend this place for drinks with friends, a casual meal, catching up with loved ones... Of all the bars in Tucson (and there are A LOT), this is one of the best. read more

I really like Trident. I just stopped in a few years ago for a beer and it slowly became my favorite happy hour spot. Great burgers and beer. Good people. read more

So we went back to Trident this past Sunday afternoon and had a completely different experience than the first time. We had gone over a year ago and pretty much been completely ignored by the waitresses even though it was not very busy. This time, the place was full, being Sunday and packed with football watchers, but the wait staff was quite attentive and the food was delicious (A couple different burgers and a really good salad). Much much better the second time around. read more

Good spot when barhopping, simple military theme, karoake on friday nights. I'LL BE BACK

Food was great! Place was packed seems to be very popular hang out spot. I would definitely return

Perfect Sportsbar!!! Nice People, very nice Service & very good Food!!! Every Time i stay in Tucson i will enjoy the Trident!!!! read more

Came in to watch the Warriors game and stayed for the food and drinks. Fun environment, attentive but not annoying, and full of sports fans. I love that they're repping DC sports in Tucson, AZ. read more

If there's a way to screw up a veggie burger, this is the place to do it. Gave it a couple of tries, but still not very good. Also, please be aware that if you want to converse at your table, you'd better learn sign language. The volume is way too loud for such a small place! There's no reason for this. read more

Great service and enough of a variety of beer on tap to satisfy most. Second time here and I love the place. Wish I lived closer..... The habanero jerk wings will melt your face clean off of your skull. But they're sooooooo good. It's fine until you stop eating. Then the heat kicks the door down. Get an extra side of celery....trust me! read more

We came here after a long day in the Saguaro National Forest. My husband wanted a green Chile burger and this place came up. The food was pretty good. He really liked his burger (definitely not as good as some of the ones we had in New Mexico.) I had a pesto chicken sandwich that was yummy. Nothing remarkable about the service. A crew of young college girls that were neither rude or nice. We didn't care for the sports bar atmosphere but that's just us. read more

Wow... this place rocks when it's game time. Grab a few of their shrimp tacos and an order of nacho's and you are set. No... I forgot to order the brew. Bring me two please. read more

Great value for the money and almost always great service. Jason and Nelson are often there and happy to address any concerns. Occasionally AMAZING specials which have included Cioppino. If they could more easily reduce cilantro for the 10-15% of the population that feel it tastes like soap, as I do, they'd be even better. My go to place for a quick drink. read more

food was ok but it took them 30 mins to plate our food. then they gave us a lame excuse of needing to redo one plate. mean while 3 tables after us where served the same dish. where i come from that ain't right. The only reason they received 2 stars is after mentioning the time it took, they gave us a discount, the reality is the food is just so so. plenty of other places around with better food. read more

Trident is one of my favorite bars in Tucson. It is always busy but never overpacked, the atmosphere is perfect. The bartenders are among the best in town and you will surely have a great time here. The food is also very good, they have so many different options on the regular and happy hour menu and I have never been disappointed. Happy Hour is 4-7PM, $3 drafts! read more

retired Navy SEAL Miller's bar is the best bar in town. Feels like a big family in there. Great food and East Coast vibe. Best place to watch Skins games! read more

Great place to watch NFL with a DC-area crowd in Southern AZ.

Here is what you need to know. They make an amazing burger. I like simple burgers. No deconstructing, no foofoo cheeses, no uppity breads....just good, simple ingredients that make a delicious burger. Trident nails it. They also offer more than just fries as a side. You can choose from potato salad, mac and cheesr among others. When you go order the Wildcat and thank me later. read more

Great hole in wall place to have drink and a bite to eat. Good menu selection that's reasonably priced.

Ate at the new location on swan today. Decor was nice and modern. Food was okay, but nothing special. Had the green chili turkey melt. It was good, but wasn't impressed. The irish egg rolls were a pleasant surprise. Pretty good, but overpriced considering you only get 4 for 8$. This location just opened I believe yesterday. Service was great, but took approx. 40 minutes to get our food and they were only moderatly busy. Overall, I'd go again, but probably wouldn't be my first choice in Tucson. read more

Surprisingly tasty food with an admirable selection of beers. The burgers and sandwiches pair well with the bells two hearted IPA. The thai chicken salad is a great salad, and with an enormous size to it. Avoid this establishment during spectacle sporting events as it fills up quickly with regulars. Hopefully there will be more space with the second swan road location open now. read more

Born and raised in Tucson then moved nine years ago. Enjoyed Trident before I moved away, and after recently stopping back in on a short visit with my brother, it's clear they have raised the bar. Entire staff was welcoming, accommodating, friendly and authentic. We were only here for two days, but after a great experience on day one, we headed back to watch a few games on day two. I'll be sure to visit again next time I'm in town. read more

It looks like there is a lot of good reviews for this site. But I did NOT have a good or decent experience there. My coworkers and I made a reservation to eat there during our lunch hour. We specifically asked for a table and when we got there it's a booth. Ok, that's fine now the waitress took our drink orders and brought them to us and took our menu order and that was the Last time we saw her. This Trident site is not a large building and not that many tables. There were at least 6 waitresses working, yet somehow it was impossible for our waitress to come check on us. To see if maybe we needed more drinks or to let us know the food was running a little late, but nothing. Mind you like most places we only get a hour lunch. It's 45 after now still no food no waitress. We asked another waitress if she could please get our waitress for us. The manager came to our table and said he would have our food right out. We no longer have time to eat it so we asked to take it with us and asked for the check, which again we specified we were all on separate checks. He comes back with the food and says no worries one of the meals will be deducted. Well who's meal, since we're all on separate checks. He had no idea we weren't on the same check. It's 50 after now still no check, so we left and left the food there. That was the worst experience I had. Maybe the food is good there but the service from that one waitress was Horrible!!! She made the restaurant look bad with her bad service. Maybe the restaurant is usually a good place to go but this day with that waitress it was ridiculous. read more

This place is great! You walk in expecting a typical bar with typical bar food... ABSOLUTELY NOT! This is FAR more than just that. Amazing fresh seafood, hearty and tasty salads, inventive and delicious apps... seriously, how have we not been here sooner?! You've made Trident fans for life and we will be back often! Cannot recommend this place enough... we will definitely make this a must stop for any friends coming to Tucson! read more

Good staff and great menu. Best place around for Sports and Beers. The standard Bar fare is good, but the burgers are incredible and the shrimp is POW! read more

I fell in love the second I walked in the door! The bartender made me the best bloody mary. I had homemade macaroni and cheese, a black n blue burger and coleslaw! I'm goin in for more!!! Definitely the coolest place to be! read more

The food at the Trident is awesome. They don't try to be something they are not - they don't have a menu will 500 things on it - but they do have a menu which provides something for everyone. Like Clam Chowder- Get it HERE! simply - it's the best in Tucson. I worked in and ran a seafood restaurant in Tucson in the late 80's and early 90's - haven't found chowder as good as we made then - until now! Seriously! You want a burger- they got 'em - want sports- any sport? they got it! over 15 TV's with any sport you want - and they have those little speaker boxes that you can put on your table to hear the game you are watching. This restaurant is friendly to kids and has the best Mac & Cheese for them (not to mention - most adults find it awesome too!) How about after happy hour (which is one of the best in Tucson by the way)? Yep - the scene turns a little more tavern like and brings in a great crowd! Drink specials all the time and plenty of beers on tap. If you have been to the Trident - you know all I say above in true - If you haven't - go check it out and enjoy! read more

I'm into the old and new mix in a resturants ambiance. Strip House nailed it on the head with the classic pictures all over the wall and burlesque feel. I'm into the 1920-30 era and they had me excited since thier website. The steaks were some of the best I've ever eaten. Their sauce is so tangy and sweet. My girlfriends had the pasta which was so buttery and rich...So Good! I also had the duck potato. That was so amazing!! I love this place and higly recommend it to all. ENJOY! read more

This is a great place to hang out with friends and catch whatever sports thing is on. My sister introduced me to this place since the owner is affiliated with the Navy. We have always had great food and really good beer. I am not a beer drinker but their selection of ciders and beer plus cider mixes is fantastic! It can get crowded on the weekends but the wait is well worth it. read more

We called ahead to make sure there was room. The person who answered said there was room now, but a large group coming in about an hour. He asked for our name and reserved a corner booth for us, nice touch. Our server was very friendly and full of smiles. They had Racer 5 IPA, one of my fav's. The burgers were really good and there were many choices all with flare. My favorite things were the fried pickles though. They did it right. Normally they do it with slices, like circles of pickle. Trident does it in spears, which are perfect! I have to say, they may look like a burger bar, but they are friendly, caring, and they do food really well. The salads looked awesome too as some of our group had them. Seriously, nothing wrong with this location, including the overall cost. Go here, you won't be sorry... read more

Best grilled salmon and crab cakes. Who knew??? In Tucson?? Excellent seafood!!! Stop by, open late and great beer selection. Even Kilkenny on draft. I'm impressed. The clam chowder was amazing, too. I will definitely stop to eat here every time when I am back in Tucson. read more

It was my first time here after hearing lots of good things from my golf buddies who go there before every basketball game. It was a Friday night and while not slammed had a nice buzz about it. I ordered their "Love Plate", their version of a fruit/cheese plate. I guess it is a rotating selection weekly and this one had Brie, Smoked Gouda and a goat cheese. It also had cornichons, pear, a hard salame and some crostini. Not a bad little plate but the pears were awful. Too hard, not ripe, no flavor. I told my waitress of my issues and she immediately brought over the manager. She seemed sincere in her concern and immediately went back to find me a substitute. The food was decent pub fare. They had some really great beers on tap with a rotating guest tap but really it was the great service and the attention of their staff that will bring me back. 5 stars had the food come out perfect the first time. read more

My husband and I went to Trident on Sunday to watch the Patriots Broncos game. The place isn't too big and was pretty crowded, but we managed to find a few spots by the bar. Trident is owned by a Navy veteran. The entire place is covered in military memorabilia. It's really neat. I wished it wasn't so crowded so I could really scope the place out. The atmosphere was great. Both the staff and the patrons were friendly. Our bartender, Sarah, was attentive, down to earth, and funny. Trident has about 12 beers on tap, as well as wine and liquor. They have a full menu with appetizers, salads, and sandwiches. I hear the fish n' chips is awesome. My husband and I went in between lunch and dinner, so we ordered the fried pickle spears for a snack. Hands down the best fried pickles I have ever had. The pickle to breading ratio was perfect. I definitely recommend going to Trident if you're looking for a unique - and friendly! - bar. read more

good food, great service, awesome atmosphere....retired Navy SEAL owner, friendly to veterans and service members...discounts for U of A employees...great lunch spot, always fast and delicious...HUGE BEER SELECTION...tons of charitable work done by owner and staff, toys for tots, salvation army, breast cancer, veterans causes etc....one of Gabby Giffords fav places in town...hard to beat the great food at reasonable prices when combined with friendly staff and civic responsibility...if you love America, Arizona or Tucson - This is your place....if you don't I know a goat bbq joint in Kabul that may be more your style read more

Came for the first time today with family and Bailey was excellent, she was friendly and attentive and THE FOOD was incredible. All I can say is the food and the service was great! "Management " not so much. She was very rude didn't feel welcomed by her at all.I was there today for the clam chowder there was bacon on it I don't like bacon so the waitress took it back.I could see the manager roll her eyes which I thought was very rude but thanks to the waitress it got fixed and it was YUMMY! All in all I probably wont be back if she is there. read more

This place is a good place for what it is. It is sports bar in a college town, across the street from the university. The drinks are affordable, the food is good for the price you pay. The staff can sometimes be a little preoccupied, but most of the staff say 70% is college students. However, on the plus side, this place is owned and operated by a retired Navy SEAL. It is actually similar to a bar in Coronado California.McP's Pub. However, I believe Nelson spent more time in Dam Neck Virginia based on all the Redskins memrobilia. All in all a good place to grab a beer, a burger/sandwich and watch a game. read more
