Iced Latte with SF vanilla and 1% milk (20oz)
Emily W.

Cute little coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Big parking lot and had no troubles finding a spot on a busy Saturday morning. Service was VERY quick I believe I was in and out in less than 5 mins. Staff was very lively and kind. Loved my latte! Was strong and just what I needed! They also have many flavor options, including SF ones.

I loved the aesthetic of this coffee shop! Very modern with lots of different spaces to gather with friend or work /study in a space by yourself. They had the option GM to take beans by the lb home which I thought was really cool. The staff was friendly. The coffee to me wasn't the best . I tried 2 different lattes. 1.iced toffee nut latte- wasn't good tasted like it had almond flavoring and kinda fruity and watered down- not my thing. 2. I'm not sure of the name but it was a latte with mushroom in it I ordered it hot, it was alright. Tasted just like plain coffee with steamed milk. I was looking for something with a full body flavor and creamy. I wouldn't order either item again but if I'm the area I would give it another chance and maybe pick up some Bean to bring home.

Chocolate muffin and toffee nut Hot Latte
Lauren H.

This was my first time coming here. The place is cute- kind of a mix of weird Austin and Pinterest. The chairs and tables are a bit hodgepodge. The leather living room style chairs are definitely a bit older and slightly run down but the tile on the walls is super cute. I got the toffee nut latte and a chocolate muffin. I believe all the baked goods are from Quack's bakery, which I really like. I've never tried a toffee nut latte but it was pretty good. They have grab and go sandwiches and breakfast tacos in the morning. I didn't check the full menu. I'm not in this part of town for breakfast or coffee often. I'm not sure I'd go out of my way, but I'd come back if I was in the area.

Iced Latte, add simple syrup!
Grant C.

Wow! Honestly, literally the best espresso I have ever tasted, no joke. I always get iced lattes with some flavor, but Trianon would be the only exception to this rule. I could drink anything they have as is, that's how delicious I think their espresso is! The drinks are always made quickly, and as fresh as can be! They have a convenient bar where you order with simple syrup, honey, cinnamon, and sugar, which I always take advantage of since their simple syrup tastes just like vanilla! I have never had a bad experience here, the baristas are so kind and are happy to be there, and I love seeing them interact with usuals! It's also helpful they have breakfast tacos in the morning, and plenty of pastries! I love Trianon, and it's aswesome it's such an Austin classic, everyone needs to come here more often!

Matcha latte
Angela Y.

On the drinks - When I first received my matcha latte ($3.50 for the smaller size), I saw chunks of matcha at the top, almost as if the barista did not mix it at all. I asked them to remake it, and they gave me a shaken matcha (I believe), which was delicious and had a layer of matcha foam at the top. They don't sweeten the drink, which I actually prefer, but it was a lot less sweet than matcha drinks I've had from other coffee shops. My boyfriend, who is a barista an Austin specialty coffee shop, got a geisha pour over (beans are sold at Trianon for $65/pound, and the drink itself was $8/cup), which is known for tasting extremely fruity. He said it didn't taste special but couldn't tell if it was because of the bean or the drink preparation. On the atmosphere - There's a small room in the back with additional seating, but it was reserved when we were there. The seating in the main area was plentiful with lots of sunlight. The furniture was slightly dated but still comfortable. The music and baristas were too loud for me, so I moved outside. There's an outdoor area with picnic tables that's open to all customers. It was a lovely day to be in the sun.

Unbelievably rude staff and horribly watered down drinks. The place was filthy: wet floors and the trays were full of dirty dishes. Skip.

Service for the latte was a little slow even though it didn't seem like too many people were before me waiting for their drink. Very cute vibes. Things Mozart's does well: food and desserts…read more Drinks are falling behind. The peach cobbler matcha just tasted like matcha so why bother calling it peach cobbler? There was some stuff sprinkled on top but very disappointing. Things that are not so great: 1. Orders are all over the place. We got a matcha, a cold brew, and a drip. Matcha came out first. Never got a cup for the drip so had to ask. Also had to remind barista about the cold brew, which is easier and faster to make than the matcha given you just pour it in a cup with ice. Do they just jump around from ticket to ticket when making drinks? 2. I asked for our desserts to be in to go boxes and I wanted our savory food heated up because we were going to eat it there. I said this 3-4x. Everything was placed in to go containers so I had to take the savory food out and ask again for it to be heated up. Food placed after us was already in the toaster so we had to wait extra long for our food to be placed in there and heated up. 3. Music is way too loud. Can't even talk. Thankfully there was a longer than scheduled break in-between the first band and the second band that we could actually talk and enjoy our food. 4. The wait times are ridiculous. The line does NOT move that fast. Probably because people have to keep asking the workers where their stuff is. 5. Parking is terrible. A woman and her friend pulled out and I pulled in only to have valet claim it was their spot. How did a woman and her friend walk to her car and pull out if it was valet? There was also no cone but sure, it belongs to valet. Was this a way of trying to get us to pay? Touristy trap. Yes, I know there is an overflow lot. It is usually packed/full. I was also with elderly parents. Good luck walking down that hill without falling. They used to have someone in a little cart take people back and forth but not anymore. I tipped $8 for worse than Chipotle/Subway service. I've been here on a weekday mid-day before and they've forgotten my iced Americano before. I've had to go up and ask the baristas just standing around and clearly not working on my drink. Then I would sit down and 5-7 min would go by. Still no drink. Go back to the front. They say, oh there's your drink (half melted). I was sitting inside at a table talking with a friend. Surely if they called my name, I would have heard them but I guess they cannot be bothered. I've been coming to Mozart's since high school since I live nearby. Service has become a joke. It's turned into a tourist attraction with prices to match and extremely long lines The food is good, I will give them that. Once the food quality goes down, there is absolutely no point in coming. I also worked as a barista in high school and college. I can adequately judge the level of service as I've been through the crazy rushes. The service is terrible here. It's like they think because they're Mozart's on the lake, they can just not care about providing good service. The people working there, while always polite, do not seem like they like working there. I dont know how to explain it. I think it's because Mozart's is tourist attraction and no longer an actual Austin coffee shop. It feels like Starbucks right at the point Starbucks sold out. It's such a shame. I live a few minutes away so I would like to come here more often but every time I come, I'm always a bit unhappy about my visit.

They sell coffee by the pound, likely for those serious coffee lovers who have fancy expensive coffee machines. I was looking for a latte. Bad news...this coffee company sells coffee by the pound not lattes (hence the name). Good news... they sell drip coffee for $2.00 + tax. What a deal! This family owned shop has been roasting beans locally since 1972 and focuses on helping customers brew excellent coffee at home rather than serving coffee drinks on premises. According to the store manager, Mr. Anderson occasionally comes into the store. The selection of freshly roasted beans is rather larger, with store favorites like Guatemala Antiqua, Dark Sumatra and Arabian Mocha cited as most popular. Coffee cost on average $19 per pound. In addition to coffee, the store carries loose leaf teas, mugs, candy, cards, coffee pot sweaters, brewing equipment, and small other gift items, to name just a few items. I was totally and completely enamored with this store. They had so many trinkets and interesting items, you literally could peruse for hours. Captivating environment...Loved it...
