I was supposed to get a graduated bob haircut, but the new stylist didn't seem to know what she was doing and, for some reason, only cut the back of my hair??? Now I have to go somewhere else to get a proper layered haircut. Honestly, I was never all that impressed with this salon to begin with, and now I understand why. The staff isn't very friendly, especially the front desk receptionist and Pam (the owner) tends to stay in the back, avoiding customers at all costs. I got a haircut from Abby after seeing her bio on the Trianon website. She said she specialized in shorter, low maintenance cuts and that was exactly what I was looking for after having grown my hair out for a few years. I was ready to go back to short but was worried about maintenance and still being able to pull it back out of my face. I was able to request an appointment online, and someone followed up with me a few hours later with availability, and I was able to get in within a week. Abby delivered AND THEN SOME! She is an absolute joy to work with and she truly listened to my concerns and gave me an outstanding cut. I love how it turned out and she was so pleasant to sit in a chair and chat with for an hour. This salon has been my go-to for over a year and their service is top-notch. The space is always clean, and the staff is friendly. I started as a hair model, and the apprentices there are so professional. Long has done an excellent job on my hair every time, he gets the perfect shade of red that I asked for based on reference photos. On my last visit, Sarah took care of my hair, covered up the greys, and used red toner to freshen up my color and roots, the results were fantastic. I cannot believe that I have never reviewed Trianon Salon. I have been a more than satisfied customer for several years. I first see John for my haircolor. He is an artist! I have been through a few different colors with him, finally deciding on a lovely strawberry blonde that he created especially for me. So lovely infact, that people stop me on the street to compliment it. John himself is so lovely that just sitting in his chair and chatting with him is something I look forward to. After my time with John I move to Abby's chair. She is a delight! We always have something to talk about as she wields her scissors, and like John, creates magic hair. I also want to give a shout out to the shampooers who give a great massage, and never get water down my back or in my eyes. Julia, at the front desk is great as well. She is always patient and helpful. I can't say enough good things about Trianon. The lady who answered my call was super helpful to guide me through next steps and scheduled me a consultation appointment with Tara. She is amazing! I'm updating my review to 0 stars. I've been a regular client for years and I would come here all the time to cut my hair and lighten it from dark brown to light brown. I recently decided to change my hair color and wanted to go light ashy brown. As the stylist was not certain that she would be able to pull it off, we decided to make a test and I would pay for her time and the test. We tested the dye on one strand. My hair turned very red and I'm glad that I requested a test prior to dyeing my entire hair so I would definitely recommend asking for a test if you're looking to make a big change from your natural hair color. It would have been a disaster. Anyhow as I go to pay to the cashier, she asked I pay a full hair dye service. I tried to explain that I did a test and I was looking to come again for the full hair dry. The cashier asked me to wait as she went to speak with the owner and here is why I am giving them a 0 star rating. In my opinion, the owner was quite rude when she came. Instead of asking and hearing from the client she demanded loudly and rudely to pay in an attempt to publicly shame me. She asked me to pay and leave the place. I was very shocked, humiliated, and heartbroken. Thank god the stylist came and explained the misunderstanding. Still I will never come here again. read more

My first visit was a very pleasant experience from the front desk, to being responsive (watch that appointment responses via Yelp don't land in your spam folder) to the colorist who did an excellent job and the gentleman who was thoughtful and exacting cutting my hair. They served me hot, good coffee and made sure I was comfortable.
