I DO NOT recommend this salon. I went with my sister Sandy W to get her hair colored, and I was getting a color consultation also. After seeing how my sister's hair turned out, I cancelled my appointment. During her initial consult they told her should would be getting highlights to break up the darkness at the crown and fixing what they called the "greenish cast to her hair". Well the hairdresser suddenly changed her mind and decided to due lowlights instead for no logical reason that she could explain and said "it was easer for her". When she was drying her hair I could see approximately 2 or more inches of dark almost black at the top of her hair and then the rest of her hair was light. I could not believe it. Then to boot there was hair color on her skin and forehead near her eye by her temple (quite a bit). She actually told my sister to clean it off at home with nail polish remover because she could not get it off. I was appalled and it wasn't even me sitting in that chair. And they boast that this girl was the color trainor at the salon. I would never put nail polish remover on my skin nor anywhere near my eye. This was extremely unprofessional and to change service after a consult was just another unprofessional maneuverer. They made no effort to return the ridiculus amount of money for lowlights as she lost all trust in them. I would not go there. read more

Absolutely awful experience please read before booking. I came to Glow Salon with one major priority: to keep the integrity of my hair. I made this very clear from the beginning. Unfortunately, what I got was the complete opposite. After the appointment, I noticed that half of my hair was significantly thinner than the other. Why? Because Maggie who did my hair was aggressively yanking the foils out instead of gently unfolding them. I could literally feel and hear my hair snapping. It wasn't just careless it felt downright malicious. When I politely asked questions about the developer strength (10 or 20 volume, etc. basic stuff if you've had your hair done before), I was shut down and told I was being "difficult." I wasn't rude, just informed my mom was a hairdresser, so I know enough to ask the right questions. But instead of receiving transparency, I was met with condescension and what honestly felt like a mean-girl clique energy. Between the dismissive attitude, the lack of professionalism, and the damage done to my hair, I left feeling disrespected and disappointed. This salon seems more focused on ego than actual care. I had my first haircut here today with Bailey and I am happy to say I will be coming back! I was a little nervous about the salon's pricing style because my hair is very long and thick. I've been seeing Tara for more than three years now and am so happy to have found her as my hair guru. I always love my experience with her for two reasons: 1) she does an amazing job with my hair and keeps it HEALTHY, 2) I enjoy and admire her as a person. Vanessa was very articulate in justifying her reasons for cutting and styling my hair a certain way. I appreciated her input and it did make sense. She has a great personality and she said she was vaccinated. The hair cut, washing, and blow drying took about 1.5 hours and cost about $40 without taxes and tip.
