Looks like this place is hit or miss. After receiving a recommendation, I brought my friend's Honda here for servicing. The purpose of the appointment was for a 100K servicing. Dropped the car off the night before (left key and contact information in dropbox) and by 12pm the next day, still hadn't received a call with an estimate for the work that needed to be done. Called to get an update and was told by Michael that the car hadn't even been looked at yet (this was four hours after the appointment time, this wasn't a drop off situation) and he asked why it had been dropped off?! Apparently they were "busy." I guess they decided to just let the car sit and work on other jobs that were perhaps more urgent in nature. Thanks for wasting my time guys. Next time, may I suggest calling the customer if you're not sure about something? Just a suggestion.. What is this.. April Fool's? Triangle Motors, shame on you for this foolishness. I was clear when I made the appointment and spoke with Diane why the car was being dropped off. Although there wasn't a specific issue with the vehicle, it hadn't been serviced in over a year and was running rough - hence the appointment. Do your job folks and figure out what needs to be serviced and act accordingly. This is what you're being PAID to do. I have been going here for years. If you have a Honda or an Acura and plan to keep it past the warranty, they will help you maintain it for many years. Triangle Motors have always provided great, honest work. Hourly labor costs are far lower than many other places. They also buy and sell used Hondas and Acuras. read more

I've got nothing but great things to say about Triangle Honda. I've taken our cars there for years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else for major service. I've tried trusting other places and have always been disappointed. IE: I went to Shockley Honda dealership one time to get my oil changed and the idiot tech there stripped my darn oil pan drain hole and tried to charge me for it. I told that fool that it was fine when I brought it in and they better make it fine before I leave or they will be talking to the Honda Corporate Office. I have never had to worry about shady service with Triangle Honda. They always go above and beyond the call of duty to take care of us. God-willing, we will be customers with them until we aren't driving anymore. And then our kids will be customers! read more

I have five Honda's and wouldn't take them any other place. I first came to them after a dealership told me I needed to replace the entire A/C system for $3,000. I brought it to Triangle for a second opinion - and they replaced a fuse - total charge was less than $40. I've been with them ever since. read more

Very disappointed in recent service experiences. This used to be a prompt, reasonable trustworthy place to bring your vehicle for maintenance and repairs but has shown a huge decline in professionalism and quality over the last couple years. Poor communication, and always feeling like we need to call to make sure they haven't forgotten about us. They seem to want to do a lot of "quick fixes" rather than dealing with the cause and this seems to result in more problems later. We take our car for one small thing, and soon after something else bigger happens, never fails lately..kind of strange. VERY disappointing! Beware. read more

I love this place! The prices are much more reasonable than that other place in town that services Honda and Acura cars. The service department is quite friendly and speedy. I stopped by recently at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon for an impromptu oil change and I was out within 30 minutes. Their policy on oil changes, no appointment needed, just stop by and they'll take care of you. If your car needs a genuine "Honda" part, they get it from that other place in town. So in the end, you realize that you are getting a better price on service. While they don't have a "shuttle service", they do offer car rentals at a reduced rate if your car needs to stay a while. The rental pool tends to be dated, which is fine with me. As long as they take care of me and my lil honda to prolong it's useful life, I'm happy. read more

I love Triangle, and all the folks who work there - John, Tee, Diane and others. They are friendly, remember me and use my name, try to accommodate my schedule, and make me feel at home if I have to wait. I took my old Accord to them for its last years, after 250,000 miles, and now am taking my Fit there. Nothing but good things to say. Finding a trustworthy place to take your car is a hard thing, in my experience, and Triangle fits the bill! By the way, I read the negative reviews here and was extremely surprised...I have never had such treatment, even as recently as last week, and have always felt respected and listened to. I have been taking my Honda's and Acura's to Triangle Motors since the 1980's and I feel like they are family. They are very honest, caring, and accommodating when it comes to service and helping out in anyway possible to ensure that I am satisfied. For example, I had a flat tire once when I was returning home from service at Triangle. I told them where I was and Tee (one of the service managers) shows up with a rental vehicle for me to drive home while he took care of getting my Honda Fit back to the service facility in Frederick. I can't say enough about how happy I am to have them servicing my car. I have also purchased several of their used cars and have gotten many miles out of each vehicle due to their tremendous service. This place has fantastic customer service and you can definitely tell that they have much experience with Hondas/Acuras. But beware of their pricing and mark ups on parts. I needed major job done and at first I asked what the labor cost would be which was fair market- however the mark up on the parts were OUT OF THIS WORLD. They refused to allow me to buy the parts and have them charge me labor so clearly which I thought was a bit odd especially since I was buying the same exact part. This place acts like they are a Honda dealership but in reality they are just a small shop. They want to charge you like a big dealer. I'm not taking away from the quality of their work but definitely sleezy ppl that want to make as much money of you as possible. read more

After receiving a recommendation, I brought my Acura to Triangle Motors. I wish I hadn't. Stay away. Worst experience ever. Not only did they not fix my Acura, they charged me another diagnostic fee to find the issue they said wasn't an issue the first time. Does this sound right to anyone else? You didn't fix my car the first time. So I bring it back at their request. Only to be charged to look at it again? You're kidding me, right? Stay away. There was a time when Triangle Motors was "The Place" for prompt and reliable service for Honda owners in Frederick County. An alternative to the overpriced dealerships when routine maintenance and major repairs were needed. I could always rely on their advice, and I trusted them not to push unnecessary repairs and maintenance. Above all, their customer service was excellent. Those days have apparently passed. My last two experiences at Triangle have left me running back to the dealerships, eager to pay their ridiculous parts fees and labor rates, because at least the dealerships will treat me with courtesy and respect. There are few things as irritating as being spoken to like you are child or an idiot, and that is exactly how the general manager deals with his customers (or at least me). The last time I took my car to Triangle Motors, I dropped it off at 8am for a simple oil change, and told the service advisor that I would pick it up "around lunchtime." I returned at 2:30pm to find my car was still sitting where I had parked it 6 hours earlier. Instead of an apology, the GM scolded me and said that if I wanted my car serviced, I needed to tell them when I would be picking it up. I guess "lunchtime" isn't specific enough, or maybe they need more than 6 hours to perform an oil change. Either way, this is just one example of a pattern of disrespectful treatment I've received from them. I won't be going back for more. read more

I have been bringing my cars here for years. I am sad to say I won't be bringing them anymore. The service has declined dramatically. I brought my car in for a brake job and it took 2 days because they didn't have the parts. A 2012 Civic's rotors should not take 2 days and I would think a dealership that deals in nothing but Hondas would have commonly replacement parts. The service manager did offer me a rental car. You tell me you don't have the basic parts for a simple brake job and that it may take a day or two to get the part in, but you will offer me a rental. No thanks. Additionally the price wasn't any cheaper than somewhere else. read more

I would rate triangle motors as non trustworthy. I took my car had an oil change and they give me a list of issues / recommendations for my car. I took my car to a local garage that I typically use who found none of the issues Triangle is tidied to be true. Do not recommend this garage!! Beware!!! read more
