We found a pretty sizable paper wasp nest under the eves on the second floor. No way I was going to reach that even with a 20ft sprayer. Sent out for quotes. Darren called me and was honest with we were dealing with and gave me a reasonable price. He came over same day, and actually found 4 more nests. For a little more he took care of all of them. He was quick, efficient and was able to pay online. Bonus: he didn't try to sell me on a monthly subscription which most companies aggressively do these days. Thank you Darren. You are my go to pest control moving forward. read more

Tri Valley Pest Control - This was what I found under the second floor eves. - Pest Control Near Me

I called Darren today to ask for an exterminator to come out and do an inspection for us on a space underneath a bathtub that had been taken over by rats and bees and after a bee extractor came to remove the hive. This was time-sensitive because we had initially planned on having some stucco contractors come by to fix the hole left behind. Not only did Darren listen to my concerns completely, he gave advice after asking more questions about the situation. He reassured me that the stucco work could move ahead as planned and was extremely knowledgeable about what was likely going on and how best to proceed after their work was done. He wasn't a pushy salesman. I wasn't just another potential appointment on his calendar. He was just an obvious expert in his field that wanted to help where he could and do what actually needed to be done. I will be coming back to Darren in the future for any pest control work that I may need because today he earned a customer for life. read more

I recently had a pesky rodent problem which was probably attributed to one small critter who on back-to-back nights came through one opening from the exterior of my home and would chew up a flimsy power cable which was fed through into the interior of my home. I reached out to a number of contractors to get consultation on how to attack this problem and prevent repeated return visits from this one critter. Unlike the majority of the five or six other companies I reached out to, Tri-Valley Pest Control was honest and did not try to upsell me on unnecessary additional services. Amongst those companies I had come to my home and provide me an estimate, all but Tri-Valley pest control and one other company were very aggressive in trying to get me to (1) enclose all visible openings from the exterior to prevent rodent entry, (2) set traps, and (3) completely redo the insulation in my attic. Of course the latter cost exceed beyond $10,000. I knew Tri-Valley Pest Control was honest as the technician upon the visit for the estimate offered to do a temporary enclosure where he was able to locate the point of entry to where the damage was happening. Additionally his estimate was the most competitive and fair and reasonable. He allowed me to apply the cost of the temporary enclosure to the full cost of the more permanent enclosures. He was able to come out within the next day or two to complete the permanent enclosure job. In addition, the technician was friendly, customer-oriented, and made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. I absolutely recommend Tri Valley Pest Control! read more

Darren with Tri Valley Pest Control came to treat an ant problem we've been struggling with for a year. He was very responsive to my initial call, was able to schedule a visit in a very timely manner, and was honest in his communication. He definitely has our business moving forward! It's wonderful to know we're dealing with a responsible and ethical local business owner who takes pride in his work. I've now recommended him to my local family members. read more

Really straightforward sales person, knowledgeable and NOT pushy. Patiently gave me the options for each level of service and provided a pressure free quote. It's been refreshing doing business with you! Also compliments to Shauna the administrator and scheduler, great communication. read more

Tri Valley has been the best pest control service I have ever used. I cannot recommend them enough! Darren and Chris are an absolute pleasure to work with! They are always so professional and prompt with their service. Chris alway treats our house and always does an amazing job. Since they started at our home, we have seen minimal pest activity and even when we have an increase, they are quick to resolve the issue even on months that I'm not scheduled to receive service. Since we've found them, I've started to convert my whole family to use Tri Valley Pest Control because they truly are the best! read more

We recently made a pest control vendor change for, primarily, insect control (ants!), and decidedon this firm-- and I am very satisfied so far. Tri Valley Pest Control is informed, strategic, friendly, and definitely seems to have addressed our ant issue in short order. They are professional, fair-priced, and, most importantly, keen on getting to the root cause of the issue (not rushing off like larger companies due to the number of clients for whom to serve). Highly recommend this business. read more

Thank goodness I found a Pest Control company that does a great job. Previously I had a pest control company for almost 15 years. They started using weak solutions and I constantly had to call for a re spray. All of a sudden, they stopped taking calls. I terminated them. Luckily I found Darren from Tri Valley Pest Control. He explained everything that he wound be doing, and doesn't use watered down products. He does a thorough job and I'm quite pleased with the outcome. read more

Tri Valley was very responsive. They came out quickly and solved our ant problem in one visit. I would certainly use the again.

Absolute best. We had a bad ant problem. Darren came right out, came back again a few days later and then followed up to see if we were still having problems (which we were not). Great service. If you are having pest problems look no further! This is your place! read more

Called to service a raccoon problem. Although they couldn't help with this service Darren was very kind and provided additional recommendations. If service for pest control is ever needed, this is the company I would contact. It's rare to find companies that would provide honest recommendations in the absence of financial benefit. read more

Had an ant issue that was a bit bigger than previous years. Read the reviews on Yelp and gave Tri Valley Pest Control a call. Darren was very reasonable, well informed, and did not try to upcharge me on services or contracts I didn't need. One of his colleagues, Pasquale, came by and sprayed our interior and exterior as discussed. No ants since. I appreciate the honesty , prompt and friendly service. Highly recommend. read more

I scheduled a consultation with Darren about an ant problem. He was prompt in his communications and arrived on time. He assessed the situation swiftly and determined that the treatments he offers were beyond my particular needs (i.e. I was able to take it from there with consumer-grade products myself). It's rare to find a knowledgeable vendor who does not try to upsell you or trick you into unnecessary services. While I wasn't able to fully use his services today, he left a great impression on me. Would definitely recommend and reach out to in the future. read more

I had an unexpected visit from ants. Darrin responded to my inquiry the same day and squeezed me in at the end of his day. He was super friendly, explained everything thoroughly and let me know that he was 99% certain he would eradicate the ants, but he may have to come back. So far, the ants are gone and they have not returned. Outstanding service. read more

Daren and his team is amazing. We had a fly infestation at our house, we were catching 10-20 flies a day and they seemed to be coming from inside our vents. He was able to squeeze me into his schedule next day. He listened to our situation and came prepared with a solution. Highly recommend Tri Valley Pest Control! read more

We've had problems with ants off and on for years. I contacted Darren and he came to our house the next day around 5pm. He talked with us and had a plan to take care of problem. I'm happy to say we have not seen an ant since. Highly recommend Tri Valley Pest Control. read more

Daren is very professional and explained how everything will be done. We had read all positive reviews so even though it was not the cheapest quote we still went ahead with Daren. Overall the first service was very well done. One huge thing to consider is there is no contract so if he wants to continue, he needs to ensure good quality service and that he was confident. Have not seen any spiders since the first service. Would surely recommend his services. read more

We heard noises in our bedroom about a month ago and immediately thought rodents had found their way into our attic again. In a panic, we reached out to rodent proofing companies on Yelp. Many companies responded and quite a few were scheduled for estimates. All of the inspectors were convinced the rodents were back with the exception of Darren from Tri Valley. After a thorough inspection and asking probing questions, he said he wasn't convinced we had a rodent issue. To test his theory, he laid out a bait and returned 2 weeks later to check it and sure enough he was correct as the bait was untouched. Darren saved us from what would have been a very expensive job that was completely unnecessary. We are SO very grateful to Darren for his honesty and expertise! His type of integrity is a rarity in today's world! Thank you Darren!! read more

I was in search of a new pest control company to address my pest control issues that my current company was not addressing. I called Tri Valley pest control to come out to my house for an estimate. Darren the owner came to my house and listened to my issues I've been having with my previous pest control company such as not knocking down spider webs on my eves, ant infestation that have been never controlled by the previous company to the damn pincher bugs that always mange to find there way in my house. Not only was there service immediately noticeable around my house with my pest issues, there rates beat my last pest control company out of the water. As a Livermore resident of 25+ years, it's a pleasure to support a locally owned and operated company. Thank you Darren read more

Highly recommend Tri Valley Pest Control. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of service for the low cost compared to other companies we've used. We have used at least 3 other bigger pest control companies in the past, but found that they kind of do bare minimum for a lot more money and want you to commit to a contract for long term service. The owner, Darren, of Tri Valley Pest Control is super responsive and did a great job. He customized our pest control service in consideration of our pets and small child - using safer, natural deterrents in areas where they play - and the other more heavy duty pesticides in problem areas near trash cans and such. He even spent quite a while removing all of the spiderwebs on the exterior of our house (there were a lot!) as part of the service. I was initially weary about using a small company but Tri Valley Pest Control used the same exact methods as the big guys and the spider web removal was an added bonus, plus no pressure for a long term contract. You can do a one time service or reoccurring too. read more

Daren and Chris came over to do an initial service on my home which took a careful and thorough 2 and a 1/2 hours!!!! The attention to detail was greatly appreciated. Other big name pest companies take around 15 minutes so I knew this company was special. Daren the owner actually answers his phone and is very knowledgeable and friendly as is Chris who worked so so hard on my house, and went above and beyond getting rid of spiders, webs and ants and spraying the pesky millions of red clover spiders on my patio. Thank you both for a job well done. :) read more

We have been fighting a battle with ants in our house on and off for years. Every heat wave or first big rain they would come. We used ant traps strategically for years. This year we finally realized we were losing the battle and were tired of it all. We called Darren and made an appointment for the next day. He came on time, reviewed our situation, explained his approach and services, and treated our whole house from outside. My wife and I went out to dinner and came back a few hours later - we have not seen an ant since! My wife says it's like a miracle occurred! Compared to buying endless ant traps from the hardware store (which required tons of ants to come eat from the traps in our house), this is an invaluable service! read more
