Then I have a trip coming up where I need to bring my equipment to work off location. My hard drive died the night before and he contacted me pronto to help. He saw me the next day where we met to confirm my laptop was dead on arrival then I ran to get a new laptop where he took it and made come to full life. Full life meaning he saved my old hard drive, my software and set-up better processes for me to use. When I say software, we're talking Quickbooks, Adobe, and Office! Yes I was stressed. But knowing Rodney was on the job, I was sound. And I had my new laptop back and I was up and running that afternoon! This is an updated review as I worked with him back in 2016. He helped me figure out how to print and scan on my Brother printer using their Command Center (that Center is wonky to use). Then helped me with it again and my new HP as again couldn't get them to both scan. I gotta scan and print for my biz. He deserves the bestest review possible as he is the bestest when it comes to PC help. Incredibly responsive, courteous and down to earth. He's knowledgeable and will guide you on a sound path.

I hopped on Yelp and found Gabe of San Ramon Computer Repair. I believe in supporting small businesses. I let him know what was happening and explained that I was a small, lady run business and couldn't afford to be down days as that this was a working trip and I was flying home in 7 days. He completely understood my predicament and that time was of the essence. He asked for the make and model of my laptop and gave me a few options that would be the utmost convenient for me with minimal disruption to my work. The battery came in and unfortunately it wasn't a battery issue but that my laptop was well past it's prime and toast. Chase, an employee was incredibly helpful with answering all my questions on what type of laptop to purchase for my needs. He offered to remove any data needed off the laptop and also offered to dispose of my laptop. So yes, I didn't end up needing their services and yes, I am still leaving a 5 star review. They are truly a great company to work with.

5 Stars - Absolutely Amazing Service! Above and Beyond!…read more I cannot say enough great things about Jane and her team! From start to finish, the service was absolutely exceptional. My computer had completely stopped working, and I was devastated thinking I had lost all my important files and information. Not only was Jane able to recover my data, but she also managed to get my computer up and running again! What impressed me the most was her honesty, professionalism, and genuine care for her customers. She never once tried to upsell me or convince me to spend money unnecessarily. Instead, she took the time to explain my options, understood my financial limitations, and helped me determine whether repairing my computer was truly worth the investment or if purchasing a new one would make more sense. Come to find out, my computer had corrosion that I wasn't even aware of, which was causing an electrical short. Jane and her team were able to identify the issue, repair the damage, and even fix the problem with my power cord! Throughout the entire process, Jane was patient, understanding, transparent, and mindful of how important recovering my information was to me. She worked diligently to get everything done as quickly as possible without compromising the quality of her work. It's rare to find a business that genuinely puts its customers' needs ahead of making a sale, but Jane and her team did exactly that! I went in thinking I had lost everything and would need a new computer, and I walked away with my data recovered and my computer FIXED! I am beyond grateful for their incredible work, honesty, and outstanding customer service. They have definitely earned my trust and loyalty. I will absolutely be returning for any future computer needs and recommending them to everyone I know! Thank you, Jane and team, for going above and beyond! Truly a 10/10 experience!

Unfortunately, my computer began to slow down and became very unresponsive, which made me extremely anxious since I don't have an IT team to turn to. I found Acamar Computer Services on Yelp and decided to contact Evan based on his excellent reviews. Everything I read was accurate! After explaining the urgency of my situation, Evan was able to see me that afternoon. During the consultation, I mentioned that I was prepared to hear that I needed to buy a new computer, considering I had purchased mine in 2021. However, after just a few minutes, Evan informed me that my hardware was in good condition. He only needed to address the "software bloat" to get my computer back in order. He also assured me that once this was done, I would likely have another two years before needing to worry about replacing my computer. We spoke on a Friday, and he kindly asked if I needed my computer back over the weekend or if I was okay leaving it for him to start working on it the following Monday afternoon. I chose to wait until Monday so I could finish a few more tasks. I dropped off my computer on Monday evening and picked it up the next day. Evan took the time to explain in detail everything he had done and how each change improved my computer. Evan is extremely talented, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. His pricing is very competitive and well worth every dollar spent. His primary focus is on delivering exceptional customer service, which is exactly what Acamar provides. I informed Evan that he is now part of "The Chrysalys Team" and will be my go-to IT professional for all my computer needs moving forward. I cannot recommend Acamar highly enough. Evan is a lifesaver!
