We are full time RV'ers. Our Ford Focus Titanium was experiencing transmission trouble. After being turned away by another dealer in town because they had a 2 week backlog we came to Tri-State. We arrived Friday at 7:15 am prior to their normal opening at 7:30. The service Bay door opened immediately and we were greeted by Cameron. He listened to our explanation of the problem and said they would investigate and get back to us. He then arranged for their courtesy vehicle to deliver us to the RV Park where we were staying. At 3:45 that afternoon Cameron called to tell us our vehicle was ready. Our problem was completed under warranty with no questions asked or hassles. We picked the car up Saturday and were assisted by another courteous service attendant whom provided us with information on applying for reimbursement of our rental expense. On Oct 13th, I was working North of Amarillo. I had a company truck, a 2015 F350 Super Duty, pulling a 35 ft. gooseneck equipment trailer with equipment loaded. Had a Check Engine Light come on when I started to head back to Western Oklahoma.. Pulled into the Service drive at Tri-State Ford, Cody Bradford, the service advisor said he could get me right in. He told me to unhook the trailer right there in their car lot. Mind you this was at 3;30 p.m. They diagnosed the issue as a fuel filter problem and recommended replacing them. My boss said to go ahead and do a complete service since I was already there. In less than an hour, Cody informed me I was ready to go. That was fast! Traveling thru Texas from California and our Raptor was making a loud sound whenever we turned the wheel to the right, eventually the sound got worse. Stopped at another dealer that didn't have the time(or didn't want to make the time) to even look at it for us. They did however tell us TriState Ford down the way may be able to assist. THANK GOODNESS we stopped at TriState. Hands down the nicest people. The girl that helped us ( think her name was Heidi) in service was outstanding! When your traveling, especially from out of state, from California on top of it LOL, and your treated so nicely, it gives you a sense of relief and reassurance that your in good hands. While driving across Texas on our way to Colorado, we got a "DEF Fault" warning on our 2021 Ford F250 (Lariat Diesel). We stopped in Amarillo, TX to seek repairs. After being told by another Ford Dealership (in Amarillo) that diagnosis and repair could not start for 7 days, we took our truck to Tri State Ford. Bri (service advisor) assured us that diagnosis and repair would begin immediately so that we could continue our planned travel. We left our Ford with Bri at 9:00 AM. She called us at 2:00 PM and informed us that the repairs were complete (a solenoid recharge valve was replaced). Hats off to Bri and the service staff at Tri-State for repairing our vehicle quickly and allowing us to continue with our planned travel. read more

Buying my new Ford F-250 was one of the best new car buying experiences I have ever encountered. I got great customer service and a good deal on my new truck. I really appreciated the "no non- sense" sales approach by Robert Sturges and John Taylor. These guys were great and never pressured me in making a decision. I'm from the Fort Worth area and after some car trouble, I was stranded in town while my car was going to be repaired. after considering my options I decided to buy a new car. 5 stars to Tri-state Ford for going beyond and helping me meet my expectations. We purchased a Hyundai Elantra in August 2014, this particular vehicle was listed on the Tri-State website and we were pleasantly surprised to find the car waiting for us in Amarillo the following day. We encountered two minor maintenance issues prior to leaving the dealership that the service department squared away without delay. "Fuel Efficient" doesn't do this car justice, we are impressed. A maintenance check was scheduled AND completed 10 months after purchase; to add, an additional maintenance issued was noted and fixed during the follow up visit. This is currently my go to for car service. I purchased a new 2018 car last year and had a great experience from Robert my salesman. I recommend him when you do look at a new Ford. I can also currently recommend the service department. I am super picky for service of my car and my opinion can change over the smallest issue. However after one year they have done a great job. Cameron my service advisor most visits has been spot on. Overall friendly team and like is said as a car guy most sales teams hate me. But this location never tried to out car guy me and let me get to my own decision when I did purchase the car. read more

This dealership has been amazing to us! We have taken 2 of our vehicles to them for service. The front desk staff in the service department is extremely professional and if they don't have the answer they get you one quickly. Our f150 has zero power. We got it to them at 3:45. They diagnosed the problem and had it back to us by 8 am the next morning. We also have a diesel 250 that they fixed for us in about 30 minutes when we were having a fuse problem. RV's: Coach-Net sent us to this facility and were they correct.......we had gotten some bad gas and our fuel filters were completely plugged. Even though we were from out of town, they took care of us immediately. After getting the parts the next day, we were fixed and on our way! We had a time table to make in order to get to the Balloon Festival in Albuquerque and with their help.....we made it! It has been our experience that other places are not so friendly to RV's from out of town. If we lived in Amarillo, this would be our place to go. read more

We were traveling and were not planning to buy a new truck. But faced with the possibility of breaking down on the way home, pulling an RV we decided to trade it's in. Jesse was able to put us in a truck that for our needs. Since we were on a time crunch they were able to find a fifth wheel at another location the next day and have us on our way. Completely incompetent. I was broke down waiting for a part that they said I needed for seven days. Gene Messer Ford was able to get the part in one day. But guess what I didn't even need the part! Tri-state misdiagnosed my truck and all I needed was a new battery. To this day I am still waiting for tri-state to call me and tell me that part is in. We were traveling and as we left the hotel in the morning we noticed a new, strange noise so took the car to Tri-State about 9:45 am. They checked the car in right away, were very polite, and within a half hour diagnosed the problem. The needed part was located and by 11:30 am we were on our way with no strange noise.
