This review was not something I expected to do but has to be given. Months ago I brought in my 2022 Toyota GR Supra in Nitro yellow (3.0 premium) for aftermarket wheels on the stock tires. The service took much longer than expected but was completely understood and the end product came out great. The team has treated me very well and always has since I first contacted them. After that, I had a part powder coated to match my new wheels which I later found out it wasn't Trending who did that... it was actually out-sourced by another person but still went very well. Finally, after months of waiting. I had brought in my car for HKS Hipermax Coilovers and new tires. An upgrade that I had been waiting to finally get done. It took well over a day for a single day job and the car had to be brought back in to properly be lowered like it should've been the first time. Which was done for free and I respect the team for not charging me more for another 4-5 hour job. Since the part was installed, I was told I needed to go to a dealer to remove the codes the car was throwing which it never should have. That would've been a $300 job that actually wouldn't have fixed the issue. Trending Motorsports broke the front drivers side ABS sensor and it made the vehicle extremely dangerous to drive and almost caused a very serious accident that also damaged my front tires. Also, when I had brought my car to another highly reputable shop that specializes in GR Supra (P2uned), they informed me of all the mistakes Trending had made. There was a lot of coilover damage to the driver side and passenger side. Mostly on driver side.. and the HKS coils are $850.00 which are now highly damaged and are worth nothing after this installation from Trending. Later, I had found out the car wasn't lowered properly and was very uneven. Which can cause even more problems! With the car finally having the ABS fixed by P2uned, the suspension fully settled finally since the car was in a "limp mode" from damage, it went extremely low and is difficult to drive to its full potential. For a high performance vehicle that is great on the track but also on the roads, this cannot be acceptable which can lead to injury, death, and much more. They did in fact offer to pay for the $120.00 ABS sensor and powder coat the coils but that doesn't fix the coils and I haven't had the chance to go back to their shop since I do not want to take my vehicles near their lot. SUPRA 2020 Regarding:  2020 Toyota Supra modifications performed by Trending Motorsports Techniques 900 East Patrick Street Frederick, MD 21701 240-651-3251 The 2020 Toyota Supra was purchased February 21st 2020 for $60,665. In the spring of 2021, the owner and his caretaker were having lunch at the Beef N Buns N Paradise restaurant in Frederick, MD. The owner was driving his 2020 Toyota Supra. The owner was approached by Manuel Quintamilla and Junior Salgado. They told the owner they could make high performance modifications to his Supra. In June 2021 the owner dropped his Supra at Trending Mororsports Techniques (TMT) for modifications. The car owner made it clear that he did not want any modifications made to his car that would make it illegal to drive on the street. Manuel advised the owner that any modifications made would be street legal. Each modification took months to complete. Every time the owner would ask about the status of his car Manuel would tell him that the car would be ready on a particular date. On the date specified by Manuel, the owner and his caretaker would stop at the TMT shop, but the car was never ready, and most of the time not at the shop. Manuel would always have an excuse such as, they did not receive the parts, or the tuner was running behind, etc.  During this time frame, the 2nd Supra key FOB was given to TMT for their convenience. In July 2022, TMT would not return the vehicle, or tell the owner specifically where the vehicle was located.  The Frederick City Police Department (301-600-2021) was notified of issue.  Responding officer:  Officer Stanley.  Case number 484. Officer Stanley interviewed Junior Salgado and Manuel Quintamilla. TMT advised the car is at the tuner. Junior advise not to contact tuner or he will put your car at the end of the list. Junior wrote down a few letters on a piece of paper and gave it to the owner and said that is the web address where the car is. The address proved to be a non-existent webpage. The owner has been battling Mutiple Myloma Blood Cancer since 2019 and has been in and out of the hospital multiple times while dealing with TMT. 2nd police notification. July 19th, 2023 Responding officer:  Officer Constantine. Case number 23-059177 Phone number 240-549-4467 The owner had paid a total of $22,360.53 to TMT for modifications. Junior told Officer Constantine that the owner needed to pay an additional $1,200.00 tuning fee. Junior would not tell the owner where the car was.  Junior also advised, in the presence of the police officer, that illegal modifications were made to the car.    After pressing TMT on the location of the car, Junior got 1-To-1 Turning on the phone. 1-to-1 advised that TMT dropped the car at his shop for tuning but the car will not start. 1-to-1 advised they have been asking TMT for months to come and get the car. After being confronted about the state of the car, and no tuning being done, in the presence of Officer Constantine, Junior agreed to drop the tuning charge and turn possession of the car over to the owner. The owner had the car towed from 1-to-1 Tuning in Marriottsville, MD to the DARCARS Toyota dealership at 5293 Buckeystown Pike in Frederick MD. Due to the non-running condition of the car, Mark's Towing of Frederick, MD had to send a special tow vehicle with dolley wheels to Marriottsville, MD to retrieve car. The owner had to pay the towing cost to have the car towed.     There was only one key FOB with the car.  TMT advised they cannot find the 2nd key FOB. DARCARS Toyota advised the cost of another FOB is $1199.96. However, due to the unknown whereabouts of the 2nd key FOB, the car needs to be rekeyed with 2 new key FOBs, and one physical key lock.  Re-keying will cost approximately $2,500. Darcars Toyota found vehicle will not start. Darcars replaced a dead battery, and damaged power distribution box. They found the vehicle has 44 codes in the system and the internal control units are not communicating. They replaced the engine control module, body control module, and spark plugs. DARCARS advised the internal control units are now communicating, but the vehicle will not start. The total cost of Toyota services performed to get the control units to communicate was $6245.27. DARCARS service advisor advised the additional repairs needed to fix the vehicle are more than the vehicle is worth and it must be towed from their facility. The car was taken to a second turner and the second turner also advised the car is not worth fixing. TMT had the car in their possession for more than 2 years and the car was not operational once it was back in the possession of the owner. The second tuner advised the cost to bring the car into a safe operating condition may cost $30,000. Retribution attempts have been made directly with TMT, and they have ignored all requests. Legal action is being taken against TMT. read more

I visited TMT a few weeks ago because my Ford Fiesta was trembling and really struggling to drive. Manuel was so helpful. He really took the time to explain everything he was going to do to my car and why. I have been to other mechanics before but they usually don't take the time to explain to me why they are doing things. They usually give me a quote and that's it. Manuel took me and the vehicle to a test drive and showed me what was wrong. He fixed my car in about a day and now it runs smooth and he even spoke with Ford about the transmission situation, since I had gone for a transmission recall about a year back. Manuel texted us as soon as he was done and we again went on a test drive to see the work he did. Manuel is very nice and he made me feel at home. He has a very welcoming personality, and he takes the time to answer all your questions. I will definitely go back and I have recommended him to my family and friends.
